No you're wrong not west Africa but central, Congo and Cameroon specifically, and it's much worse in Central and southern Africa. Aids is not as bad in West Africa compared to those regions.

Ignorant woman but the reputation of Africa being an aids ridden continent Is just humiliating. Our reputation and image needs to change but many in Africa are just backwards and impossible to educate.

Congolese music is mostly in Lingala and French but regardless, the French speaking countries just aren't as noticeable on the international screen as the English speaking Africans. French West African musicians are much bigger in France and their native countries. But lucky for the Nigerians the Ivorians don't speak good English lol otherwise they'll dominate African music.

Ivorians have very good music, if it wasn't for the fact that they speak French they would rival Nigerian and Ghana. Personally, I think they have better music it's just most of the western world speaks English so it wouldn't go over so well.
