Falling in love with Fish really pain una…….lol

Achilles100:
Come oh, when will Demon Slayee be available for download. Since July that it premiered.

Haaaaa. Is any cinema still showing it?

the useless man is waiting and hoping it will hit $1b which won’t even hit $750M

The chainsaw man I watched is out already and this guy is just acting different, this is not how anime movies normally do

Rarre:
Don't waste your time watching

done

Rarre:
Yes

Is the series really bad?

I don’t have time to waste on film anymore when this govt is about to tax us

Rarre:
One of the worst film I've watched this year, these people are crazy

is this war between land and sea?

Now you see me, Now you don’t 4/10
Now you see me watched this part, You won’t see me watch the next one this people are planning to drop based on the ending of it.

Kharol1234:
Complete rubbish when it got to a stage I come confuse, had to fast forward it.

lol, the movie is 49mins long and anything from there is nonsense…

For people who watch kdrama, anytime you see my post about kdrama and my rating is below 5/10 just avoid it because I hardly rate kdrama low

oyaskii:
The reviews on this movie that i have seen so far, it's either very good or very very bad, zero in betweens...so who come dey lie?? 😭😭

good reviews
The people rating it high or good are seeing the movie like Edge of Tomorrow and don’t even know why the loop are happening because if they do…..they will see the movie differently.

bad reviews
The writer start the disaster story early and ended it in 49mins which followed the narrative and the title name b4 everything changed and anything from there is about Ai simulation, the reason behind this time loop are never clearly explained but few people knew the details

Spoiler Alert if you don’t want to watch the movie and this is the summary
The main girl son was killed at the end of 49mins and his memories must be harvested to advance the Emotion Engine's development which the main character was involved with and every human being will be replaced by AI with human emotions and the main character also dead in space and want to be with her son too

3/10

Just watched the trailer of this movie and move on and this is the 2nd Kdrama I rated
low this year following “My daughter is a zombie” and both titles are misleading.

It is not just Nigeria, it is a global phenomenon. There are three major reasons why people are not turning up at the cinemas

1. Inflation and high cost- In central London, a blockbuster movie would cost you 15-20 GBP (pounds). That is just your ticket. 15 pounds is 30,000 Naira, for reference. Same goes for inflation and high costs in the USA.

2. Cliche/repetitive movie ideas- Hollywood is running out of ideas; we are now getting remakes, sequels, prequels ect of old intellectual properties and movie franchises. I loved Predator Badlands but I knew how it would end. Also, keep in mind that this is the 7th Predator movie in the franchise (including AVP movies). Only a few movies are actually new ideas.

3. Streaming and social media- why leave my house to the cinema when I am paying almost 40 dollars a month on streaming (Netflix, prime, crunchyroll, disney+ etc) to watch movies at the comfort of my house. Keep in mind that in countries that have winter, the incentive to go out is reduced. Furthermore, I can tell you that I have watched 5 hours of youtube movies analysis on a 2 hour plus movie. Streaming is taking over small by small.

Do you know how much people pay for a music concert that they already listened to many times and everywhere will be full?

You said it all but I still believe that people just choose where to spend there money at

This month many musicians will do Concerts, just check the prices of it and everywhere will still be full and even in central London concert too

kpankpangolo:
Every scene of the movie was a visual spectacle. I don’t remember thinking any part should be removed.

Our viewing was 06:20 p.m. The movie ended at 09:30 p.m. I don’t see what else one would need to do by those times instead of relaxing to enjoy a film. I now remember that most of those who walked out at 1 hour, 2 hours and 2 hours, 30 minutes were women accompanied by potential suitors. What a waste of money. The male by my side brought a female friend who spent the whole movie asking questions.

Though a rehash of The Way Of Water, it will be a waste to skip scenes of any sort. If the movie doesn’t interest you, watch something else.

Cinemas aren’t full anymore. Marvel is going to lose money next year. It’s not about promotion for movies. I believe it is budgets getting overblown without taking into account that consumers will rather wait for streaming. We weren’t up to forty people in the cinema hall today. When I went to watch Predator Badlands, we weren’t more than twenty. Movies with small budgets should be encouraged. Studio executives fed fat on Paranormal Activity which made 194 million dollars off a 100,000 dollar budget. The Blair Witch Project was a similar success.

Well, at least M3gan was a hit. I loved that movie.

I meant Reverse……. Anyway Nigeria Cinemas is dead and nothing can save it

Wake up dead man 7.5/10

Predator Badlands 3/10
This movie will definitely be nominated for one of the worst films in 2025 and still finished in 3rd place

kpankpangolo:
I just came out of watching Avatar: Fire and Ash. Cinema culture is officially dead.

The movie was longer than the other two in the series. At 3 plus hours, many people will clock out in 90 minutes, 2 hours or around 2 hours and 30 minutes. Social media truly destroyed the human ability to concentrate on events. Many people spent the full runtime on their phones. All I could hear from many angles were notification beeps on phones. Some people, likely children, kept turning on the flashlights of their phones and pointing them at the screen. Others discussed and answered phone calls. Honestly, you paid almost ten thousand Naira to watch this movie. You cannot pause your life for three hours? Watch it with an empty bladder if you can. You will need a bathroom break or two.

The movie resumed exactly where the sequel ended and played more like Avatar The Way of Water 2.5 than a standalone sequel. As enjoyable as the visuals were, what next is there for the movie? I was hesitant to catch this one in the cinema, however I will not regret doing so. Everything here was a beat for beat replica of The Way of Water. Pandora’s lore was expanded upon and some rules established in the other movies were pushed aside for plot convenience. Quaritch has lost any reason to hate the Sullies at this point. As a villain, he can be replaced. The other two main baddies didn’t give also. They were forgettable.

All in all, if you enjoyed the last movie, go for this one. If you wait to download it, get it in the best quality on the biggest screen available. The visuals are worth it. The sound was a rehash of the first movie’s. You’ll recognize a symphony or two. The movies have finally become formulaic and risk-averse. Corporate greed likely stretched The Way of Water into two films. This chapter closed the franchise for me. I’m not doing again.

[Bonus]

Predator Badlands was mid. If Prey was the same, thank God I skipped that film. I couldn’t root for Dek because he wasn’t appealing to the eyes. He also spent every scene screaming in frustration. What a weak protagonist. Thia talked too much and was annoying. Tessa was nice. I hated how the antagonists were competent in their jobs until they met the protagonists. All of a sudden, they fell by the numbers like they weren’t trained for combat. I watched the movie for satisfying kills. I didn’t get any. The producer should’ve watched Kick Ass for character-death inspiration. As soon as I saw the alien which hooked on to them for companionship, I knew Disney had a hand in making The Predator a kids-friendly franchise.

[Final Thoughts]

It wouldn’t matter how I try to watch LOTR: FOTR, I will sleep off halfway. I’ve tried four times now. The movie is too long. I haven’t gone past the first film and doubt I will watch the full box set in my lifetime. The same happened to me with The Joker until I passively watched it. Still a boring movie which I have no idea what all the fuss was about.

Social media didn’t destroyed the human ability to concentrate on events, it’s ain’t worth it, people get things to do in day time and some are going for a date

the 3hrs runtime is the only reason why I won’t watch it in cinema and I can only watch this movie from 10pm up completely and I can fast forward it back to some nice scenes which I can’t do in Cinema

Hmmm

Kharol1234:
This one you don gibe this kind rating so, i fit watch am again because e they my phone

you can but know you won’t like it since you don download am already like me cus that’s the only reason why I watch it today because I need to delete it……... the story, acting, action, casts and the whole production is shit

In 2025 This tron movie should be an upgrade but it’s the worst of the franchise so far

Tron Ares 0/10
I think this should be the last tron film ever made or if they want to make like one or two, let it be animated because the tron animation series is the only good thing from the franchise so far

CoolUsername:
Blame!
Knights of Sidonia
Aposimz
Tower Dungeon

PS: kaycee

this Blame and Blood C series is on my watchlist this month.

Both anime looks great

OhBritannia:
Hmmm personally the Sandman season 2 is better than season 1.
I guess everyone is entitled to what they like sha.

Watched the episode 1 of welcome to Derry and i loved it instantly, so i decided to wait for all episodes to be completed before i binge watch.

Season 2 is better than season 1 in many ways and the story is just to much and I’ll say the sandman is definitely on my top 10 favorite series outside k-drama

K-pop? Netflix is the new version of corruption, this people wan use 4 days run on cinemas dy bag award in different categories

Avatar or zoo 2 is winning this

They nominated Elio but not NeZha 2 or Chainsaw man, little amelie is 100% not qualified to be there, wtf is this cartoon, I just watched the trailer and I’m confused why they added it

Demon slayer or K-pop, one of this movie will win it but I’m 80% sure it going to be K-pop.

TemporaryHansel:
Avatar 3 is almost out and I'm yet to watch Avatar 2. The 3hours runtime discouraged me.

Seriously the 3hours is too much to watch at once without going for a short break, It 50/50 if I’ll watch it at cinema

oyaskii:
Hype una... It's ridiculously good and probably one of the best animation to come out in the last few years, giving, Netflix went on an incredible marketing campaign to soft launch it, but I think the animation duly matched it, in quality, because what's there not to like really, good enough story? Quality Soundtracks? Relatable Characters, the whole fking lot tbh!, they even released a digital art book for the nerds, which i absolutely loved. Even "The Critical Drinker", who seems to hate every media out these days, loved this.

If they mistakenly do a cinema wide release this December, best believe, Filmhouse will be seeing my money 😭😭

yeah, it definitely a good movie which is one of my favorite animation, This is the best movie from Netflix this year and we are waiting for the next story from kpop.

samistry:
Kpop Demon Hunters own na cho cho cho.
Comot for cinema show workings

I believe with the hype on K-pop demon hunters, the movie will also do well on cinema and even when Netflix releases it on 4 day’s cinema run the movie did well.

Netflix really did great in this series, pls leave ur Hollywood nonsense and put aside that anime series and watch this K-drama.

Everyone should watch this and you know I’m never wrong when it’s comes to hyping a series.

DieRich5:
Didn’t this movie released on Nov 28? Omo this is really fast, Now I’m eyeing $2B on Avatar

yesterday it’s was $700 now today is $900 under 2 week

Didn’t this movie released on Nov 28? Omo this is really fast, Now I’m eyeing $2B on Avatar

sabrina carpenter is the best for this role

DC movie should stay away from theater, Netflix should release it and let us rate it and move on.

abduleez1:
Top tier song NGL.
This show made me fall in love with 80s music. So top tier the music score.

80s music still sounds good at this age

I hope I’ll hear this song in this season of stranger things

Achilles100:
