Well, from all indication he doesn't know how to handle fame, more reason Elizabeth has tried on several occasions advising him to get an education but he (Peller) ain't having it because he's got money now. From my own opinion the proposal/engagement came too early and I don't think Elizabeth is comfortable/happy/ready for it, guess it's her first time being proposed to. Maybe that's why she accepted it, reality will soon set in.

I feel Peller is afraid of someone snatching her from him and I don't think he can bear the thought of it.
He's still young and his hormonal reactions are taking full control of his emotions.

6. He is afraid of losing Jarvis to another guy, more reason he had to engage her so she won't sway off with another guy.

Well, I wish them the best, I feel its too early for them both. They should take a cue from Emmanuella and Success, both are also child actors like them and ain't rushed to get engaged or talking about marriage. Let's see how everything unfolds...
