ottersberger: I don't see how that is viable or even possible. One reasonably structured and equipped health center per town, and a proper hospital at the local government level, is adequate. Anything else is the usual propaganda. I happen to know that health centers in Enugu have been struggling to employ or keep a nurse on their roster. In fact, most are desolate with no services offered.
Another initiative would be to encourage retiring doctors and graduate physicians to establish private practices in their hometown or places where their services are needed. The government should incentivize these practices. Chill, about 70 of them are ready and awaiting equipment. Over 200 Medics have been employed for these first batch. We are bullish on Enugu's development. Enugu will surpass Rivers as Nigeria's second largest economy by 2031 |

Mephy: These people looked distressed. Last year they did not pay dividends after most companies had paid dividends. When they eventually paid, they promised they had fixed what caused the delay. Now companies have paid dividends and yet they are yet to credit our accounts.
Secondly, I gifted someone shares since last year. As I speak you, the shares have not been credited. All efforts to get customer care to look into it failed. Infact on customer care rep marked my complaint as resolved when it was yet to be resolved Please were you able to sort out the issue? |

Localemperor: Are you blind to all the attack on Mbah in this group? Oga weather you like it or not, Mbah's one year in office has outperformed your Messiah's 8 years... Nobody is my Messiah, I am a loyal Party man. Chimaroke, Sullivan and Ugwuanyi have played their part. It is now Mbah's time and we should support him to succeed. I don't have issue with criticism or praises, I only have issues when it is laced with tribal or sectional contents. We should focus more on what binds us. |

Localemperor: Gov Peter Mbah will go down as the best governor Enugu state has ever had. For those people that have had their brother who is a total failure by the way for good eight must be having a hard time try to tarnish the image of this present government.
If your brother was so good and a great performer, why did you fail to elect him to the Senate. You had just one chance to give us a governor when it was your turn after 16 Year and you gave us an under-performer who pays the media huge sum for face lift while the city decay and the effort of Sullivan undo in a short time. Those days when we ask you, you will claim that " He is paying salary", when is paying salary now an achievement? He is doing no one a favor, people deserve a fair pay for working. It's doesn't take much effort to out-do him.
The government of the day is working and it is visible to everyone except those that have decided to be blind oppositions. We will continue to defend Enugu from this naysayers. Enugu must be great again. Carry this madness to Facebook. Everything is me Vs us for you |

Objectivist04: The road from ugwuogo park through ugbene 1 to timber market is abandoned.
The amuri road from nowas stopped in front of MTN office and from there to Texaco junction seems to be abandoned.
After sand filling obinagu road , it was left like that for almost two months now
These are short short roads the longest is ugwuogo ugbene that is not more than 2.5 km Nowas is about 1.5 km , obinagu is about 800 meters, roads that ordinary shouldn't take More than 3 months to complete.
Honestly Ugwuanyi is more serious when it comes to project execution, Mba seems to be sleeping on the job. When last did you pass through these roads? The information I am getting on them is different from what you wrote here? |

ThirdWorldThug: Get beaten for what? Is this your way of convincing the reading public that the administration of Peter Mba is popular? Someone pointed out a certain deterioration of basic amenities in his city and your best comeback is to try to shut him up with threat of attack by some illusory mobs? Obviously, you and other agents of the failing administration here are discussing nothing but your fantasies. A year is now gone, yet you guys are still celebrating the demolition of businesses as the only achievement of the administration. At the end, 6 people out of 10 in Enugu remain in abject poverty, 90% of roads in Enugu remain dusty, dirt paths, and Enugu people continue to pay through noses to get water and private school education, because public schools are dead and the government of the day has failed in its loud promise to provide water. The meaning of my response is that these areas I mentioned have gotten a facelift and the people there are happy |
