Standard UK visitor visas are currently taking longer than usual to be processed due to high global demand. You should bear this in mind when making travel arrangements. UKVI are working hard to process applications as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience.
You will be contacted by the Visa Application Centre (VAC) when your passport is ready for collection. Do not attend the VAC until you have been invited to do so.
You are not required to book any travel before you apply or before a decision is made on your application. You’ll only be refunded if we have not started processing your application.
We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents.

And what's the hope of getting Visa? I received a similar mail 2 days after sending a paid mail and I got my visa 1 week later . |

Please is there a trick to getting great ticket prices this period. The prices are so high. |

Please, what is the average processing time for the UK visitor visa lately. Mine took 9 weeks, I would say just prepare your mind for 3 month grace period. It might be shorter. |

6 months Visa,
my mum finally got her passport today after waiting for almost 9 weeks.
Biometric was done on the 15 June 2022.
Pick Email 16 Aug 2022 Same as me just got collection mail today |
