Hello house I bought strong decoder srt4950, the installer put two lnb on the same dish. That is Amos and joy but majority of the channels are scrambled channels. How do I get better stations there especially sports, geo wild, and CNN ? abeg help.

When you have Aljazeera, BBC, France24, DW, VOA, and other news channels on that 16/17e.
Well if you must 'Oliver Twist', ITV & two of those Kenyan Channels use to join CNN late @ night and early in the morning. Enjoy.

House please how do I verify an LNBF is O.K. or faulty?
I ve been tracking with this LNBF and no sign of green,having tried various sat. positions am suspecting the LNBF may be faulty since there is no other lnbf at the moment to use and check, Am now asking if its possible to find out using the signal strength and the signal quality.

To all the gurus and every forumite who can,
Pls help explain this weird experience I encountered on Saturday.
I use a 90cm dish for Astra 2f @28e which I normally move a little downwards and
a little to the left while standing at the back of my dish to get Eutelsat 36 @36e.
or a little upwards and a bit to the right to get Amos 5/16e still using 28e as a base.

Now the confusion started when I got a twin Lnbf and tried to nail Astra 2f @28e with one and Amos 5/16e with the other.
I tracked Astra 2f with the primary Lnb, the second Lnbf which on top of (North of) the primary while tilting it to the right hoping to get amos 5/16e or 9e or 7e using corresponding tps. I hit green in one of them and when I scanned, I got DS*V channels i.e. 36e I was totally confused as my expectation is that 36e should be South of 28e which am used to when moving the whole dish manually.

Efforts to locate the other sats was abortive so I put the tracking on hold till I get adequate explanation.

Bros guide me on how to track that ses5 pls, am not a pro, but I've been able to nail dstv, multitv and amos5. A hint on how to move the dish from Amos 5 position and the best tracking to will be helpful.

Before a transaction is consummated, there should be a meeting of the mind as regards to the product or service to be rendered: the brand, model, quality, size, quantity, mode & cost of delivery to mention but few, all these put together will impact on the final selling price. When the transaction is not face to face, it is very easy for the seller (in particular) to breach the conditions especially when full payment is made upfront.
In this instance, 3 conditions are involved: Size, quality and mode and cost of delivery.
Lets start from the agreement prior to the payment, and I ask
1, Was Ogojohn not aware his client was negotiating for a brand new 1.2m eurostar dish?
2, Is N7,000.00 a fair price for a brand new 1.2m dish in Onitsha?
3, Did Ogojohn ask for additional N1000 for waybill?

Ogojohn should be responding to Q, 1 and 3 while everyone esp those in Onitsha shld contribute to no 2.

While you are responding,
let me quickly point out that people Ogojohn sent similar dish to is irrelevant here as a defence b/c we dont know the terms & conditions those transactions were consumated and cannot determine by word of mouth even if the clients testify unless there is a solid evidence.
In this particular transaction, the dish in question is not lost in transit- It can be measured by a third party(a professional in the field) to determine the actuall size which is in contention now, from the pics it is evident that its not brand new which Ogojohn is not denying.
Before my recommendations the onus is on Ogojohn to clear His name from this evidently fraudulent charges and not just calling it a falsehood.
