so, just as I had poor background in chemistry during my secondary school, are u telling me that I can still be good at it and that I should continue with the microbiology I added in the jamb

Please, I want to seat for this year jamb but my problem is this. After my secondary school, I went into business and ever since then, I've not read anything but recently the need to go back to school just surfaced and I have to buy the jamb. Previously I wanted to read med n surg but due to the poor background I had in chemistry and then chose civil engineer over med. But recently, I don't think I can offer the civil engineer, so I registered microbiology but still battling within me about that chemistry. Please, for those of you that have gone into the uni, pls, in microbiology, is chemistry needed that much because I'm confident about biology but chemistry is far far from the corner.
