She too was slim and beautiful. Years of marriage and matronly life had blossomed her to what she was.

At forty-two and married for over thirteen years, Funmi had certainly gone through a lot of transformations, from the attractive, slim gal to plump, though attractive woman. She had three children, the eldest being thirteen. She and Biyi had come a long way.

She stood up from the bed and went to the adjoining bathroom and toilet. There was a giant mirror there. She stared at her reflection. She was still beautiful, she decided. The problem was the plumpness.

Could it be that Biyi was losing interest in her because of her being fat? He had not really complained that she was on the fat side, but that wouldn't mean he was still besotted to her looks, as he used to be.

Maybe she should try to slim down and go back to the attractive, slim lady she was before her marriage. Maybe that would make him stop the affairs he was having outside and he would look inward again.

But why did men behave that way? Why must he turn against fidelity, all because his wife had become fat? Why couldn't he remain faithful to his wife, whether she remained slim or had grown fat? Was the marriage not supposed to be for better or for worse; in slimness or in fatness?

She climbed the weighing scale. The device read 92 kilograms. Gosh, that was on the heavy side. She was almost the double of her weight as a maiden. She was heavy now, no doubt, and she must do something about it.
She would have to watch her diet, first and foremost. All those fatty food, those fried chickens and calories must be cut down. Then, she would buy some exercise kits to get a better shape.

That very afternoon, Funmi went to buy some keep-fit kits, including a stationary bike. It was to show how serious she was. She was determined more than ever to bring the old Funmi back.

The plane hovered in the sky. It was time for landing. His seat belts, like the other passengers, were fastened. Biyi awaited the landing and the disembarkation. It had been another successful trip and he thanked God for it.

'Thank you for your patronage, sir. We look forward to seeing you on the next flight.' The soft voice of the air hostess - the one that had served him during the Jos-Lagos flight - said, as he moved to the exit of the plane.

Biyi nodded and smiled at her. Outside the plane, the hot air hit his face as he descended the disembarkation ladder. Biyi moved swiftly towards the arrival hall, his brief case clutched in his right hand.

Tony, his personal assistant who had been standing by and waiting for him in the last half hour, came to meet him.

'You're welcome, sir.' Tony curtsied. 'I hope you had a nice flight, sir.' 'Thanks, Tony. How are you?'

'Fine, sir.'

Tony relieved him of the briefcase and led him outside the building to the car park. Leke, the driver who loitered around the park, quickly went to the car and stepped inside it as he saw them approaching.

'You're welcome, oga,.' Leke made an obeisance and showed his near brownish teeth in a smile.

As usual, there was a boom in his over the line. Even from afar, one could discern his bohemian nature.

'Hello.' Her response was cool and distant.

'How are you? You don't sound excited.'

'I'm not. I'm not happy either.'

'What happened?'

'It's your wife. Why didn't you tell me you are married to a wrestling champion?'

'What d'you mean, a wrestling champion? What happened?'

She paused briefly. 'If you know what my eyes see today, you'll feel sorry for me. She trailed me to the shopping plaza at Maryland. As soon as I came out after shopping, she accosted me. In a twinkle of an eye, she pounced on me. She slapped me and tore my top and bra. In full public glare, your wife really embarrassed and ridiculed me.'

He was surprised. 'Unbelievable! You mean she did all that to you?'

'Yes. With a threat to do worse if I don't leave you alone.'

'Ehn, ehn. It's unbelievable that Funmi would do that.'

'She really spoilt my day today.'

'I'm sorry to hear that. Please just take everything cool. By tomorrow, I'll be back in Lagos. I promise you I'll do something about it.'

That was what she wanted to hear. 'Yes o. Please, do something.'

When Funmi got to the house, she went upstairs to her room. The large bedroom was big enough to have lounging chairs and a big flat screen. She used to share the place with her husband before, but in the last one year or so, he had opted to have his own separate bedroom.

She dropped her bag on the bed and flopped on it. She sighed to herself as she went over the encounter with Nancy in her mind. Funmi had got to know about her through Leke, her husband's driver.

With money as the inducement, Leke had revealed the latest catch of his boss, her name, the residence and some other personal details of Nancy.

That very Saturday morning, Funmi had instructed her own driver to take her to Nancy's house for a show down. Funmi's car was just parking by the gate, when the gate was opened wide and Nancy drove out. Funmi was sure Nancy was the one behind the wheel as the face matched the pictures she had been given.

She had asked Turo to go after the car. They trailed the car to the Maryland plaza. Funmi decided to bid her time and to accost Nancy only after the latter had bought what she wanted to buy.

They had not waited for too long. With her eyes glued to the exit of the plaza, she saw Nancy as she jauntily moved to her car.

Despite the fact that she now put on sunglasses, Funmi was sure she was the one. The latter had gone to her parked car. With no time to waste, Funmi had moved towards the Toyota car.

Funmi sighed again and brought her phone out. She flipped to the pictures and stared at Nancy's photos. The lady looked slim and beautiful. This was the lady (or was she one of the ladies?) distracting Biyi.

Funmi looked closely at the lady again, as she had done several times before. Nancy should be in her early thirties. Funmi tried to go back the memory lane when she was about Nancy's age.

She very was slim and beautiful. Years of marriage and matronly life had blossomed her to what she was.

It was a trophy now, proof of how uncivil Biyi’s wife could be.

Confidence seeped back into her bones with every piece of fresh fabric. But her mind was a storm, replaying the ugly scene at the plaza. If Biyi’s wife thought she could intimidate her into backing off, she was gravely mistaken.

Nancy remembered the first time she met Biyi—months ago at a bustling fashion show. Both were guests among Lagos’s glitterati. Biyi, a titan in the hotel and tourism world, was a name that commanded respect. Nancy had been thrilled to meet him, introducing herself as a blogger with a sharp eye for entertainment.

Their conversation had flowed easy, natural. He asked for her number—and true to his word, he called the very next day. The invitation came—lunch at a sleek, high-end restaurant. That was how their story began.

She had agreed without hesitation—and just like that, their affair took root and flourished. Biyi was generous beyond words. Designer clothes arrived like clockwork, each one more extravagant than the last. And then there was the brand-new Toyota he gifted her, a gleaming symbol of his affection—and power.

Nancy had hugged him tightly the day she received the keys, whispering, You’re the best lover in the world. And he was—charming, attentive, intoxicating.

Biyi was always on the move—business trips stretching across Nigeria, the West African sub-region, even continents away. Once, he whisked her away to Port Harcourt, where they stayed nearly a week, lost in luxury and secrecy. The same indulgence followed in Abuja and Abidjan. Rumor had it the next destination might be Dubai, and Nancy’s heart leapt at the thought.

She was living the dream, savoring every moment. Until his wife emerged as a ruthless obstacle, a thorn she hadn’t seen coming. There was no way Nancy would be intimidated.

Right now, Biyi was away from Lagos. Two days ago, he’d called to say he was heading to Jos—hundreds of kilometers away. Nancy’s fingers trembled as she dialed his number.

“Hello, my dear,” his voice boomed through the line, rich with that unmistakable bohemian charm.

“Hello,” she answered coolly, the warmth stripped away.

“How are you? You don’t sound excited.”

“I’m not,” she admitted. “I’m not happy either.”

"Cheating Does Not Pay":

Emeka and Ada had been married for five years, and their relationship had been solid. However, Emeka's job required him to travel frequently, and it was during one of these trips that he met Nneoma, a charming and attractive colleague.

Emeka found himself drawn to Nneoma's charms, and they began a secret affair. He convinced himself that it was just a physical attraction and that his marriage to Ada was strong enough to withstand it.

Meanwhile, Ada sensed that something was amiss. She noticed changes in Emeka's behavior, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what it was. She tried to brush it off, thinking that she was just being paranoid.

However, as time went on, Emeka's affair with Nneoma became more frequent and reckless. He started to neglect his responsibilities, both at work and at home. Ada's suspicions grew stronger, and she began to investigate.

One day, Ada received a cryptic message from an unknown number. It was a photo of Emeka and Nneoma together, with a caption that read: "He's mine now." Ada's world was shattered. She confronted Emeka, who initially denied everything.

But the evidence was overwhelming, and Emeka eventually confessed. Ada was devastated, but she knew she had to make a decision. She chose to forgive Emeka, but only if he ended the affair and worked on rebuilding their relationship.

Emeka realized that cheating had cost him nearly everything. He had risked losing the love and trust of his wife, his family, and his reputation. He was determined to make amends and work on rebuilding his marriage.

In the end, Emeka learned a valuable lesson: cheating does not pay. The temporary thrill of an affair was not worth the pain and damage it caused to those he loved. He and Ada worked through their issues, and their marriage emerged stronger and more resilient.

The story serves as a reminder that honesty, communication, and trust are essential components of any successful relationship. Cheating may seem tempting, but the consequences can be devastating.

Worshipping Jesus Leads to a Righteous and Right Life

Worshipping Jesus is not just an act of reverence or religious duty; it is a transformative relationship that shapes every area of a person’s life. At its core, worship is about aligning the heart, mind, and actions with the will of God revealed in Jesus Christ. When one worships Jesus sincerely—acknowledging Him as Savior, Lord, and the embodiment of truth—this worship becomes the foundation of a righteous and right life.

1. Jesus as the Source of Righteousness

Scripture teaches that righteousness is not something we achieve on our own, but something we receive through faith in Jesus Christ. As Paul wrote in Philippians 3:9, righteousness comes “through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.” Worshipping Jesus involves trusting in His perfect life, sacrificial death, and resurrection, which makes us right with God. This righteousness is not merely legal standing; it becomes the moral compass of the believer’s life.

2. Transforming the Heart and Mind

When we worship Jesus, we are regularly brought into the presence of truth, grace, and love. This encounter renews the mind and softens the heart. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Worship reshapes our values, desires, and priorities, leading us to pursue what is good, pure, and pleasing to God. A right life flows from a renewed mind.

3. Walking in His Ways

Jesus is not only the object of worship; He is also our example. To worship Him is to imitate Him—to love as He loved, to serve as He served, to speak truth and walk in humility. Worship drives obedience, not out of fear, but from love. As Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commands” (John 14:15). A righteous life is the natural outcome of a heart that delights in Jesus and seeks to reflect His character.

4. Strength to Resist Sin

Worship also empowers the believer to resist sin. When our hearts are captivated by Jesus, the pull of temptation loses much of its power. We are less likely to chase after what the world offers because we’ve found something—and Someone—greater. Worship redirects our affection and loyalty toward what truly satisfies.

5. Bearing Fruit for God’s Kingdom

A life centered on Jesus produces fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23). These are not just private virtues; they overflow into relationships, decisions, and how one impacts the world. Worshipping Jesus leads not only to personal righteousness but to a life that is right—life as God intended it to be, full of purpose and eternal significance.

---

Conclusion

To worship Jesus is to surrender to His lordship, trust in His righteousness, and walk in His ways. This worship is not confined to Sunday mornings or sacred spaces; it is a daily offering of our lives to Him. And as we fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), we are shaped into His likeness—living lives that are righteous before God and right in how we treat others. Worshipping Jesus is not the end of the journey—it’s the path to becoming who we were always meant to be.

Heavenly Father,
Today is a blessed day for me, in Jesus’ name.
I thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in my lungs, and the strength in my body.
Thank You for waking me up this morning with purpose and peace in my heart.

I declare that this day is filled with favor, grace, and divine opportunities.
Let every step I take be ordered by You, Lord.
Let Your light shine upon me and through me in all that I do.
I walk in confidence, knowing that You go before me and surround me with Your love.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
I am covered by the blood of Jesus, and I stand firm in faith, knowing that victory is mine.
Bless the work of my hands, the words of my mouth, and the thoughts of my heart.
Let this day bring glory to Your name and joy to my spirit.

- THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING

1. There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Saviour above.

CHORUS:
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need;
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.

2. There shall be showers of blessing:
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.

3. There shall be showers of blessing:
Send them upon us, Oh Lord!
Grant to us now a refreshing;
Come and now honour Thy Word.

4. There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now, as to God, we're confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!

Jesus: The Supplier of All Needs

In a world full of uncertainty, lack, and ever-changing circumstances, many hearts cry out for provision—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Yet, for those who look to Jesus, there is a steady, unchanging truth: He is the supplier of all needs. Not just some, not only the visible or immediate, but all.

The Bread of Life

Jesus declared in John 6:35, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” This is not merely about physical food and drink; it’s about the deeper hunger of the soul. In Him, we find nourishment that lasts—truth, hope, peace, and joy that the world cannot offer.

Provider in Times of Lack

When the crowd was hungry, Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish to feed thousands (Matthew 14:13–21). That miracle wasn’t just about meeting a need; it was a revelation of who He is. He sees our needs before we even speak them, and He is moved with compassion. He is not limited by resources—He creates abundance where there was none.

Peace for the Anxious

In Philippians 4:6-7, we’re told to be anxious about nothing, but to bring everything to God in prayer. Why? Because Jesus supplies peace. Not the fleeting peace the world offers, but one that "surpasses all understanding.” When life is chaotic, His peace is a shield and a sanctuary.

Strength for the Weary

Isaiah 40:29 says, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Jesus doesn’t just offer rest for the body—He restores the soul. When we are worn thin by life’s demands, He becomes our source of strength. He lifts burdens we were never meant to carry alone.

Guidance for the Lost

In a world full of noise and confusion, Jesus supplies direction. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). He doesn’t merely point us to a path—He is the path. When we’re unsure of which way to go, His Word lights the way, and His Spirit whispers guidance to the willing heart.

Eternal Supply

Perhaps the greatest need of all is salvation—reconciliation with God, forgiveness, and eternal life. And this, too, Jesus has supplied. Through His death and resurrection, He has given us access to the Father and the gift of eternal life. “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).

---

In Conclusion

Jesus is not merely a giver of gifts; He is the source. In Him is found all we need—for today, for tomorrow, and forever. Whether your need is material, emotional, spiritual, or relational, Jesus is able. He invites you to come, to trust, and to receive.

He is enough. He is everything.

Mrs. Linton:
No talking. No phones. And eyes on your own paper. Begin.

(Students begin writing. Jake fumbles under his desk, pulls out a small piece of paper.)

Scene 2: The Principal’s Office

(Lights dim. Spotlight on Jake and Mr. Daniels in the office. Jake looks nervous.)

Mr. Daniels:
Jake, I’m disappointed. Mrs. Linton caught you using unauthorized notes during the exam.

Jake:
Sir, I was desperate. I didn’t mean—

Mr. Daniels: (sternly)
Desperation does not justify dishonesty. Integrity matters more than any grade. You will receive a zero, and you’ll be suspended for three days.

Jake: (ashamed)
I understand, sir. I’m sorry.

Mr. Daniels:
Let this be a lesson. Cheating may seem like a shortcut, but it always has a cost.

---

Scene 3: School Courtyard – A Week Later

(Sarah sits on a bench. Marcus joins her. Jake walks in quietly.)

Sarah: (to Jake)
Hey. How are you holding up?

Jake:
Not great. I let everyone down. Even myself.

Marcus:
Look, we all struggle sometimes. But next time, ask for help instead of cheating. We’re friends—we’ve got your back.

Jake:
Thanks. I’m going to work harder from now on. I want to earn my grades the right way.

---

Scene 4: Narrator’s Wrap-Up

(Narrator steps forward. Spotlight.)

Narrator:
Temptation is easy. Doing the right thing is hard. But in the end, only honesty brings true success. Remember: Cheating does not pay.

(Lights out. Curtain closes.)

The Lantern Keeper

In a mist-veiled valley nestled between two rugged mountain ranges, there was a small village known as Aldewood. Though the village had no grand towers or bustling markets, it was known far and wide for one peculiar thing—a lantern that had never gone out.

At the heart of the village stood a modest stone tower, not much taller than a cottage, where an old man named Elric lived. He was the Lantern Keeper. Every evening without fail, Elric would climb the tower’s winding stairs, polish the glass casing, refill the oil, and light the flame with his own two hands. The flame burned not with ordinary fire, but with a gentle golden hue that never smoked, never flickered, and never failed—so long as someone cared for it with a pure heart.

People often whispered that the flame was magical. Some said it had been a gift from a long-forgotten saint, others believed it was lit by the stars themselves. But Elric never claimed to know. He only said, “It stays lit because it must, and because I choose to tend it.”

Years passed. Seasons changed, children grew, and Elric grew older. His hands began to tremble, his breath came in shorter puffs, but still—every evening—he made the climb and lit the lantern. Not for fame. Not for gold. But because he believed in doing what needed to be done, no matter how unnoticed or uncelebrated.

One day, a storm swept through the valley. Fierce winds howled like wolves, rain lashed the cobblestones, and lightning cleaved the sky. That evening, Elric did not descend from the tower. By morning, the storm had passed—but the lantern remained dark.

Villagers gathered, murmuring and uneasy. “He’s never missed a night,” someone said. “Not once.” A group of younger men climbed the tower and found Elric slumped beside the lantern, his hands still wrapped around the unlit match. He had passed away quietly, trying to do what he had always done.

For the first time in a hundred years, the lantern went dark.

The villagers were silent for a long while. Then a girl named Liora stepped forward. She was only fifteen, small and shy, often overlooked in the crowd. “I want to try,” she said.

Some chuckled. Others hesitated. But Liora walked up the tower that night, her hands steady, her mind clear. She lit the match, whispered a small prayer, and touched it to the wick.

The flame came to life.

It glowed golden again, soft and steady.

And from that day on, it burned just as it always had—not because of magic, but because someone with a sincere heart chose to tend it.

Years later, when Liora was old and gray, she too passed the lantern to another—someone not chosen for their strength or knowledge, but for their quiet sincerity.

And so the flame endures.

In a world eager for greatness, it is often sincerity—gentle, humble, unshakable—that keeps the light burning.

She was on the defensive throughout the encounter. She chose to be. For a woman like that, it would be foolish to start an argument or a fight. She actually looked ready for any combat. How aggressive!

But how did the woman trace her to the shopping plaza? How did she come to know about her?

Truly, she was having an affair with Biyi Osho, the city guy with money to throw around. Nancy had been having a sizzling relationship with the man for over six months now, and there had been no problem.
Until now.

She never knew Biyi had an extremely jealous and cantankerous wife. And he never even hinted her.

Ops!

That plump woman was a terrible one. With a woman like that, Nancy reasoned, why would a man not seek desires outside?

Even as she watched Nancy hurriedly drive out of the parking space, Funmi was satisfied with herself. Surely she had given the lady the jolt of her life. It was good for her, Funmi decided. All these ladies that would not leave married men alone deserved whatever ill treatment they received.

Funmi and her personal driver returned to her jeep, parked some few cars away from where Nancy had parked her car.
'That was good for her.' It was a monologue Funmi had to make to vindicate her actions. ' Next time, she will say no to him. Useless ashewo woman.'

She hissed sharply as she dropped into the backseat of the car, still simmering with rage. Turo, the chauffeur, slid into the driver’s seat and cranked the engine to life, accustomed by now to never questioning whatever storm his madam was brewing.

“Where to now, madam?” His voice carried a hint of caution, almost fear.

Funmi let out a heavy sigh, a harsh hiss escaping her lips again. “Did you see her? That thing—like some bloated kpanla fish. A stupid ashewo!” Her words spat venom. “I wish I had ripped off her bra, just to show the world what useless garbage she’s hiding under that torn top.”

Turo remained silent. What could he say to that fire? He shifted the gear, easing the car out of the complex.

“We’re heading home. Enough drama for one day.”

He nodded quietly. “Yes, madam.”

Meanwhile, Nancy’s car rolled into the quiet street off Abiola Crescent, Ikeja. She didn’t even glance around—eyes sharp, heart pounding—ensuring no one loitered outside before she dared to step out. The bags in the boot could wait. She didn’t want anyone glimpsing her torn top, or the pale skin exposed in her quarter nudity.

She moved swiftly to her apartment, slipping inside where the warm silence wrapped around her like a shield. Closing the door behind her, she shed the tattered clothes, changing into fresh underwear and a clean top—keeping the ruined outfit tucked away. It was a trophy now, proof of how uncivil Biyi’s wife could be.

Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and expectation. Today, I boldly declare fruitfulness over every area of my life. I decree that I will no longer operate in barrenness, stagnation, or delay, for You have called me to be fruitful and to multiply.

I declare that my hands are blessed, and all that I set them to do shall prosper. My ideas are fruitful, my work is productive, and my purpose is aligned with Heaven’s design. I decree that my productivity will yield abundant, lasting results, not by my strength, but by Your Spirit, O Lord.

In the name of Jesus, I break every limitation that has held me back. I cancel every assignment of lack, drought, and discouragement. I step into a new season of divine acceleration, divine opportunities, and supernatural breakthroughs.

As it is written in Psalm 1:3, I am like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever I do prospers. I align myself with this truth and walk in full agreement with Your promises.

Lord, cause my life to bear fruit that glorifies You—fruit in my character, my relationships, my finances, my ministry, and my calling. Let doors open that no man can shut, and let divine connections bring forth a harvest of joy, peace, and righteousness.

I thank You, Lord, for fruitfulness that multiplies, overflows, and testifies of Your faithfulness. I receive it by faith, and I walk in it with boldness.

In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.

'Madam, what is the problem?' The security man looked ruffled as if the scene was abominable.

''It is this usele.. lady.' The plump woman's reply was swift. 'This ashewo lady.'

The woman tugged at the strap more and succeeded in pulling the left cup off, but Nancy was able to pull the clothing back fast to cover her chest.

'Just look at her! See her useless things!' The aggressor was gleeful.

'Madam, leave me o. Ah, what kind of nonsense is this?'

Nancy wouldn't have anticipated the great embarrassment, even in her dream.

She had heard of things like this before. In Lagos, such an incident was not unheard of. But she couldn't have imagined that she would be at the receiving end.
The few people around did not make any move to broker peace, save for the security guy.

As a matter of fact, the last action was to their delight. They looked on as if they were watching a premiere from Nollywood, Nigeria's version of Hollywood.

'No, you can't do that, madam.' There was concern and urgency in the tone of the security man.

He held the aggressor and tried to restrain her from further attack.

The woman's hold on Nancy slackened. That gave Nancy the leverage. Still on the defensive, she dashed inside the car, slammed the door shut and kicked the engine into life.

She reversed out of the park and gunned it away from the shopping complex. The woman was still shouting after her as she drove away.

The Majesty of Jesus

Jesus, You are glorious beyond compare.
Clothed in light, robed in splendor, and crowned with everlasting power.
You are the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being.
By Your word, the universe holds together. By Your blood, redemption flows.

You are the King above all kings,
The Lamb upon the throne,
The Lion of Judah who conquers with truth,
Yet comes near with compassion and grace.

At the whisper of Your name, darkness trembles.
At the sound of Your voice, storms are stilled.
Heaven adores You; earth bows before You.
Every crown will be cast at Your feet.

No one compares to You, Jesus.
Your majesty is not just in Your power,
But in Your mercy, humility, and boundless love.
You reign in holiness, yet dwell with the humble.

Jesus, be exalted in my life.
Let my heart reflect Your beauty.
Let my words echo Your truth.
Let my soul rest in the assurance of Your eternal reign.

Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory—
Now and forever. Amen.

Today, I declare by faith that total victory is mine—complete and undeniable—in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Every adversary, whether seen or unseen, every force that rises against me, every obstacle that dares to stand in my path, is rendered powerless. I stand firm in the authority of Christ, who triumphed over all principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them on the cross.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against me in judgment, I condemn. I walk as more than a conqueror, not in my strength, but through Him who loves me.

Today, I walk in divine favor, supernatural strength, and unwavering confidence. Doors that seemed closed are opening. Mountains are being moved. Chains are breaking. Delays are turning into acceleration. The enemy’s schemes are being turned into stepping stones for my promotion.

Peace surrounds me. Wisdom guides me. Angels go before me. The Spirit of the Lord empowers me.

Victory is not just a hope—it is my portion. It is my reality. It is sealed by the blood of Jesus and confirmed by the power of His resurrection.

In Jesus’ mighty and victorious name, I pray. Amen.

Sermon Title: "The Power of the Blood"

Text: Hebrews 9:22 (NIV)
"Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness."

Introduction:
Today, I want to talk about something foundational to our faith — the blood of Jesus. It's not just a symbol or an old theological term. It's the very means by which we are saved, redeemed, and made right with God.

---

1. The Blood of Jesus Brings Forgiveness

We live in a world where people carry the heavy burden of guilt and shame. But the Bible says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins” (Ephesians 1:7).
When Jesus shed His blood on the cross, He paid the full price for your sins — past, present, and future. You don’t need to earn forgiveness; it's already been bought for you.

---

2. The Blood of Jesus Cleanses Us

1 John 1:7 says, “The blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.”
The blood doesn’t just cover our sin — it washes us clean. No matter what you've done, how dark your past is, or how many times you've failed, the blood of Jesus is enough to cleanse you completely.

---

3. The Blood of Jesus Gives Us Access to God

Before Jesus, only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies, and only once a year. But when Jesus died, the temple curtain was torn from top to bottom (Matthew 27:51), showing that the way to God is now open to all.
Hebrews 10:19 says, “We have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus.”

You don’t have to go through a priest. You don’t have to be perfect. The blood gives you access to God Himself — to His presence, His promises, and His power.

---

Conclusion:

The blood of Jesus is not just part of the Gospel — it is the Gospel.
It redeems, it restores, it protects, and it speaks a better word over your life (Hebrews 12:24).

So today, if you're feeling unworthy, remember: the blood has already made you worthy.
If you're feeling distant from God, remember: the blood has already opened the way.
And if you’re feeling condemned, remember: the blood has already declared you forgiven.

Plead the blood. Trust the blood. Walk in the power of the blood.
