This show is worth the hype...

Started season 1 yesterday and almost done with season 2 already

Season 1 was very interesting but I won’t say same for Season 2, it became boring with the 99% change characters and the story became all gang fights shit only

I watched both seasons this year so I’ll rate Season 1. 7/10 and Season 2. 4.8/10

SUPERMAN is also a family movie in case you forgot. And casual moviegoers would have had their fill of family movies with films like HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, LILO AND STITCH, JURASSIC WORLD and ELIO all releasing before Smurfs.
Smurfs doesn't have that wow factor to give you FOMO or any hype to it. But these films all do.
So I barely see an interest in that film.

The Old Guard 2 is not a theatrical release but i totally get your point. A very tough ask for a movie to make a bill these days, harder still, when it has to compete with a heavy bo return magnet like Jurassic World: Rebirth, which is the only realistic competitor going by the list you have up there.

Infact, only 4 movies have cross 1bill since 2024 till date and only 2 movies, has crossed 800m this year even..so tough... tough ask imo.

the only Superman movies that hit 800M mark is because everyone wants to see Batman beat Superman even Justice League with that hype didn’t do justice

Lol, The Old Guard 2 is a Netflix movie. And even if it releases in theatres, it can't even be a threat to SUPERMAN at all. It's not really an anticipated blockbuster, let's be serious.

SMURFS doesn't even pose any challenge also despite being a family film, lol. That franchise has been dwindling over the years. The last film in 2017 didn't even pass $200mn worldwide. That's even pre-pandemic era, so who's gonna spend their money on that now? Film wey gross $45mn in North America?
I'm a fan of that franchise and have been watching every 2010s released movie, so I know what I'm saying.

Fantastic Four, it looks good so far but it also can't shake the franchise poor record both critic's wise and box office wise. It might be a really good film but I doubt this one is escaping the bad rep its gotten over the years at Fox.
We all saw how good TSS was but couldn't escape that stinker in 2016's Suicide Squad.
If F4 does fantastically well, I see a gross not more than $650mn and this is pretty optimistic. If it does as expected, around a $450-550mn because of the MCU.

The real challenge to me is JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH. Obviously that franchise is a surefire billion dollars spinner. So, it's going to be tough going up against it. But still, I have a weird feeling this one might not hit the $1bn mark everyone keeps shouting or has come to expect from the franchise.

the reason why I added SMURFS it because family movies and cartoons has been doing well since 2023 and it’s will be released 7 days after Superman which will slow it down and I believe it will hit 500m mark with Rihanna as the main character

Superman Trailer looks good and dark but hyping it based on trailer this days….that I won’t do
it’s will be hard for the movie to cross or hit 1B mark when this movies are also airing same month:

I don finally watch this movie after many years and it was a good 2hrs without fast forward and I almost forgot about the great cast, Florence Pugh, Timothée, Emma Watson, the main female lead and other actors all did well

GOT: the red wedding scene is still my favorite unpredictable scene

1. To enter the code I got from my email , which they did send
2. To enter the binance authentication code from my app which I don't have. And there is no place that says "I don't have access to this"
