TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by DizNutz:
Also, I didn't include passport photographs when I submitted my application. I found out the next morning that that was ground for rejection. My school advised me to cancel and re-apply. So I requested a refund (cancel) and gave the reason: forgot to include passport photos. Cancelling to avoid rejection. Same day, I sent an email to UKVI asking whether passport photos where necessary. I received a reply next day that they were no longer required. I had already requested to cancel my application. Luckily who ever reviewed my request, used his/her own judgment to ignore my request because of the reason I gave.
Peace to the people.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by DizNutz:
Here to share my success story and I hope it gives someone else some hope. I submitted my application at Ikeja VAC 8/09/16. After submitting all supporting documents, I was given the self assessment form to go fill outside the gate. While filling the form, I realised I forgot to submit my ATAS certificate which I had, but forgot to print out. My heart sank when I realised this coz it would mean instant refusal. I quickly printed out the document from those vultures taking advantage of desperate people (expensive as hell). I informed the man at the gate of my missing document and he made it known to me that there was no way to include more supporting documents after submission. He was very brutal about it too. I pleaded for a while. He finally allowed me in coz I had to return the self assessment form. When I got in, I informed the lady at the counter of the missing document and without hesitating she directed me to the stall near the interview room where my other documents were at this point. I got there but the person there refused to accept the ATAS, but collected the assessment form. So I returned to the first lady at the counter and she collected the document from me. I left without seeing her include the ATAS with the rest document. So the following week, I had nightmares about been refused. The 3 weeks wait was hell. I spent every minute of the day expecting a refusal. To God be the glory, I picked up my visa today and almost fainted before opening the package. 'Twas successful. She included the missing document. God bless.
