they av not release any cutoff for this year yet, but u have more than minimum requirement for last year cutoff. there might no be much diff btw last layer cutofff and the one to be released. knowing someone make things easier for u but u have to meet the minimum cutoff anyway before anybody can do anything to help. just hold-on and pray that a favorable cutoff be released . wishin u all the best

@ikotunf, i've confirmed and now know biology is not necessary to study G&C. i was loooking at it from the point of psychology before, which required biology. however i've calculated ur scores and its 50.9
that is not bad a score as the cutoff last year was 62.9, 52.0,50.8 for merit, locality and ELDS respectly

another good thing about been invited for interactive session is more than 95% of people that are invited for interactive session normally get admitted as the aim of the exercise is nt to disqualify candidate. But to check if the results presented by candidate is actually done by such candidate.
Disqualificatn only occour if candidate Bleep up to the last point cos only simple questions are asked.

And at dat point of interactive session where run can be posible, u did nt even need one. Cos at dt point u're already admitted

it mite intrest u to know why UI is using 60% ssce and 40%.

aside the conventional reason that most people who got admitted to UI wit high JAMB scores don't end up being the best in their class and some ended up being a victim of STUNAMI. Which explains that most jamb are nt written by claimer of such jamb resuls then.

Anoda important reasons is dat UI staff children who are often a graduate of ISI normaly bost of excellent results which can earn them admission to UI with out stress on the platform of 60% ssce. What UI profs did is, they bent the rule of the game to their side, since they are nt ready to do WAYO and they will not compromise UI's standard and transperency.
So the trend for those children is staff sch to ISI to UI and which as being workn fine for them.

but i must tell u things is diff in UI.

UI will release cutoff point before sellection of addmitted candidate, ui will even go as far as pasting each addmited candidate cutoff againt his/her names( that was wht college of medcine did when i got addmitted what beta transperency did u require) which will make it difficult for any candidate who did nt score d required point to be listed cos such name will be queried by anybody that sees it.

i believe dis is not done in other schs

the best WAYO that could be done in UI is using ELDS cutofff for people that is nt from ELDS area, which is still an official cutoff anyway.

forget any other WAYO and ignore anybody that promise such cos it will nt work.

im sori to tell u dat connection does nt work in UI. That is why u will see some profs sending their children or wards to private university cos they can't meet up wit the addmission requirment and UI will nt compromise on her transperency.

u will point all five relevant o'level subjects to ur course, sum them and multiply by 2.
say someone have 5A1s in phy, chem, bio, eng, maths.
the sum of all that will give u 6+6+6+6+6=30
30points multiply2=60point.
which make the total obtainable point for o'level to be 60point and which form the 60% of the overall point

the utme result will be divided by 10
say Mr Eshin had 400/400 in utme
his utme point will be 400 divided by10 =40
this form the 40 % of the total point

adding o'level and utme points we have 100point
