CONGRATS

jinyeid:
Dear All, I want to thank you all for your info and help. I deleivered my Baby safely in Brampton Thanks God and would like to share my experience with all of you;

I paid 3,500 CAD including Epidural, Anesthesia and Anesthetic Dr. - C-Section Delivery!
I delivered in Brampton Civic Hospital and the cost for 1 night was 2,000 CAD for me and 600 CAD for the Baby.

Regarding the airport, no one asked me anything although I was in my 30th week but I wore a lot of loose clothes trying to hide it grin

I stayed with my brother and his wife so I didn't use rent, but as it's already well known transportation is VERY EXPENSIVE there embarassed

The rest of stuff is mentioned clearly in the forum I believe (e.g. birth certificate, passport ...etc)

Thanks again and let me know if anyone need any help or have any question...

Congratulations Didysal,

Try to check the status online, it's meant to take 5/6working days....if there's any issue please go to the nearest service Canada office (I went to the one at North York, Toronto) to log a complaint. I went with a copy of my return ticket to Nigeria and it was scanned to those in charge of birth certificates; i reveived the birth certificate about 3/4days after and thereafter processed a fast-track passport.

you can buzz Hotstepper....i didn't meet her physically but she was really helpful when I got a bit stuck with baby registration documents.

All the best & GOD bless your new-born!

Hello Everyone. I just had my baby in Brampton. I did the birth registration but from what i was told, new borns cannot expedite their birth certificate, amd it takes 16 weeks. Please what did others that have gone through this do?
