TemporaryHansel:
Nah. It's childish bullsh1t where the protagonist is crying every episode. Same reason I couldn't stomach demon slayer, I dropped it after few episodes into the first season.

Demon slayer MC is not bad in season 1 for someone who lost all his siblings in a day and he is the oldest.

If it real life he will cry till infinity castle because anytime he sees his sister being a demon will bring back memories

Baddestguyp:
Off Campus (2026)

have you watched MHA anime?

I’ve watched S1 in 2016 but don’t remember much so does the series worth watching again since it won Anime of the year award and I’ve seen some videos of the S8 ending too

abduleez1:
😭😭😭

So not enough men watched this because of Starz's quota system.

Hollywood nor really know film to cancel………. Rings of power don dy go S4 Abi still no update news of Rings of power being canceled

Just canceled the S3 because nobody will be able to play the character like Tom and we gonna like it even if he can, our brain won’t allowed it.

Baddestguyp:
The Boys (season 5).... 2/10

A terrible finale to a terrible final season.

Spoilers for the finale ahead -

The only positive in the finale was the last conversation between Hughie and Butcher. Every other scene was terrible, right from the cringe dialogue and anàl jokes during Frenchie's funeral.

I've seen this trend for years now in Hollywood where movies/series seem averse to emotional moments and constantly interrupt them with jokes and this scene was one of the biggest offenders. Its almost as if the writers think the audience cannot handle serious emotional scenes without interrupting them with jokes. It kills any emotional tension in the scene when its constantly filled with anàl jokes.

Sister Sage - what can I even say about this dúmb character. She was a running joke in the entire series where for a smart character she actually seemed pretty stúpid. Her conclusion was equally stúpid. Truly, a character can only be as smart as their writers. Her only purpose was to appear at the end of every series of random events and claim "it was my plan all along" with no logic behind it.

Everything about this season felt small. From every setting taking place in a small room or deserted street, to every superhero fight amounting to small punches with barely any powers used. Fake Black Noir who was immune to bullets from auto rifles somehow died to a table knife.

The entire finale taking place in a small oval office was disappointing. They didn't even destroy the room, just a few holes and scattered wall paint for a supposed final battle of some of the strongest characters in the entire series. How they even got past the non-existent security made no sense. So apparently the white house was still using the same access codes to tunnel entrances after like a year?
All the security of the white house being just access codes and no other form of security or manpower made no sense.

That's not to talk about homelander addressing just a room of people. Zero scale. Homelander had been teased of reaching a boiling point and snapping for how many seasons so far?
It all amounted to nothing but empty threats in an office...no public massacre, nothing.

And we are supposed to believe that the character so fast that he kept up with A-Train just a few episodes ago cannot escape an open room when he was actively trying to? The same character who flew off to space and back in like 3 seconds in the same episode cannot escape a room with significantly slower characters?

The Deep's conclusion was a clear case of plot convenience. Starlight didn't even know about the threat to Deep from the ocean. She just happened to fly him out to a beach for another low budget fight? How is it strategic to fly out someone who is stronger in the water to a beach surrounded by water? She had no idea the sea creatures were out to kill him. So she apparently just did the most foolish thing she could have done and ended up with pure luck? What a coincidence...

There just happened to be a giant squid that close to the shore as if it was waiting for him to land there. What a coincidence....And what even can the deep do? Shouldn't he be able to swim way faster than a normal human and reach depths and endure water pressure way stronger than any human?

Soldier Boy was another wasted character. Revived just to be put back in a box. The writers really did him super dirty. His character's only existence was to market the spin-off.

The entire season, just like season 4 was a waste of time. Cringe sèx jokes and filler episodes.

There was no active buildup in the season to the finale. The characters in the final episode just decided in like 2 minutes to go attack the White House. And they infiltrated and reached the oval office in like 3 minutes.

What exactly was the point of V1? You could literally delete it and barely anything would change in the show...

Kimiko who was cut in half by Homelander's laser in the first episode of the season can suddenly tank the same laser like its nothing...

Despite these negatives, Homelander's character ending was good after he lost his powers. His pathetic state after losing his powers was in line with his character but I wish we got a slight longer speech after he saw his begging wouldn't work when he switched to declaring that he was homelander and god. A longer speech of homeland declaring his godhood would have worked better.

A sad pathetic ending to such a series. Only the first 2 episodes of the final season were worth watching especially the character conclusion of A-Train.

The show should have ended in season 3 with a rewritten two hour finale. The past two seasons were nothing but a waste of time.

Right now I cannot recommend the show to anyone, unless I am recommending up to season 3. Its best to pretend the last 2 seasons do not exist. Such a shame what corporate greed could do to a show once regarded as the best superhero show on TV.

I stopped this series in S3, I just feel the story is getting too long and useless

Off Campus 8/10

The series was really surprising fun and I enjoyed the sex scenes, Nude and of course the story and the casts too but the only issue in the film is that we waited to see the main girl (B) and they didn’t show us but rather show the other characters which is not big enough.

Perfect Crown 8/10
The K-drama was really fun to watch and also showing us that IU can actually act any role given to her.

Classickj:
Pls any update on Solo leveling S3

Not yet but I feel it will be likely late 2028

Baddestguyp:
I'm waiting for season 2 to finish airing to binge it.
I watched season 1 when it aired

I’ll also wait for S2 to complete because I finish S1 just a day, I even stop work to finish it

Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 1. 8.5/10

I didn’t know it’s was really that interesting and it on my watchlist since, The hype on S2 airing now make me watch it and I love it.

If you like “black clover” than check this out.

samistry:
🤡

next will be all gay spin-off

I just remember “Special Ops Lioness” season 3 will likely be air this year or early next

Devil May Cry S2 8/10
Netflix really did a great job with this and I can’t wait to know when S3 will be released.

Project Hail Mary 7.5/10
The movie was good for a space film but I feel like it too long, anyway It started well and ended well with a bit of mix emotions which was a great idea.

Spoiler warning: I like the realistic scenes from the main character not chosen to kill himself to save the world and also going back to save his friend.

The Drama 3.5/10
Beautiful nonsense, they should have cast upcoming actors as the main leads and I’ll just pass without watching it cus the trailer too is somehow but I didn’t imagine it to be this bad.

100naira:
Mortal Kombat 2, a movie for the core fans.

7.5/10

Much better than the first one, fights are more brutal and smoother and the fatalities are plenty

By the way Cinema culture is dying in this country, we were only 5 that watched the movie in my time slot, everywhere empty like this.

The economic is bad.

Few days ago, I pay 30k for 2 to watch movies, TF 14k so total 44k wasted in this economy…………this is many people monthly income

Why spend money in Cinema, when I can just wait 3 months to watch it on TV and while waiting there is a lot of interesting series airing now to keep you busy after work hours.

I hope history repeats itself but PSG winning it in a row is also bad cuz it makes CL looks too easy

The 43yrs Anne Hathaway looks more Sexy than her younger self…………. 22yrs old millie bobby is already looking like someone with 3 Children

Kaczynski:
Peak anime was 1980 - 2008

Anything after is slop.

Did you watch Attack on Titan or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood?

Outside the big 3 and death note…….I’m sure any anime you name I’ll mention few that is better from 2009 till date.

April:
Your lie in April series was really sad

May:
Youth of may series is really depressing AF

Achilles100:
Sentenced to be a Hero

After that 11th episode, the 12th episode was inevitable.

Best episode was the 6th episode, it was madness.

I can't really write much about it as it is a new anime and lots of people are yet to see it. Anyways, these are my opinion. If you can bear the 1st episode and the blaring 'hero music' you would coke to enjoy it.

I like Xylo's ex-fiancée, she just kept insulting him with simple English everytime.

7/10.

is she an ex or they are just not together for now because of the hero sentence……….. He is still his man tho for now before the other girl take over.

I really hope they do a small back story for Xylo and fiancée in S2

Your Lie in April

This is the most beautiful, Funny and saddest anime I've ever watched, I’ll definitely remember this series every April…….now I know why everyone was talking about it.

Rewatch: Nah, I’ll never, the series is too painful to watch again.

My Rating: 9.1/10

Fro5t:
Feels like yesterday when the Kagurabachi manga took the internet by storm and now we're getting an anime next year.
Looks good. Can't wait.

next year April

Apex 4/10

Achilles100:
Still on the first episode , idk if it's my kind on anime. The 'hero music' is too much for me. I will try and see more episodes though.

I saw a recommendation of Erased , 12 episodes anime. I laughed, cried, enjoyed it. Reminded me of the anime movie Your Name.

Thanks for this recommendation, I’m definitely watching this now, the trailer is giving Vibez like “Weathering with You”

oyaskii:
Amazon...but the delivery route is hell is you might as well just get use to reading it online.

Amazon was my first thought but the issues make me asked, they are the best.

Baddestguyp:
Maybe I should finally watch this. Dropped previously at episode 2

I also dropped it at Episode 2 before I get back some days ago……..the story get better from Ep3 and also dy tell us why bring an hero is a worse sentence than death too

sentenced to be a hero 8.5/10
I finally watched it and I love it

Does anyone knows where to ordered manga and send to Nigeria? I don’t like reading books online is boring.

Samueltemi337:
From hype?

hmmm

I’m I the only one who’s not interested in watching FROM series even with the hype of it for years now

Achilles100:
https://www.nairaland.com/671147/what-series-watching-now-part/3097#136178184

You go purge oh.

Your post is from 2025, I thought the series is newly released?

OhBritannia does the series looks like nicolas cage kinda budget film? Besides the story which u already liked

samistry:
I don't see any more story to tell in Gen V now that the Boys series is ending.
Also, I hope you keep this same energy for Rings of power which has sunk much money for little value in return.

Anyone here still watching Rings of Power?

I think the only reason this series is still going is because of LOTR fan base is too big

She’s not married to him so I can’t fully blame her but if she really love him, keeping it is a sign to always remember him and wait for his return

My issue in this scene is mark reply’s to Eve, like WTF is wrong with him, blaming himself for Eve killing his child……..the person wey write this rubbish is mad

The same Mark wey girl ra.pe, the same mark wey them bloody in every scene…..the more I dy see mark I dy vex

First time Prime cancelled a show worth canceling

OhBritannia:
Revival is a solid 9/10 for me.
I now believe that the best series out there are not mainstream and trending.
They don't even need PR but when you eventually come across them, you are instantly glued In a binge watch scenero.

Started this series because i saw the plot and got interested.
One of the best decisions i have made because the series is an absolute banger.

I loved how they started slowly, giving viewers time to understand what's happening and an opportunity for character development so that the casts can grow on us.
And immediately that is achieved, from episodes 4 till the end was an absolute thrill and mystery.
Every episode was a hit back to back, i just can't get enough of it.

I am particularly impressed with the character development, never thought some people will later become fans favourites.
The plot twists in the last episode was not expected at all and to add to it, it ended in a combination of plot twist and a cliffhanger.

I hope season 2 comes soon.

I need to see this now
