Am in this position right now, I've been waiting for thei r email, my Uni enrolment begins on 15th of Sept. I've applied for visa since 30th of July, I've even done paid enquiry, I was told to keep expecting it, I messaged home office directly using their sheffield.student email address, I was told that they can only escalate it after 12 weeks.

Imagine this people. Sometimes I wonder how many days it take to make a decision. I actually understand that if you get your visa earlier, your case is being handled by junior caseworker but those ukvi tend to send "unable to make a decision" to.... always have their case handled by senior caseworker for reviewing.

This people didn't even look my side at all... I just feel lost right now. I don check reddit tire, still pple wey dey wait plenty small.

I even contact my bank to ask if ukvi has reached out to them, bank staff told me they haven't received any message from ukvi concerning my statement. Just imagine since more than 30 days ago.

I pray God help me out IJN and everybody in this kind of scenario as me IJN

Ireland has done quite well of late with the tax income from U.S companies flowing in. It's increasingly an option for consultants as the barrier to entry is less. However, I don't think many UK born folks would be keen to move to a country that have seen hell at the hands of the British. For we wey be 9ja, we don't care.
Knew a psychiatrist who had an offer there in the region of 250k Euro in Ireland. While preparing for the move, the Canadians asked for 'help' and he sent an unfortunately response to the Irish. In less than 3months, I was looking at the houses he was considering buying and was impressed. Ultimately, the UK is good but its not the only option.

Good experience so far, not even touched on the clinical side.

They have what is called a 'meet and greet' - before one takes on a person as a patient, both parties meet and decide if they want to work together. I always find it odd when after I tell folks I'm ok to be your doc, they happily say thank you for having me as a patient.. like say na exam.

In the UK, was frequently on home visits during my lunchtime. Reception staff were frequently arguing with folks who demand home visits but can somehow find their way to the pub/saloon. For Cana- it's never been a consideration. Never done one and even if I do, na plenty thank you and appropriate bill go follow am.
Lots of free work one did in the UK is paid e.g letters, prescription refill... are paid for

Another frequent question is folks who worriedly ask, how long would you be here? When I enquire more, they narrate how their old doc left after say 6months prompting them to change. I tell them, I'm happy so far and not planning to move but can't predict the future. Afterall, na 6 yrs I dey for UK and something similar for 9ja.

Last one is folks that ask- why Canada? I tell them I moved to explore- life is for living. Then explain how I considered remaining in the UK vs moving to Ireland, Aussie, NZ or Canada.
Someone looked sadly and said, hmmm wasn't happy he had never left Canada.

All said, so far, so good. We hope for the best.

According to both of them ,she started kissing him & he responded.. one thing led to another, & They had sex ..No struggles,no forcing ,no shouting everything took place with the Consent of COURTNEY.. few hours later , they both left the room , she still met the Landlord again down stairs & Promised to Visit more often ..On his way driving her back to her house, the phone he was using for Navigation went off ,COURTNEY brought out her own phone, as he was fixing the phone on the Phone holder ,he was driving slowly & police pulled them over .. Only for This Girl to Changed the Whole story .. Even the Landlord came to testify in court that - He honestly didn't see any sign of Rape as the Lady left his house in a Happy mood ... All d Cctv evidences were NOT played in Court ,His phone was seized & not released to him till date , She admitted she told him some lies including her real age ..When she was asked why she didn't walk away when they were having sexual discussion & she didn't like ,She responded that - She played along ? Played along for something U didn't like ? Played along she didn't get down from d car when she had to get down ? Played along when she used his toilet downstairs & went upstairs to Join him in d room withoutbeen Forced Uk laws does not favour the men ,& it's worse for Immigrants.. She was Not raped ,she consented to it and changed d whole story Later ..]

Once you get that Msc, it puts you on a pathway that would offer several opportunities. I got my skilled worker visa before graduation because of my background and work history in Psychology and I have moved on to the public sector, now clinically working for a London borough.

There are so many of them, just make sure their Msc Psychology (conversion) webpage, has it written that the course is accredited by the British Psychological Society, so that upon completion of the course, you will also be granted the Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) and become eligible to work as an Assistant Psychologist in the UK.

By the way, what did you study for your undergraduate degree.?
