Romance / Re: She Has Gone Worst by divinemichael(m): 2:38pm On Aug 12, 2022
If you want to ruin a strong man. Don't attack his head, for his years of experience and knowledge might counter it.
The only way to ruin a man is through his heart. Where his emotions resides. Which is why the Bible says we should guard our hearts.

Many great men are ruined because of the inability to rationally make right decisions even when the situation is glaring, all because they are clouded by emotions.
I've been in this situation before, it is like lovingly holding on to a roseflower with lots of thorns. You must find a way to extricate yourself to avoid a greater evil.

The temporary pain of the separation will be less, compared to the future regrets you will be in later if you still hold on.

It's your choice to make

Religion / Everything That Happens Is Not The Will Of God by divinemichael(m): 11:10am On Jul 10, 2022
EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IS NOT THE WILL OF GOD.

Three thousand persons died from mudslide in Mexico, two thousand kids died from Farmine in Sudan, four thousand kids died from the Rwandan genocide, seven thousand from the Biafran war and lastly, Deborah Samuel lynched and incinerated beyond recognition.
The critical question that pulps in, has been asked for ages; where is the all good and omnipotent God amidst all these pains and suffering?
Note; the traditional way of answering and escaping this trilemmatic question has been giving numerously, in this manner,thus;
whatever that happens, is the will of God, we cannot question him, and there must be a greater purpose for it.
At surface point, this may appear reasonable to consolably accept our fate and praise God in all situations. While praising God in all situations may be reasonable, alluding the cause of all situations to God is unreasonable, theologically incorrect and biblically faulty.
Our minds have been induced to traditionally believe that all that happens is within the will of God, and this false presumption is first attributed to Job, who during his travails, out of desperation and frustration concluded that God was somehow behind the chain of causation. (Job 1:21 & Job 2:10)
But one must ask himself, to what end or greater purpose is it than saving the lives of three thounsand kids from the cold hands of death?

Jesus's teaching as a case study

The teachings and interpretations of Jesus Christ who is consubstantially one with God, contravenes the notion that all events proceeds from the father.
Jesus proclaimed and expounded the true belief that heaven wages war against, rather than somehow in a way, support oppression, death, famine, pain and suffering of any sort.

Note; in the book of Luke, when Jesus saw the woman with back pain for 18 years, he said the woman has been under the influence of the devil but it was time to let her free whether or not it was the Sabbath day, he did not say it was the will of the father that she should suffer.

Note; when Jesus told the parable of the sower, on the issue of who sowed the weed when the sower went away? He answered, the enemy has done this.
(Matthew 13:28)

Note; when Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, he said pray like this "our father let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven". (Matthew 6:10)
"the implication of this is that God's will is not yet been carried out on earth as it should"

Note; the book of John teaches that there is no darkness at all in God for he is good, and the new testament generally makes us to understand, that the god of this world is the devil, who is out to kill, steal and destroy, but God is out to give life abundantly. ( 1 John 1:5) ( 2 Corinthians 4:4) (John 10:10)

Note; when Jesus saw the man born blind from birth, he said it was neither because of his sins nor that of his parents, but that the works of God be made manifest. (John 9)
( the work of God here is in his liberation, and not his affliction) because God is not an orchestrator of suffering.

The Freewill omnipotence argument

Omnipotence grammatically means power beyond bounds, that is to say that God possesses power to do as he pleases. While this is grammatically correct, the grammatical implication cannot apply to the Abrahamic God.

This is because the Abrahamic God, though omnipotent, is bound by principles which cannot be broken, and one of such is that he cannot consistently interrupt the freewill which he has given to man. ( Joshua 24:15) ( Galatians 5:13)
(Genesis 2:16-17)

There's no gainsaying that Freewill given to man by God is a limitation in someway to the power of God, this is because God cannot do for man what he has assigned to man to do for himself.
In fact the Bible notes that Jesus stands at the heart of everyone willing to enter if only we will let him. In otherwords he cannot force himself in.
(Revelations 3:20)

With respect to the issue of evil, freewill has a significant bearing which we oftentime overlook and fastly rest lazily, on the pillow of the false traditional saying that "everything is the will of God".

If we observe meticulously, more than 95 percent of the evil and suffering has a sufficient element of freewill attached.

Note: on the suffering of a million unpaid pensioneers, lies beneath the chain of causation, the malicious decision of a greedy politician.
Note; on the suffering of Deborah Samuel, lies beneath the chain of causation, the unbridled enthusiasm of bloodthirsty ignorant Muslims.
Note; on the suffering of an accident victim, lies beneath the chain of causation, the recklessness of a hit and run driver. Etc
Everyone of them will be held accountable by God for their actions.

To put the efficacy of freewill into context, take for instance, a scenario where a man raped a ten year old girl to death, it will be wrong to quickly assert that if God didn't want it so, it won't have happened.
Look, behind every action whether good or bad, lies a connection of deep thoughts and actual preparation towards that act, the man who committed such evil must have sat down to think whether to do it or not, he must have heard the voice of the Holy spirit trying to purge and dissuade his mind from committing such acts, but he succumbed to the devil's.
At that point he was in a situation where God was trying wage war, but he decided to use his freewill against the law of God rather than uphold God's word, on the other hand, we cannot fail to admit that there are situations where we intended to do something terrible but later changed our minds after hearing a corrective voice deep down. That voice is God's.
If all things were the will of God, one must force himself to logically wonder why God should on the last day hold the rapist responsible when it was his will after all that he should rape the minor to death.
The truth of the matter is that, freewill presuposes responsibility, without giving us freewill to choose between good and bad, God has no right to attach responsibility to our actions.
(Ecclesiastes 12:14)
It is because he has given us power to choose, that is why he can judge us, if we have been predetermined like robots to act out a script according to his will, then it will be tantamount to divine victimisation to send certain persons to hell when you predetermined them to act that way.
The implication of this, is that man's freewill is so powerful that it can and has been disrupting the will of God.
Now let's take a biblical account as an example, God told Abraham that he will bear a son whom he shall call Isaac and he shall be the symbol of the covenant.
Abraham ran out of patience and by his own freewill, took his maid and later bore Ishmael. That was totally contrary to Godswill, in consequence of that, when Abraham pleaded to God to make Ishmael the symbol of the covenant, God refused, saying that Isaac remains the chosen one. But because he is a merciful God he agreed to give a little blessing to Ishmael so he will not go empty handed.
( Genesis 17:18-21)
Another scenario to look at, was when Israel requested for a king and God instructed Samuel to annoint Saul, but later the Bible recorded that God was angry with Saul because he departed from his will and chose a wayward path for himself which brought him a disastrous end. Such end was not God's will for Saul, the Bible notes that God's will is that everyone should come to him and be blessed. (1 Samuel 15:11)
(2 Peter 3:9)

Another scenario to look out is that recorded in the early times during the days of Noah, when men were extremely wicked and lived a pervert life, the Bible recorded that God regretted creating man. (Genesis 6:6)
Note; while some authors argue that God's regret is not really like human regret and is merely anthropomorphism and not true to say that he regretted.
However in my own view, any reasonable person would wonder why God consequently destroyed the world with flood and wiped out that lawless generation if he really did not regret creating them.

We may lastly look at the situation of David and Beersheba, by David's own lust and freewill not God's will, he orchestrated the death of Uriah and married his wife Beersheba, who then bore a son for him, God clearly stated that such act displeased him. And consequently that child did not live, so also did David pay for his own freewill.
(2 Samuel 11:24-27) (2 Samuel 12:9-12)

On the other hand, there are several Bible verses where God allowed man to act out his freewill and choose for himself his fate, and eventually men did not disrupt his good will but aligned to it. For instance God instructed Jonah to go preach to the people of Nineveh to repent or be destroyed, they hackened to God's word and was saved. Now compare this to that of Noah, where the people blatantly refused and met their Waterloo. (Jonah 3:1-10) (Genesis 6)
Is it not blind and unreasonable to say both scenarios were thoroughly the will of God? When men whom God has given freewill chose for themselves to do good or not and received accordingly the consequences thereof.

In conclusion, we must purge ourselves of this traditional but false notion that all that happens, whether good or evil is the will of God, because the assumption unequivocally warrants the irrational belief that God and Satan is one and the same, or perhaps that both are working in some sort of compromising unanimity.

we should learn to take responsibility for our actions, learn to wage war against evil with God and strive to make this world a better place with our freewill.

Religion / If Jesus Christ Was God, Why Did He Find Fault With Some Old Testament Laws? by divinemichael(m): 11:01pm On Jun 23, 2022
Note; I don't misunderstand the trinity, I clearly understand that Christ is God in the sense that he is one of the trinity, and consubstantial with God and is infact God's word, and thus God.
My question is how come he gave laws to Moses, and later came to earth to find fault in some of those same laws? Isn't that inconsistent?

Uprightness100:
Definitely! It will backfire on the EU sanctions and will give Putin and Russia the upper hand. But this is what I see happening in the coming days/ months.

I see a Scenario where Most of EU and others go do Israel's Gas tho not directly from Israel. As of yesterday, I heard Egypt is now going to buy Much of Israel has and would sell to Europe.

I Believe in times to come this will anger Russia/Putin and will make him to make a move towards Israel. Which is the Ezekiel 38& 39 GogMagog War.

I Believe, Israel gas and resources is the Hook GOD ALMIGHTY will use to hook Russia down to Israel. Because what we are witnessing happening to Ukraine is quite similar to what will happen to Israel.

The same manner you the Nations do to Ukraine is the same that will happen to Israel. No one will help Israel. They will be almost annihilated but the GOD of Israel will Come down and Crush all the Collation of Nations.

Religion / Where Is God In The Midst Of Pain, Suffering And Death? by divinemichael(m): 4:07pm On Nov 14, 2021
We are too limited to fault God!
I had read stories about the recent building collapse, in a social media platform, someone had repudiated the validity of prayer, trying to fault God,purporting that he saved some persons while he left others to die in anguish.

While it is true that any one other than an atheist, who miraculously survives a fatal incident will most likely attribute it to God whether or not there is any valid causal connection, it is fallacious to assume that God is responsible for those who unfortunately couldn't survive.

Firstly we need to understand that when it comes to pain, suffering and death, there are many variables that we human cannot thoroughly understand, it is only when we're privileged to grapple with the big picture that we can be able to pronounce a conclusion as to whether God exists or not, or as to whether prayers are useless or not.

In the legal jurisprudence, for every matter that heads to the court. Conclusions are not just drawn up on one point of view, because the honourable court understands there are many issues or variables to be considered. Eg a bystander who sees a man inflicting injury on a girl until the girl dies, will easily conclude that the man must be responsible and must pay with his life and any verdict short of that is injustice. But it could be that the man had not deliberately taken the life of the girl, it could be that a malicious third party had laced his drink with an overpowering drug which then upsetted his mental state and uncontrollably leading to the murder. Under our criminal code, by section 29(2). A person who commits an offence under the state of intoxication caused by the malicious act of a third party, can not be held guilty.

Secondly, I will give another scenario, a friend of mine had a father who took unjustly from the coffers of others. He enriched himself at the expense of others, later on they came for him spiritually, their intent was to kill him, they orchestrated a stroke and he was bedridden for almost a year. Luckily, revelations came since the wife was a believer. The revelation was simple with solutions, the pastor directed the wife to tell her husband, to make reparations or restitutions for his deeds and he will be well, but the husband even on his deathbed refused on the basis of human pride, and consequently died.

The above actual story is very important, because any of you may for instance be a friend to that man, perhaps he is good to you and helps your family, you may be praying vehemently that God should heal him, and when he eventually did die, you may by depression be forced to conclude that prayer is useless or that God does not exist. But in fact you had not seen the big picture.

Take another instance, of a promising young man, who labels himself as a freethinker, about to get married to a lady who has been looking for a man to marry and finally one is here, she is elated and praising God. Maybe a prophecy comes, and the man is asked to be prayerful that the enemies are not happy because he is excelling, and now wants to settle down. He quickly dismisses such claims as being superstitious, and consequently dies from a brief illness, in such an instance, if the man never told the lady about the revelation, the lady may begin to think prayer is useless, God does not care, for how many years she's waited to get married, why now. Etc but in fact she is not seeing the big picture.

Also we must note that death is as well a natural phenomena and does have some natural implications attached to it. If a building collapses, naturally a person with asthma or a person hypertensive or an infant, naturally has less likelihood of survival than a full grown man.

Lastly, coming from a theo-philosophical dimension, it is totally wrong and against the new testament principles and tenets of Christ teachings, to accept and absorb the popular belief that whatever happens, good or bad is the will of God. The disastrous implication of this belief is the subtle fusion of God and the devil. God as supremely manifested in the person of Christ is good and there is no evil in him, the devil for ages has intrinsically been evil and remains evil, there is no good in him, it is impossible for a person not to be and be at the same time, otherwise is against the fundamental principles of noncontradiction, therefore God can only be good. The Bible teaches that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour. The ministry of Jesus Christ espouses on the concept of warfare theodicy, when Christ healed the woman who had been with back pain for 17 years, unlike popular belief, he did not say it is the will of God that the woman should suffer these while, he said the woman has been under the influence of the devil and must be healed today. Daniel prayed for days and got no answer because the prince persia had intercepted his supplications. When Christ taught the disciples how to pray, he said pray to the father, that his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The implication of this is that the universe is engulfed in a cosmic battle under which there is a consistent conflict between the will of God, that of man and the devil.

Pain, suffering and death may also result from one's own wrong freewill, if a man is told to build a bulwark against the raging hurricane about to hit the city and he pockets the money to his own selfish end, when the hurricane finally hits, people will die, and it will be clueless to say it is the will of God, all that is consequential is that one day everyone will account for his or her actions before God, including a person's whose exercise of free will led to the pain, suffering and death of others. This pivot is critical because freewill is the basis of responsibility, and without freewill there is no responsibility, and it is because God has given us free will to do good or bad, to kill or to save, to feed or to starve, that is why he has the moral authority to hold us accountable for our actions one day. To assume without qualifications that all that happens is the will of God, is to confuse omniscience with causality and at worst to fuse virtue with vice in the person of God and the devil.

God as manifested in the person of Christ longs for a day when there will be no more pain, suffering and death, when crying and mourning shall cease and the righteous reign of Christ shall ensue. See revelations 21.
Prayer is useful, God exists and one day everything will get better. Amen.
Religion / Did God Really Hate Esau For No Reason? by divinemichael(m): 11:38am On Mar 07, 2021
Esau have I hated, Jacob have I loved.
Romans 9-13.

Whenever I stumbled on this verse years ago, I was like hey, could it be possible that God hates me too for no reason, is God not partial? What did Esau do?
These mind boggling questions creep into our minds when we read Romans 9 and try to meditate on it, although verse 14 goes on to say God is not partial, however to the rational mind, that's simply a blatant yet to be justified inconsistency.
The reading of Romans 9 has one wrong conventional form of interpretation, and that's the deterministic view, it holds that since God is totally omnipotent, he may choose without warrant whomever he chooses to love and hate whomever he chooses to hate!
I must opine, this seems really weird and incompatible with the impartial and loving nature of God as evidenced in Christ Jesus.
Why the deterministic reading of Romans 9 helps a bit, it however does more devastation than good.
I must therefore posit that in order to read and understand the true implication and import of Romans 9-13 one must consider three variables, firstly the meaning and effect of the person of Jesus Christ in relation to the verse, secondly the possible historical-grammatical effect of the said verse, and thirdly the last meeting of Esau and Jacob.

In line with the first variable, Dr Greg Boyd, says because the revelation of God in Christ is the most genuine and superior revelation of God in the history of humanity, therefore we ought not to qualify or bend it to suit any notion it appears averse to.

I totally agree with the learned professor, because in the person of Jesus Christ we find a God who is love, a God who dines with sinners, a God who does not condemn but rather redeems, a God who loves and prays for his enemies rather than hate and smite them.
The book of John 1 provides a patent proof for Jesus's divinity for he is the word of God and the same as God who came down in flesh to redeem humanity, hence the meaning of the name "Emmanuel" meaning God is with us!
It becomes therefore crystal clear that in light of Jesus Christ, the claim that God hated Esau becomes barren, unpersuasive and too impossible not to reject.

Secondly should be the history and grammatical effect of the then environment in which the said verse was written.
Originally it is found in Malachi 1, an era and span of history in which the meaning of words today definitely does differ.
The word ``hate `` and'' love" in the traditional Hebrew language then, did not imply an intense or flagrant emotion, rather it entailed a preference in which a sharp contrast could be drawn. Eg I prefer cheese to ice cream does not necessarily mean I abhor ice-cream.
Jesus Christ himself in the books of luke made such use of preferential words, when he said " whoever that does not hate his family, brother and sisters, can not be my disciple" in the real sense he only meant preference, and not necessarily that you should abhor or despise your family because you seek the kingdom of God.

In relation to the last variable, I can validly assert that only a person with a short or blinkered knowledge of the story of Esau and Jacob can falsely conclude that God hated Esau for no just cause. Genesis 33 whether we like it or not smacks of one the most historic reconciliation recorded in the Bible, you could imagine after all the turmoil, hate and bitterness, Esau and Jacob still made amends, exchanged gifts, blessed and forgave each other. So in relation to the endpoint of this account, what can we then surmise of Romans 9-13? Perhaps the verse is barren and or has been subject to malicious misinterpretation.

Obsession about titles of God will not aid you in anyway, but studying deep to understand the implication of such title will help you..

Alpha and omega which means beginning and end does not imply that God has omnisciently known or chosen somepersons to go to hell or heaven, but it means he is the beginning and end, which unequivocally assures us of eschatological manifestation of his power. Because at the end he will save the faithful..
God has given us freewill and that is one thing he respects. when we use it inconsistently with what he desires he feels bad, just as in Sodom and Gomorrah. Just as in the prior destruction of the world.. God's knowledgable purpose for creating the world at first was not to destroy it with water.. that was not in anyway pre-determined. If the people had by virtue of their freewill lived a good life, he would not have wiped them out. Open theism entails that the future is partly open and settled, not all future occurrences are settled. It all depends on God's will and the freewill of men. Simple.

Is a god that is not truly omniscient truly deserving of worship then? That's a sorry excuse of a god.

If you were told that God is fair in complexion, and someone says God has no complexion.. you will also say, is a God not fair in complexion truly deserving of worship?

If you understand my apology well, I did not try to distort the omniscience of God, I only argued to give a detailed definition of omniscience with practical examples from the scripturea .which correctly differs from the classical fallacious one given to the church by Aristotle.

I had often times came across atheistic ideas summarised in sentences such as, "God is the devil because he knows everything therefore he is the originator of everything both good and bad".. while this claim may be logically persuasive, it is not necessarily true.

In this apology and theological explanation, I wish to as of first instance demystify the meaning of omniscience, the word omniscience from a conventional point of view may simply entail the capacity to know everything, however this definition has often been subject to distinct and even conflicting interpretations, for instance the calvinist theologians believe God's omniscience is absolute, thus he knows all thing, now, before and the ones to come even 10,000 years from now..

While this view seems magnifying, i must humbly submit that it is not true, even if this is the classical view of God as expounded by st Augustine and aristotelean philosophy.

This is so because, a believer of this pattern of omniscience must as well swallow the bitter pill proposed by misotheists, that a God who knows everything with fixed certainty must as well be the orchestrator of all which he knows, be it good, bad or terrible..

On this footing I submit that God's omniscience entail a future consisting of both possibilities and certainties.. for instance God sometimes, knows by 2025, Mr Davidson will be tempted to sin or not, he knows if Mr Davidson sins he will fall out of grace, he also knows that if Mr Davidson does not sin he will remain in grace and abound... Thus he does not all times with certainty precisely know all that will come to manifestation, instead he sometime allows men's freewill to take place.

I submit once more that if God knows with certainty at all time, precisely all that will come to manifestation in the lives of men, then men has fundamentally been reduced to mere robotic entities with no self-determining freewill, therefore we can wrongly surmise that God, knows a man will be born today, will die tomorrow and will as well make hell the next few years..

It is critical to note that if the conclusion of the last paragraph is true, then men no longer has freewill to choose between good and bad, and at the same time God assumes also the role of the devil, by assigning and instigating men to perdition, leaving him dormant..

If the conclusions are also to be taken as true, it must be objected to, because the bible unmistakably teaches that God's ultimate object for everyman is to come to salvation, also the most popular verse in the book of John says. Whoever believes in him(Christ"God"wink will not perish but have eternal life.. thus it appears that our freewill has an important role to play, thereby making it impossible that God has omnisciently known or chosen those for eternal condemnation or salvation.

In conclusion, it must be noted that this theological view referred to as "OPEN THEISM" is not in anyway heretical, although it has stomached much of criticisms and disparages from men who trail all walks of life..

In the next paragraph I wish to argue biblically and provide instances where it appeared blatantly that God had an open and not settled view of this future..

Eg in **exodus 32-14** it is reported that God changed his mind, and he did not destroy the people of Israel which he had wanted to destroy.
**1 Samuel 15-11** God stated without equivocation that he was sorry that he made Saul king, for he(Saul)has turned from good to evil ways.
**Jeremiah 18-7 to 9** God said If he has said that he will destroy and uproot a nation and that nation turn away from evil and embrace good, he will no longer destroy that nation. Vice versa.
**Jeremiah 26-19** is also to the effect that God changed his mind, after he said he will take the life Hezekiah, he Hezekiah prayed and it was overturned by God, and he God gave him more years to stay.
**Genesis 6-6** and God regretted that he made man, for their ways was too wicked.

Also somewhere in the old testament, after Abraham raised his hand to slaughter his only son, God ordered him to stop, and said ** Abraham now I know that you fear and love me**
Such was a critical point in time where God was put on wait for the freewill which he gave to man to manifest. When he realised Abraham's freewill was to go inconsistent with his will, he ordered Abraham to stop.

In conclusion, although classical theism claims God is immutable, immanent, and imtemporal, it must be noted that God though he does not change from being good, he still changes his mind in certain instances and is affected by man's freedom in one way or another..

In defence of OPEN THEISM.

Hello @all

In other not to bore u all with long talks I will be brief.

I left secondary sch in 2016 and ever since I've been trying my luck to get in pharmacy school.

I've written jamb four times, over the years I've applied

Delsu, Abu, Delsu, and Udus

I don't consider myself as a brilliant student but I am above average.

Although I am currently studying S.L.T but i am not and never satisfied with the course.. infact I don't even pay attention in class and I hardly attend class all I think of is pharmacy

it's affecting my life.. now I don't even Know how to proceed with my life.

Mods pls I need your help

I understand your plight,man.
I was once in a similar situation, three years no admission, I always wanted to study law, but I had to start in the department of mass communication at a polytechnic, I wrote jamb from there and now am studying law at unizik 200level. The issue is that from your claims, you don't pay attention and hardly attends SLT class, that's really bad if I would submit. Whilst a masscommunication student, I was keen on the course, though it was at the back of my mind I didn't belong there, but I still enjoyed and appreciated the course for its professional nature. From there I learnt alot, my mental horizon widened, and it aided me smashed my jamb unlike before. My jamb score was 279, I knew unizik will admit me. If your issue has been a lower jamb score, you need to focus in class, read effectively, study past questions and believe. You will be there in Christ name... Amen.

jesusjnr2020:
John 1:1-3 (KJV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

That meeting in the beginning was a meeting of the highest order of heaven. It involved the Three in one Person.

The Father, the Word (which later became flesh in Jesus) and the Spirit.

The Word and Spirit belongs to the Father and They were both instrumental in the Work He did in the beginning. The Word came out of His Mouth, and the Spirit performed the Word.

So when God said let Us make man in our Own image, the "Us" referred to Word and the Spirit which He used to make the things He made in the beginning.

He also used "let us" in the Instance of the tower of babel, where the one language of the world was divided. It involved the same Word and the Spirit which He used to make things in the beginning, hence after the same Word was made flesh, and was multiplied after His death, and the Spirit of God performed the Word that had multiplied, they were able to speak in the one language that was divided because of the tower of Babel when God used the term, "let Us" as He did in the beginning.

God doesn't consult with the angels concerning any plans He has, He just makes decisions and gives them instructions to carry out. The angels weren't involved in the making of things in the beginning so God couldn't have been talking them but those involved which was His Word and His Spirit.

God bless.

Jesus jnr2020, I think your level of biblical competence is remarkable, I believe all you said, for it is not only detailed but as well eye-opening. Thanks alot.. the Jehovah witnesses are misguided in their notions, and the Muslims I believe got it all wrong from their foundational principle.
Jesus is God, and God is Jesus. I believe, I love God ... Amen.

Religion / Who Was God Referring To, When He Said Come Let's Make Man In Our Own Image? by divinemichael(m): 12:20pm On Dec 01, 2020
I ask this question, because of the teachings of certain sects and religious groups, such as Islam who claims Christ was just a prophet, the Jehovah witness who claim Christ is angel michael, and some other groups who try to discredit and deny the divinity and preexistence of Christ.

I presume God's statement (come lets make man in our own image) in the book of "Genesis" was directed to Christ and possibly the holy spirit which is a proof for the doctrine of trinity...

Anyway if there's a contrary probative opinion with cogent evidences, am ready to learn and be corrected.

You ended up beating about the bush..

The long epistle you wrote here has no substance.

You say I did beat about the bush, because you choose to be logical than spiritual.. the simple truth is that there is no partiality with God.. the Calvinists who believes in predestination often use Romans 9-15 as a defence that God has chosen somepersons for eternal commendation while others for condemnation. And that's totally wrong..
God will have mercy on those who have accepted his son, and will harden his heart upon those who chose not to believe after several warning..

That's the real and genuine interpretation. Any other one purports God to be naturally onesided, which is false..
Religion / Romans 9-15 The Most Misinterpreted Bible Verse. ( See True Interpretation) by divinemichael(m): 5:49pm On Nov 21, 2020
Romans 9- 15
I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I WILL HAVE AND I WILL HARDEN MY HEART FOR WHOM I WILL HARDEN!

This Bible verse has indeed caused much schism and has gradually become a burning question in the Christendom.

However we must guard our tongues and hearts from suggestive or opinIon based conclusions drawn from human reasoning and logic.

A literal analysis of the said bible verse smacks of a possible distinction, preference and ultimately, bias, on the side of God.. this is the position always taken by so many atheist debaters and some misled believers.

Diving into the scriptures we all know that COLLOSIANS 3-11 is to the effect that there is no discrimination in Christ, no Jews no gentiles no free borns no slaves no savages no barbarian, as well I can add, no white and no black.. for we are all one and Christ binds us together in love.

I was speaking to a group of persons, they said if Mr X and Mr Y is involved in a car crash and the former survives while the latter dies, that simply exemplifies the book of Romans 9 because grace differs.

Note: while their argument seems intelligible to the human mind, it as well connotes inherent biblical ignorance with a little touch of the wrong Calvinist doctrine of predestination.

For they ignored all related information both obvious and hidden, but instead judged based on the bare facts available to their human cognition.

they may have not known whether the one who survived is a core believer who prays and commits his ways to God,they may not also know even if maybe both are sinners, that mthe former perhaps is still been called by God and still has more time while the latter who lost his life has already dissipated his time with rebellion and unbelief, they may not know whether the one who lost his life is not prayerful and has been cut off by his enemies, they may not know if the one who dead is a saint and has been taken by God.

In their arguments They attributed their claim to the now widespread fallacy of unequal grace, as well they cherrypicked the instances to fit into their assumptions.

But, the truth must be told, grace does not differ, it all depends on how much and how far we have tapped into the grace given to us by God, that's why it seems as though men like TB Joshua and oyedepo are extra-ordinary, it doesn't imply God loves them more than you, thus, he has showered them with more grace than you.. no,that's a human doctrine from the pit of hell.

God's grace is sufficient for all, it all depends on how far and much we tap and key into it.. men like oyedepo, kumuyi and tb Joshua has keyed in and has remained consistent and sacrificial.. you can do better..

The concept of grace has so been distorted by Africans that God almost appear biased or partial when the concept of grace is invoked.. eg some one will say, I know two men, they went for a job, one got it one lost it.. it therefore implies that God has given more grace to the one who got the job..

No, such an assumption is wrong and totally misleading, the grace of God is originally predicated upon Jesus Christ coming into the world to salvage everyone who believes and professes his lordship, there is no partiality with God, it all depends on many factors..

Are you seeking what God wants you to seek?

God may want mr A to seek a driving job and Mr B to seek a teaching job, but when Mr B seeks a driving job and gets rejected, it doesn't mean God's grace upon his life is smaller compared to that of Mr A.

The book of Romans 8-1 says there is therefore no condemnation for all those who are in Christ Jesus..

God will show mercy to those who seeks his face, those who worship him, those whom he is not finished with, those who do not rebel for long from his words, those who key in into his plans for them and lastly those who have embraced Christ..etc

And he will harden his heart upon the wicked ones, the corrupt minds, those who lust after the desires of earth, those who profane his holy name, those who do not turn from their evil after several warnings..etc
