Thought it’s fast at just brownsing only and doesn’t work on downloading, uploading and streaming... recommendations please..

Every car "shorts" oil, grade or weight of oil combined with state of engine causes that
I tire... Some people just making it look as if it's
only Honda Accords that shorts oil...

Go for the 08 Accord that's on your mind, 2.4 or 2.0 engine preferably. Just stick to a regimented maintenance schedule with appropriate parts and fluids and can guarantee you absolutely nothing to worry about.
A word is enough for the wise... All cars have their problems.. like big bros said.. just do your normal maintenance check... It is required for ALL cars..

You are correct Sir.

For such roads, the CRV is clearly your better option.

You gain the advantage of better ground clearance and ball joint issues are much less common.

Maintenance routine is the same, and the car is quite easy to maintain. That CRV actually has the same engine as the 7th and 8th generation accords. It is just the chassis and interior design that are different.
Mind you... The 8the generation doesn't have ball joint issues like the 7th generation or less believe..been driving my 08 Accord for over a year and I haven't changed the ball joint, though I take it to my mechanic for routine checks and he always say the ball joints are still okay... Just because Tobi's 08 accord ball joint pulled out doesn't mean all other 08 accord have ball joint issue... Haba..

Sorry to chip in grin
I wanted to get that ride so bad. But my road is very uneven(terrible) so I'm guessing it's a no.

How about the Honda CRV 08 and above. Would that be a better option? Especially as regards maintainable and all that.
Bros.. if you like the car get it.. forget this road thing, no be today Naija roads don be like this.. people still dey buy some Benz wey dey very close to the ground.. I drive Accord 08 and it's not low as these people are making it look like, been driving my for over a year now, and my front bumper never pull out or sump burst cuz of bad road.. the parts are always available, some say the oil dries all the time, well I'm not experiencing that, maybe their engine is faulty or something.. if you like a car get it don't let anyone tell you otherwise abi na dem one drive am for you?...

For one it's not too reliable as it's a first year model. Also it's expensive to maintain, you can go for the 2012 Model if you really want to get the Accord.
So the 2012 model is cheaper to maintain you mean?...

Have same issue for 2 years now and have tried all sorts of fix Short of changing the transmission unfortunately no fix. If you accelerate gently it shifts from 1 to 2 smoothly. My next step is to buy Lucas transmission fix and if it spoils the transmission...... So be it. If you find a fix let me know
Bros... Just get a new gear.. had same issue.. changed switches tire, still didn't stop... I just sold the gear for 10k and got a new one at Onyingbo..now enjoying my new gear... For Accord 08

Morning. Please I drive a Honda Accord 2004. Recently, i have been having issues with the gear. When the gear is on drive, it hesitates and revs before jerking forward, and I notice this is usually occurs between the GEAR 1-2 on the dashboard.

The issue actually started after I took my car for engine wash; then i noticed whenever i changed gears; either from drive to reverse or park, it jerks forward of backwards depending on the direction. I took it to my mechanic, he changed the gear switch and oil. The jerking during the gear change stopped, but the revving and jerking while accelerating didnt. Although, as soon as the speed increases to like 6okm/hr, or above gear2 sign on the dashboard, it doesnt occur anylonger. Until i slow down, and when i try to increase speed, it does so again.

I've tried two seperate mechanics, who have also tried changing the gear switch but problem still persists.

Do you have an idea what could be wrong?
Had the same issue with my car Honda Accord 08, after the engine was washed.. had to change the sensor because water entered inside the sensor, ever since then I've been washing my car myself.. I just can't fit shout abeg.

Good morning house. I noticed a hard jerk/noise with my car immediately I push the gear to either revise or drive (D4). More so, the indicator light showing the selected gear, D4 in this case, continues to be blinking instead of remaining on. Finally, the gear selection is poor as I am noticing that gear one is not being selected owing to the fact that I have to push the trottle so hard to continue moving after a slow down. Please house, I just need your help or your guide on what to do. It's Honda and your reply is highly appreciated
Call a rewire to scan the car first...

Actually I ignorantly invited Lasisi the Carpenter u know what

After he was done the second day ND I paid him 4k for his own fees like he charged

U won't believe I went out that evening ND while coming back the sump he went to repair started leaking again I spent another #25,000 to buy TOKUNBO SUMP, NEW 5W-20 OIL AND PAID ANOTHER ORIGINAL MECHANIC WORKSHOP TO HELP FIX THR CAR... later I noticed he spoilt my ADJUSTER WITH THE NEW BELT I PAID HIM TO ALSO HELP ME CHANGE ...I HAD TO GET ANOTHER ADJUSTER AROUND 6K everything he touched ND repaired had new fault again afterwards

Just recovering from the mess the Lasisi I thought was carpenter caused

All this happened coz my initial Mechanic were busy when the issue started that was why I decided to try new hands and indeed May we not regret Cox in that case I regretted trying the yeye guy I just decided not to put up any case with him of course he has been begging me since then on Phone
All these nonsense mechanics claiming they know what they don't know....lol... That's why I normally go to Onyingbo to fix any issue on my Honda car... people who specializes in fixing Honda cars only..

how much for catalyst and both sensors please?
I got mine for 70k with the sensor.. my car is Honda Accord 2008...it ranges from 65k to 80k... Without sensor should be around 40k or so... Check well before buying, some people will park iron net insid and tell you it's catalyst... Check problem, it should be intact and haven't been opened or recently welded..

Hello all,

i drive a. 2k5 honda accord, ii αve a problem.

While i'm driving i notice dat after i slow down or wen i want ϯo re-accelerate sometimes, the engine vibrates (shakes) until i lift my foot off the throttle completely, bt wen i put my foot back on the throttle it moves normally.

i thought it was the spark plugs causing this, but i've changed the 4 plugs with new ones but it still does same.

a mechanic said it's probably from the fuel pump.

Any ideas wat it ishuh
I'm having the same issue with my Honda accord 2008

Please help... I changed the k shaft last month.. please what could be the problem of the vibration??..

CareerRe: Which Is Better, NOUN Or UNILAG DLI by dmariowizzy(m): 8:31pm On Jan 10, 2019
Hello.. please... Which school did you choose and how's it working out for you?? Please I would like to know..

Nayok:
Good day ladies and gentlemen, I'm seriously Need advice on which institution will suit a person like me.

Let me start by this, I'm 27 years old, I finished my secondary school in 2008 and I have a good result, art class precisely. I couldn't further then cos there was no one to assist so I opted for learning a trade after some years I graduated as an artist/sign writer. I left for Lagos in search of greener pastures which I was offered a job at a Lebanese restaurant. To cut it short I became a taxi driver (uber) and I was able to own a car after completing the hire purchase. Now I want to go back to school but still be driving uber because this is what I will finance the study from. I made enquiry for available part time institution here in Lagos, and I arrived at National Open University of Nigeria (Noun) and Unilag DLI. Both offered my preferred course to study(social science related) but people around me made me realized that Noun certificate is less worth to the society and it's students don't attend class, one have to get handouts and read on their own only to come to school when it's time for exam. On the side of Unilag DLI, most of their course are 5years and their fees is around 150k,(not issue) but I don't know whether their certificate is same as NOUN's. Are UNILAG DLI students allowed to do NYSC unlike Noun. In short which is better for someone like me(who hustle to meet up) thanks all.
