You are not required to book any travel before you apply or before a decision is made on your application. You’ll only be refunded if we have not started processing your application.

We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents.

And what's the hope of getting Visa?

I received a similar mail 2 days after sending a paid
mail and I got my visa 1 week later .

Please is there a trick to getting great ticket prices this period. The prices are so high.

Mine took 9 weeks, I would say just prepare your mind for 3 month grace period. It might be shorter.

Concluded application 16th August. (Visit visa)
Just picked up the passport.

my mum finally got her passport today after waiting for almost 9 weeks.
Biometric was done on the 15 June 2022.
