2.5 Million Naira a month (30 million a year) can give anyone a decent life in any part of Nigeria. We pay rent in Nigeria Yearly not Monthly,
You can dig your own borehole and install solar energy for yourself (Note: This can only be done once, not every month), Register your family for NHIS and get adequate health care services for very cheap amount or free in some cases (Note: 80% of the so called Nigeria rich men are benefiting greatly from NHIS). Buy your food stuffs in bulk from local village markets and you will be shocked of the amounts, They are so many standard private schools that their school fees are less than 500K (Note: School fees are paid per term not monthly). I can keep listing and won't stop many. Do you know that you can employ a driver and maid earning that amount in Nigeria per month?

NOTE: No amount of money have ever been enough for Nigerians and in Nigeria. Even when minimum wage was 18K and cup of rice was 20 Naira, Report came out that millions of Nigerians were living below $1 Dollar a day (Dollar was just 150 Naira then), Even when fuel was 60 Naira per litre, many Nigerian car owners were parking their cars at home and trekking for months because they couldn't afford to buy fuel. Even when bag of rice was 5K Naira many Nigerians couldn't afford it, Rice were eaten mostly on Sundays or during occasions or festive period.

In my area and my base, club houses, Beer palour, recreational centers, eateries, hotels etc still get filled up on a daily bases (It is even more worst during the weekends, from Wednesday 95% of the rooms in all the guest house have been booked till the next Monday), Boys still spray money lavishly in club houses till date.

Here on Nairaland, a guy bought a Hilux truck worth over 60 million Naira few days ago, My uncle who could't pay his house rent that was just 50K Naira in 2012, Is currently building a twin duplex presently in two different states in Nigeria (Note: This my uncle is a Nigerian based business man), Last week Friday, my neighbor bought his wife a new car worth 12 million Naira. My childhood friend will be getting married tomorrow, do you know that her husband to be is planning to give us her bridal train 200K Naira each and we are 7 in numbers (My friend did the amebo to me). They are lot and lot of so many new that I doubt that Nigerians are suffering.
