I gave you the benefit of the doubt until I arrived in Enugu 3 weeks ago. This administration has been a disgrace so far. The roads in Enugu are an eyesore and there is no sign of visible progress on the water supply, only stories and contrary to your claim and that of Governor Peter Mba's obviously paid media representatives.

We are obviously wrong again in Enugu, no doubt, considering that the word on the street is that this election was also stolen.

Have you been to Kenyatta street lately?. What is governor Mbah really doing with the increased IGR and statutory federal allocation?.
Which of the roads are eyesore?

If you say this in Idaw River, Abakpa New Heaven, etc; you will likely get beaten.

I read somewhere that Mba is planning to build a new modern market in Nsukka undecided

I hope they make a cutting edge design for the 21st century or at least, the kind of New Ariara International Market being constructed at Aba.
Well, the only progress so far is that the state government has acquired a land between Nru and Eha Alumina for the land.

I will provide more update when I get them

Why didn't the govt flag off the modern bus terminals yesterday ??
I am not too sure but rumours had it that a DSS report necessitated the postponement.

I think some traders were organising a protest and there were fears it could be highjacked by political enemies.

So uba can't build their own property
Banks typically don't own properties except in highbrow areas where rent increases fastly with time.

They go for long term lease like 20-30 years instead.

Did they relocate them somewhere elsehuh
No. Anyway, the property is owned by Sam Maduka Onyishi. So, I think the bank will look for another property to rent.

The UN will not put any office on Enugu, stop deceiving yourselves. The level of insecurity in Enugu is alarming. Ipob is killing people everywhere in the state, just two days ago a politician in Enugu was murdered, I am surprised it was not even discussed here. The UN will not bring their staff to a town that lacks water and where its staff will be forced to sit at home every monday and be targeted by Ipob gunmen if they move around with police or military escort. Anambra is so much safer than Enugu. Mbah is only going around doing talk shows to distract the people after donating Enugu farmlands to Fulani herders.

The hotel will complement the ICC, providing one-stop destination for visitors..

If there is an event at the ICC, the visitors can simply star at the hotel while attending the events.

Also, Hilton over the weekend announced their plans to build a hotel in Enugu. It will be located at the HELIU estate.

Enugu is on the rise.

You should be ashamed of your self, Nsukka popularity was as a result of UNN. Nsukka is a glorified village without UNN.

Enugu North can never come close to Enugu east senatorial district in term of development. You guys are way behind. Your brother had his turn, he used it to eat draw soup.

When Guruguru was under performing did anyone insult Nsukka people? Peter Mba is just one year in and you guys are calling Nkanu people.
Finally, some of you with zero emotional intelligence should stop making enemies for Mbah. He is a good man. I was part of his think-tank and I know the effort we put in to make it happen. It is not everything we will write down here.

Now, look at the result of the election.

The entire Enugu East gave Mbah 56k votes, and Enugu North gave Mbah 51k votes.

If you remove Isi Uzo's votes from Mbah's votes, Nsukka people produced more votes for Mbah than his Nkanu's brothers.

A word is enough for the wise.

You don't know Nsukka bro. Nsukka is not from Peace Park to Beach Junction.

Nsukka is host to the following

19 Banks (15 commercial and 4 Microfinance).
4 Big Markets (Ogige, Timber, Building Materials and Ikpa Commodity Market).
Four Higher institutions (UNN, Bishop Shanahan College of Nursing, Enugu School of Health and College of Education).
Two Radio Stations.
A Mall (Robbenstore).
50 Hotels.
A GRA
An industrial Layout.
A state Worker's complex
Three Housing Estates.
Hosts of three Diocesan Cathedrals (Catholic, Anglican and Methodist)

Nsukka is a strategic production and distribution backbone for Nsukka pepper, Trademarked Quality palm oil and Cashew.

And many more.

Again, drop your primitive mindset. Nobody in this group has promoted Mbah the way I have done and I am not in from his zone.

To those of you that having been calling "Nkanu people"on this group, make no mistake, our silence so far is not a sign of cowardice. If you want to attack the Governor, attack him and leave Nkanu people alone. The three senatorial Zone will and have had their turn. And be rest assured that a governor from Nkanu extraction can never be the worst governor Enugu will produce. Keep your clannishness to yourself self, this is a public space.

From all indications this government will do better than the last administration. Healthy oppositions are welcome but anyone trying to divide Enugu along Clannish line will be totally annihilated.

Nkanu-land will continue to be the most developed part of Enugu state these was because the people were friendly and homely.
No location will play host to the University of Nigeria and still looks like Nsukka and it environ after 64years!!
I know your type but I am even ready to go down to your level but I just want to correct some misinformation for the sake of history.

Nsukka is not a university town. It's economy has little to do with UNN. So, with or without UNN, Nsukka will be developing.

Nsukka town is host to four big markets (Ogige, Building Materials, Timber and Ikpa Commodity Market).

Nsukka has over 50 hotel hotels and at least 10 of them are three stars.

It is a critical commercial backbone for agro-commerce linking SE, SS to the NC and beyond.

I don't think there is any Non state capital that Nsukka will not give a match for its money and if you think I am lying ask your real estate agent the price of land in Nsukka outskirts (not the town ooo because....)

Chief, you couldn't post three out of the 100 smart schools Peter Mba has built across Enugu State, and you couldn't direct me to an active site of these projects within two local government areas.
But here, you are gleefully announcing another self-gratifying project that solves no nagging need of the locality but rather destabilises hundreds of small businesses and fills the purse of Mba and his contractor friends.
Even if the so-called terminal trumps the Ogige market in significance, what happened to building a permanent site first?
Mba's idea of entrepreneurship is getting free billions to float an oil company, so he would forever see businesses rising from nothing as worthless entities. But I don't expect you, Digitron, to think that way too.
Chairman, Smart school is ongoing at Ezzi Iheakpu Awka in Igbo Eze South, Ovoko in Igbo Eze South and Ogurugu.

These are the sites I am sure off but I am sure there are over 100 active sites across the state

Pensions and gratituies were owned , doing the peak of UGM attack in enugu, he locked himself and block the road leading to the govt house.

Man couldn't even attract any single FDI in 8 years , some that were attracted to enugu closed down under him.
Man was so timid and was beret of ideas to run enugu. He used govt offices to settle his cronies.
Mbah is already ahead of him just this first year alone.

Why is that repetition in the screenshot so implicative? And did you really list the so-called terminals we read about the clearing of their spaces few days as what the governor achieved in 100 days? And 71 roads in Enugu City? Why only in Enugu City? And how come you could only posts those shoddy jobs that folks have been using to mock the administration on Facebook?
My bad. The smart schools should be comprehensive health centres.

The roads in Enugu city was prioritised to give the city a proper facelift.

What do you call shoddy Jobs? Roads are built based on the loads they are expected to carry.

You are well informed about it... I hope the govt also looks towards that direction.
As expected, the entire Phone section of Ogige Market has been asked to move to Aku road.

Check my last comment, Sir
You were not specific. For context, in the last one year, the following has been achieved:

Ongoing Construction of over 100 smart schools.
Ongoing Construction of 35 Smart school.
Water reticulation in Enugu City.
Reconstruction of 71 roads in Enugu city.
Development of a new Enugu City.
Ongoing Construction of Holy Ghost, Gariki, Abakpa and Nsukka Terminals.
Employment of over 100 doctors.

And many others in their planning stages. What else do you want?

We are reaching for a new low in governance in Enugu State when an administration that is almost in its 100th day has left no positive mark on the lives of its people but could unleash a herd of sycophants to bleat about "ongoing heavy demolitions everywhere", cosmetic works on some streets in one or two LGAs out of the 17, inspection visit to a FG airport project that has been abandoned for over eight years, and other mention of billions on some crooked and/or just-conceived projects as evidence of a working administration. Not even the famous initial gragra attributed to new administrations across Nigeria could produce a single tangible project, and it makes you wonder from what specie of weed the chaps rating Peter Mba above his equally-mediocre predecessor draws their inspiration from. Peter Mba is only better than Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in triggering a bigoted horde to rise to his defense anytime his apparent failure becomes a subject of discussion. At least, with Ugwuanyi, we only had Louis Amoke to contend with.
What are your expectations from Mbah's administration?

Let's start from there
