The Edo State Governor, Mr G.O Obaseki, visited the Motorsport Raceway Track Facility on Thursday 15th June, 2017 & promised to partner with the Motorcycle Sports Club of Nigeria (MSCN) to build an International Standard Race Track Facility. Thank you Your Excellency!

He went too fast into the corners and got sandbagged! To get out of the sand and get sandbagged again and again is why he lost so much time. Anybody can drive fast on a straight. Can you handle speed in the corners? There lies the difference between racing and driving. |

Evbuobanosa, Near Abudu, Benin Asaba Expressway, Edo State. It is approximately 20 minutes drive (30km) from the Benin Bypass on the Benin Asaba Expressway. Evbuobanosa is also where the LightHouse Polytechnic is situated. You can't miss their signboard to the right as you enter the village. At a point where there is high mounted bike between the dual lanes along the expressway, the track is in the direction the bike is facing. There is an untarred road opposite the bike that leads you to the track. If coming in a car, go another 500m and enter through the Abudu Pump Station Road. You will notice the green signboards at the junction. Facing Asaba, the road is to your right. Enter the road. It is tarred. Along the road, you will see a signboard (RoadX) directing you to the track.

There is already such a venue. Starts January 12th 2017. Launching at Easter 2017. A dirt track for now but give us 2 years and we will have it in asphalt. We will also keep the dirt track in place though. In another part of the circuit. Motorsport, superbikes and cars, and a race series in both categories and on both surfaces is the plan. www.roadxnigeria.com and www.superbikenigeria.com are resource for our drive for motorsport in Nigeria. 1 Like |
