Bayelsa is the least populated state in Nigeria. I heard that some local government areas in Lagos is bigger than that state. Alimosho lga is more populated than yanagoa and ikeja is six times wealthier than the whole of Bayelsa state despite the oil.

Bayelsa remains a tiny state with 8 LGA and have produced the president and vice President, yet is as good as one LGA in Kogi state.
I suggest the state be merged with Rivers since they can't offset their overhead.
Even their son that was president went there and removed clock and calendar in Aso Rock, that make him to forget how time flies and the urgency in lifting his state.
That's all I remember about Bayelsa.

Wasn't here on nl about last week that the abual/odual people officially pulled out the IYC citing that they are a different group of people? Your IYC stated clearly in their constitution that any group doesn't need to be indigenously Ijaw before they can join them. This effectively makes IYC a franchise and not a group meant for only indigenously Ijaws.
You must stop lying before the internet is there for all to us and see the fact for what it is.
Only 4 lgas are wholly Ijaws in Bayelsa. The rest they share with other language groups namely the Cross River languages (Ogbia is the largest of them), the edoid, the Igboid and entirely different ones.
If you quote me, endeavour to present a published work from non-Ijaws to back your claims. I'll provide my own proofs from published works for all to see.
Sometimes I see you all calling Obolo people of Andoni as Ijaws. The effontery is sickening.
Obolo people share nothing with Ijaws. There origin has been traced to East of Akwa Ibom state and it reflects in the language. I have proofs to my claims and will post it if you argue my claims. The lies you guys have been feeding others over the years have come to an end.

Epie and Attisa, the major ethnic group inhabiting Yenegoa, the state capital are not Ijaws.
Epie Towns include Igbogene, Yenezue-gene, Yenezue-Epie, Akenfa, Agudama, Opolo, Kpansia-Epie, Amarata, Azikoro Village Etc.
Ogbia, the ethnic group of Goodluck Jonathan is more related to Kalabari.
The towns of Ogbia are imiringi, otuosega, otuoke, otuabaga.
Ijaws are mostly Kolokuma-Opokuma, Southern Ijaw, Brass, Sagbama.
Note, I have lived in Bayelsa state, I have first hand information.
