So far, has paying them, reps and senators huge sums for their own selfish services paid off Nigeria. Please support something different from the way it has always been... Be sincere, we havnt benefited from the way things have been handled by these highly paid and powerful individuals. Funny thing is that we empower them and then they treat us like slaves and subordinates..yet we idolize them and still wish they continue such lifestyle...
Mind you I support no party nor any individual... I support only my country!!!! And what these 'big' people have turned this country into is very sad and shameful

Personally, this is the best news and reform I have heard since inception of this admin. I have always believed that once we can 'de-moneytize' our politics and adopt very strict anti-corruption measures to tackle those not contented, we will grow.
Once we run a country that those in politics:
1: are paid the exact amount that others collect at d same level in civil service with very little chance of getting more,
2: if those found corrupt are quickly jailed for life with ALL their properties seized and immediately used to support the suffering masses,
3: if the federal and state govt really have the support of the masses and not just their reps saying whatever they please.
These will ensure that being in politics makes u poorly paid than if you are in your own biz, dangerous and risky if you are a fraud and makes you very accountable for your actions or inactions while in office and out of it.... Then ONLY those that truly want to serve will willingly submit themselves for such a risky hard task.

I have two points,
1. Am yet to be convinced that masturbation is unhealthy. However there may be side effects such as tiredness, back pain, sore/sensitive organ, low sperm count(if not given enough time to refill), possible infection if dirty wipes are used, seclusion; it may deprive you of the benefit of seeking social life; self pity and selfcenteredness and it makes you fantasize more than is necessary. The last two are of course more physiological than physical and finally if you are religious it can leave you with a high level of guilt which might hinder your prayers.

2. Masturbation can be used to train ones longevity during actual sex, masturbation can help maintain sexual faithfulness to partners, is a safer introduction to sex than actual sex, Masturbation also aides people practicing abstinence, reduces number of heartbreaks when actually all you want is sexual pleasure and finally it is cheap...no need for lie, girls, money or even porn.


For me until you are able to control your urges, it is the better option and it only takes 1 person.

With this points I have made,I will take it that masturbation causes
harm to a human body. So masturbation should be avoided
except if only to be used for medical purposes.

I have serious problem with these disadvantages:
No 1: completely false as there isn't any mention of the act as a sin in the bible...the man guilty of sumtin simiilar was punished because he did it outta wickedness. However, the spirit of God would bear witness with your spirit and condemn the act WHEN HE SEES IT AS SIN. So NO!! It isn't always sin...e.g. If a couple would do IVF or sorrogacy to bear children, masturbation cannot be avoided...or for very long distance marriages where contact is very limited, masturbation during phone intimacy WITH THE SPOUSE may be permitted!!
No 2: is very subjective as it is only excessive masturbation that may cause this!!! Even sef, for those who ejaculate early, self control exercises achievable only during masturbation are recommended for such person to train his body and brain how to last longer in a woman
No3: guy!!! Haba!!! Wetin concern veins and attractiveness of the penishuh? Mind you, attractive penis isn't really relevant to the opposite sex!!!
No5: haha!!! How did you come about this conclusion? The more testosterone secreted during sex or masturbation or even exercise or fantasy, the more the production and nourishment of the sperm
No7: this is partly true as I have earlier said that masturbation can be useful in training your body on how to prevent premature ejaculation

Let me clearly state that Masturbation has its pros and cons of a truth and may not always be a sin!!! However, this post is filled with loads of inconsistencies, this born outta my medical qualification!!!! Start off with the advantages posted:
No 3 is completely wrng as there is no medical basis for a man to have too much SEMEN and not sperm. Nobody has ever been sick bc of too much semen. The physiology of human body will clear any excesses produced anywhere, including the so-called sperm!!!
No4: how is this advantageous Don't really understand how sha!
No 6: this is partly true...however this act shortens a person's threshold for sex and increases the risk of seeking any willing opposite gender for intercourse.

Other points are mostly true...one of the reasons I said that masturbation isn't always a sin is the point raised in No 11.

To be honest, I'm so fed up with all the bad image we project. So sad that we are now tagged terrorists and frauds...both high and low from this country drag our name in the mud and give us repulsive reputation.

Quite agreeable viewpoint. However dnt forget that som of these pastors hav their own businesses that have been blessed and some of the things they own are gifts or seeds meant only for them.
Also some of them have made so great investments in numerous lives that it would be unlike God to bless them and surround them with people that will abundantly bless them. When they were suffering and still investing in lives, nobody knew nor cared...
All I'm saying is that YES!! Some of our pastors deserve God's immediate rain of fire but some truly have worked so much that it will be impossible for God not to open the heavens on them for the rest of their lives... So we should be careful not to judge
