Religion / African Atheists Deceives Themselves. See Reasons. by divinemichael(m): 12:36pm On Nov 18, 2020
Atheism is what we refer to as absolute disbelief in the existence of God or other gods..

In far away Nordic countries , and countries in America particularly the US, not excluding the faraway China of Asia, atheism has already gotten a vibrant recognition and has gradually become a humunguos force to reckon with.

These are industrilised societies who by their misguided notions and beliefs, assumes the immateriality of God because science predicated upon human reason and observation is far more consequential and valid than religion to their haughty minds.

They are deluded in their thoughts and philosophies, because they staunchly believe rule-adherent human logic and hypothesis are always without exception, answers to everything.

But the most hoodwinked and disillusioned set of atheists are found in Africa, African atheists are people who have heard, seen or even experienced substantially God's miraculous works and still believe that God or no god's exists.

The professor of philosophy in the streets of Lancaster England ,will quickly dismiss the spiritual travails of the African man in rural settlement as mere superstition and prescientific phenomena, but the average African man knows and understands what he sees, feels and observes everyday within his spiritually war-filled villainous environment.

African atheists are psychologically disoriented set of people who profess atheism in times of tranquility and or peace but readily do not know when the call for God's help slip out their tongues in times of crisis.

African atheists are depressed hardened individuals who have turned their heart against the love of Christ, not necessarily because they have found rational or evidence-based truth to invalidate the existence of God, but simply because they must have witnessed much chapters of accidents or sorrowful events in their lives that they conclude a God must not exist.

African atheists are hypocritical minds, always seeking to rationalize their own deceit, for they say in academic platforms; a God or gods do not exist! at the same time they are absorbed in ecophobia, and are always dreadful or terrified with the road leading to their hometowns because they fear their lives will be nipped in the bud by some old men presumed to have dark powers.

The proselytizers of atheism in Africa ought to be mentally examined and as well berated or castigated for their obvious self-condemnation, for they hear, see and witness in churches, caged lives are made loose, the blind receive their sight, the lame begin to walk, the broken heart is mended and the damaged organs are made whole, all in the mighty name of Jesus our conquistador.
Yet they simply say all these are products of mere chances, and are staged-mqnaged to appear real.

Woe unto the devotees of African atheism for prophecies and spiritual declarations have one time or the other came to their household and they saw to its manifestations, but yet they are misled by the theories and writings of the whites to believe there exists no God.

the African perspective of life originally has been hinged on the spiritual facts and works, to renege on this principle and accept that life came from nothing and is ultimately nothing devoid of spiritual realms amounts to self-decimation..

Atheism is only but a long tunnel with no light at the end, those who pay heed to its doctrines sinneth against their mind.

Education / See The Most Fearless Animal In The World (photo) by divinemichael(m): 7:00pm On Nov 15, 2020
Well weirldy enough, the most fearless is not the famous lion, tiger or the notorious hyenas as you may have presumed.

Instead The honey badger has many times been rated as the most fearless and courageous animal of all time.

This may sound bizzarre incredible or even crazy to think and believe that a little animal like the honey badger is the most fearless, but many investigations and research by notable platforms like BBC animals, national geographic and wild Africa, has always come up with the verifiable claim that the honey badger is the most fearless animal of all.

Size is not a problem for this animal, it possesses the requisite speed, brute, strength and most importantly the resolve to face any predator and survive.

The honey badger has strong claws and sturdy legs,The honey badger is notorious for its strength, ferocity and toughness. It is known to savagely and fearlessly attack almost any other species when escape is impossible, reportedly even repelling much larger predators such as lion and hyena. Bee stings, porcupine quills, and animal bites rarely penetrate their skin.

. If zebras or buffalos intrude upon a honey badger's burrow, it will attack them fiercely.

In 2018 a peculiar honey badger in Africa reportedly survived consecutive hard attacks from lions, hyenas and other lethal predators like leopards and cheetahs.

while a honey badger can not survive a pride of lions or an ambush of tigers but surely it is ever ready to take on one lion or one tiger and never lose its life.

The most significant secret of the honey badger lies in its natural mental build-up and resilience, and this instigates it to act instinctively with much force and zeal to parry out any form of attacks even from giant reptiles..

You're free to research more about honey badgers and continue to stun your cognition about them, because they are wonderful despite their lilliputian size.

Education / Is Paleoanthropology A Branch Of Science That Disprove Religion With Evidence? by divinemichael(m): 12:54am On Nov 13, 2020
Paleoanthropology is a field of study concerned with the scientific study of ancient human remains.

The issue of ancient humans and the evidence of their fossil records, was before only a scientific issue but with increase in Christianity and the popularization of creationism as the answer to the origin of man(Adam & eve), paleoanthropology has also become a burning issue in religion and theology.

It all started from the connoisseur Charles Darwin and his accomplice Eugen dubois, who sought to decapitate the biblical provisions on the origin of man, they asserted, they opined, they theorised and they also claimed, but worst for religion they proved many of their positions which came in total conflict with religious notions.

One troublesome position for normal believers and scientist who are as well believers has been the conundrum of reconciling the creationist story of Adam/Eve, believed to be the first known homo sapiens versys the fossil records(skeletal remains) of ancient humans such as homo erectus, homo hilderbengensis, homo habilis and the closest to humans which existed some years ago in europe, by name neanderthals.
This ancient humans are believed to have lived to an extent like modern day humans, had families, buried their loved ones, hunted for meals, had copulation, reproduced and did some rituals.

In Africa, when you gather up students to enlighten them on paleoanthropology, they quickly dismiss such lectures as the white man's delusion and myth, they hardly concur to the evidence-based assertions that certain ancient humans existed before we the modern humans.

And that is how deep, complacent ignorance has ridden the African mindset, whereas there are in many paleoanthropological museums in America, fossil records of this creatures which stands as an axiomatic proof that they did existed, though extinct now.

The critical questions relevant for consideration are now, as follows

1) how do we reconcile the book of genesis with the fossil records of ancient humans that is presumed to have lived millions of years ago before modern humans.

2) what about the prehistoric men who wrote on caves and made use of sign languages, due to being in deficit of civilization and proper language communication?
Are they not supposed to be descendants of Adam and Eve which God created perfectly with communication skills and culture innate.
When then, did they suddenly diverge from the genealogy and lost their sense of civilization and started acting instinctively like semi-underdeveloped animals?

3) the Bible begins with God created Adam and Eve first, why does the Bible say nothing about ancient humans, despite the plethora of evidences which scientist has themselves discovered today?

4) are the fossil records of ancient humans not proof for the propositions of the great Charles Darwin?

5) is it possible, the ancient humans like homo erectus and homo habilis had souls and were capable of being raptured too?

Disclaimer!

Education / Re: Errors In Reasoning That We Commit Everyday! (logic101) by divinemichael(m): 11:39am On Nov 10, 2020
sinkhole:
OP, please I need clarification at the bolded:
Saying a suckling knows. . .! Is that not a fallacy?
Suckling knows extremely little, e.g., if somebody drank a poison in the presence of a suckling and died and the same poison is given to the suckling to drink, the suckling will drink it because the suckling does not know the meaning of cause and effect and most likely suckling does not know that "a deadly thing can kill"!
I think the bolded should fall under the fallacy of hasty generalisation.

Whether a suckling knows that whatever that is deadly can kill, must at best be construed or understood from a figurative point of view, to mean that the truth is glaring and speaks for it self, thus needs no defence. But in reality we need not construe the phrase literally, because an infant of 1 or 2 years knows nothing, aside the breast-milk he or she is consistently obsessed with.
Education / Errors In Reasoning That We Commit Everyday! (logic101) by divinemichael(m): 12:30am On Nov 10, 2020
Errors in reasoning we commit.

1) argumentum ad populum- this fallacy is also known as appeal to popularity, we commit this fallacy when we believe something to be true in the absence of evidences, because it is widely held to be true by a majority of people Eg I believe barrack Obama is affiliated to the Illuminati because many people in Nigeria believe so.

2) argumentum ad mesericodiam- this fallacy is also known as appeal to pity, this fallacy is commited when we try to substitute facts for emotional or sentimental notions. Eg even though Kennedy commited murder, he shouldn't be sentenced to death because he is just a poor orphan... Remember in the play (bigger Thomas) Barr borix max attempted to save bigger Thomas by arguing fallaciously that Thomas was a product of a dysfunctional society which should be taken as the stimulus for his villainous act of murder.

3) argumentum ad vericondiam- this fallacy is also known as appeal to irrelevant authority, we commit this fallacy when we attempt to invoke an authority in a wrong or misplaced field. Eg I believe the theory of themodynamics is false because prof wole Soyinka said so. Note, while prof wole Soyinka is indeed a great intellectual of literary studies, any attempt to invoke him as an authority in physics, for or against a concept especially a critical and troublesome one like themodynamics, will amount to a fallacy.

4) argumentum ad ignorantiam - also known as appeal to ignorance, this fallacy is commited when one argues from ignorance, a person believes a concept to be true because there is no available evidence denying its validity. Vice versa Eg because there is no evidence showing this woman is innocent, therefore she must be guilty.

5) argumentum ad hominem (abusive precisely)- also known as " against the man" this fallacy is commited when reasonable arguments are substituted for claims against a person, here the core matter in an issue is neglected whilst the party to the issue is attacked. Eg I believe okonkwo stole this goats even if there are no evidences, because he is a bad man, he beats his wife, smokes all the time and is also an infamous gambler.

6) fallacy of composition- this fallacy is commited when we believe q trait or notion which applies to a specific thing or person must as well apply to other related things or persons. Eg I know Mr okafor, he is an ibo man and is very stingy, greedy and unhelpful, therefore all ibos must be like him.

7) if by whiskey fallacy- this fallacy is commited when we employ the use of words which appear equally appealing to two warring ideas or parties. Eg instead of going straight to the point to say Mr A was wrong and is to blame, people commit the if-by-whiskey fallacy by saying Mr A was wrong, but Mr B was somehow wrong too. Thereby creating an unnecessary balanced apportionment of blame.

coolbegging the question- here the conclusion of an argument is presented in support of itself in a premise (e.g.: saying that smoking cigarettes is deadly because cigarettes can kill you. Note even a suckling knows that whatever that is deadly can kill, so the asserter of this proposition made no proof at all of how cigarette can kill, he should have said something like it damages the liver, it destroys the lungs etc as a proof for it capability to kill.

9) fallacy of hasty generalisation- this fallacy is commited when we base a broad report on a little or insignificant investigation. Eg because I went to badagry and saw too many insane persons walking about, therefore Lagos must be filled with too many insane people who walks about.

10) appeal to poverty.. also known as (argumentum ad Lazarum) –this fallacy is committed when we support a conclusion because the arguer is poor eg in a land dispute between a rich man and a poor man, everybody not well trained in rational thinking like lawyers will likely believe all the poor man is saying is true and the land likely belongs to him, because is a common notion that rich men are always inclined to seize lands from the poor unjustly.

Religion / Why Are Top Nigerian Pentecostal Pastors Not Modest Like Jesus by divinemichael(m): 6:04pm On Sep 06, 2020
As a Christian, sometime am lost in the dilemma of the facts that many pentecostal men of God are catalyst for spiritual enlightenment and as well, epitomes of financial extravagance.

The number of exotic cars, private jets, and chic wears which belong to the following pastors indeed raises a questionable presumption.
1) pastor adeboye
2) pastor David ibiyeomie
3) pastor kumuyi
4) pastor David oyedepo etc

Although many of them are active in humanitarianism, but it still appears ungodly to flaunt wealth as though it was a standard or parameter for the facilitation of the gospel.

When Jesus walked the earth many thousand years ago, he was thoroughly obsessed with strategies on how to expedite the gospels, he neither sought means to get thousands of chariot, nor did he compel thousands of his devotees to give money to him in the name of the ecclesiastical message from heaven.

Even the missionaries who transported the Christian Abrahamic religion to subsaharan Africa never was infatuated with wealth, neither did they ever flaunt wealth unnecessarily.

Today in Nigeria, pentecostal pastors blatantly flaunt their members-grown wealth and even aver to acquire more, not minding the fact that copious amounts of its members in the village-settings are deep-rooted in their seemingly unmitigated state of squalor and poverty.

However my question remains, since these are perilous times and the end is nigh, why are pentecostal clergymen still fixated with acquiring mammoth amount of wealth, and never do they ponder on the virtue of modesty, much more of practising it, like our spiritual conquistador Jesus Christ ?

Religion / Re: A Wicked World From A Good God by divinemichael(m): 2:39pm On Nov 24, 2019
Ignorance speaks, fools listen...
Is only faith, the opium of religion that logically incapacitates a man from sound reasoning and the bent to ask critical questions.. jesusjnr
Religion / A Wicked World From A Good God by divinemichael(m): 2:08pm On Nov 24, 2019
Sometimes I wonder how God sits on his throne watching, amidst the sheer wickedness on earth, and I ask, is he really happy innocent people are being killed? Is he really pleased a 6year old starves to death? Is he really satisfied a family of seven loses their lives in a motor accident? Is he really contented with the way the earth is been run is such a way that calamity, pains and sufferings is the handbag of a good amount of humans?
*****When one try to construe from a theological outlook, all we see is that, the earth was supposed to be good, it was Adam and eve that orchestrated the evil that befalls every man now!
*****When ask critical questions, they dub you a rationalist.
******I still haven't find a justification why the earth created by a good God is so toxic for humans to live, why will under the dictate of a loving father, the descendants are allowed to suffer for the sins of the forefathers?
How does it look in the sway of God that many struggle for years without boom until they plummet into their graves.
How does it seem for a caring father that many who were innocent and good suddenly chose to be averse to being good because from the way his universe is structured, is obvious being good is fastly becoming an impediment to success!
If not for the miracles seen everyday in television from some men of God I may conceive to be genuine, one would without penitence hurriedly conclude that no God exist.
But since this good God exist, why is his philosophy and attitude so incomprehensible that its very nature now puts humanity in peril.
An analogy of the world we live today vis-a-vis God is like a mother who locks his children inside a house and refuses to open, while the younger weak ones are being beaten and disconcerted by the grown-up powerful ones!
When asked why, she says her ways are mysterious and incomprehensible nonetheless for the good of all children inside the dire house.
Having scrutinized all these cogitations, I ask my self, undoubtedly God exist, yes, but is he really a good caring God?
Undoubtedly he exists, yes ,but has he abandoned the world he created?
Should we take our destinies in our own hand and fight for survival in this cruel world or should we rather fold our hands in resignation and fate till death?

Politics / The True Picture Of Nigeria....(fact) by divinemichael(m): 10:14pm On Mar 21, 2018
1) Nigeria, a country where meritocracy is relegated for nepotism, which is popularly referred to as "man know", it could be felt everywhere, especially at the employment sector...
2) Nigeria, a country where election is seen as a platform for the extermination and vindictiveness of political opponents, which can be felt mostly at the grass root level
3) Nigeria, a country where delinquency and corrupt-driven attitudes is seen as a norm rather than an aberration... which is popularly referred to as "setting your compass well"
4) Nigeria, a country where jungle justice and public execution is perceived to be a deterrence rather than an uncivilized act.
5) Nigeria, a country where public officials, out of exploitation and embezzlement enrich their own coffers with no empathy for the masses who facilitated their incumbency in such positions....
6) Nigeria, a country where the so called legislators go home with millions per month, but never strive to enact laws which might placate or alleviate the plights of the populace....
7) Nigeria, a country where the hausa-fulanis as an ethnic faction, seem to be so hegemonic and predominant, even to the detriment of others and nothing is done....
cool Nigeria, a country where the political leaders tag elections to be a veritable tool to only garner supports and votes and later leave the citizens in reckless abandon... 9) Nigeria, a country where respect for due processes and observance to protocol is ascribed to be stagnancy and ingenuousness. 10) Nigeria, a country where money hoarding and nontransparent financial activities is considered to be inescapable amongst the elites in the corridors of power......

Education / 5 Key Factors To Consider In 2018/2019 Jamb! by divinemichael(m): 9:11pm On Jan 23, 2018
5 indispensable factors to consider while applying for jamb 2018

1 TRANSPARENCY= when i mean transparency i mean being unbiased and just in any admission process as a university, and contrarily, so many public universities are incessantly bent on exploiting their candidates academically via diverse ways such as, releasing few batches of admission lists, eviction of names from the admission list, and hiking of departmental cutoff marks,so while choosing a university, try to apply to the ones that are a bit transparent eg, UNN,UNIPORT etc
2 CACHMENT AREA= so many jambites have been oblivious of this concept over the years which have been sometime inimical to their admission tendency, so dont make a mistake to apply to any university that doesent encompass your state of origin as it's cachment area, because it will destabiliz ur edge over other aspirants!
3 COMPETITION= they say all that gliters is not gold, which unarguably connotes the fact that the eminence and sweetsounding names of varsities like UI,UNILAG,UNN etc, doesent necessarily mean they are easy or less strenuous to gain admission into, so i beseech you to apply to less-competitive universities.
4 TUITION FEES= so many public universities are metaphorically chameleons, because they tend to take the appellation of a public university but nevertheless they have financial policies tantamount to private universities, they always require a colossal amount of money, and some of them even require school fees per-semester so one need to know his onions and conform to his or her financial capability!
5 INTENSIVE PREPARATION= so many candidates are lurked on the horns of dillema on the examination day due to trivial or insignificant preparations ahead of jamb. As a cliche or adage states that he who fails to plan, plans to fail,so it is synonymous to an examination of like nature of jamb, factually there is no more time, one need to relegate everyother thing and explicitly focus on the relevant task ahead, which is jamb! THANKYOU.
