I love intelligent arguments! This is a very sound line of thinking by Gbajabiamila |
gotaheart:Yea, I'm in agreement with you here. Good people have ruled Nigeria. However, people underestimate what it takes to bring remarkable progress to a country like ours . . . |
#KillerHerdsmen is one of the legacies of Buhari's government! |
The last adminstration wasted the opportunity to save from the high oil revenues, paying trillions on subsidy. Now this administration doesn't have high oil revenues and doesn't pay subsidies. Yet no progress in petroleum product supply, the economy, or anything. Please I need to know how different Buhari is from Jonathan ??. I am now convinced that Buhari and Jonathan are 5&6, one is salt, the other is pepper! - One had money and didn't know what to do. - Other had no money and didn't know what to do. Make no mistake, the way one was betrayed and booted out! So the other shall be betrayed and booted out! Clueless human beings. |
Don't be deceived! Buhari and Jonathan are 5&6, one is salt, the other is pepper! - One had money and didn't know what to do. - The other didn't have money and didn't know what to do. . . . Make no mistake, the way one was betrayed and booted out! So the other shall be betrayed and booted out! Clueless human beings. |
abduljabbar4:Lollz . . . let's leave tribal sentiments just a bit. This is serious. We can as well say #EndHighness |
It's high time we place media attention appropriately. This is at best a toy and he can be encouraged to package it and sell it accordingly. Bank of Industry comes in handy here. The world is seriously moving on! and junky hobbies like this should not be mistaken for innovations. |
Exactly my point. Victims of both crimes are different. One is urban, the other is rural. I really pity these #KillerHerdsmen victims, they are really the poorest of the poor. . . You can imagine a governor giving ultimatum to them to find a way to live with the Herdsmen. #EndKillerHerdsmen Bevista: |
The increasingly brazen rampage of Fulani herdsmen across the country is very very disturbing! They are attacking the poorest of the poor. People who do not have access to Twitter, Nairaland or other platforms to tell their stories! SARS operates in cities, that is why their actions are eliciting viral reactions online and offline. With Nationwide rallies on this matter. I have never seen a rally against the menace of the rampaging herdsmen. SARS does not even have the record of entering a community and burning them in mass, like the herdsmen. Yet #ENDSARS is a much more serious movement today. Granted, both evils can be tackled at the same time. But plz the campaign to stop this Herdsmen menace should be given more voice! #EndKillerHerdsmen |
I love the stupidity of human nature ![]() See Buhari that has been roundly defeated by a westerner, South southerner and even late Yaradua. A serial looser that even cried publicly in the last defeat to Jonathan. Just because of the cluelessness of Jonathan, he managed to win narrowly and all of a sudden! His sychofants are preaching him as undefeatable. I pity our leaders and the way "eye service" followers confuse them. I pray, they don't deceive Buhari. If he continues like this, he will loose to someone he never bargained for, someone that may not even be in the picture yet. Let the bragging continue . . . |
skedman:We all know the answer ![]() |
The former first lady and the blink blink senator were pictured laughing so hard at Senate President, Bukola Saraki's daughter's wedding in Abuja, yesterday. See crazy caption below: Patience: "Uncle D. Shine shine bobo, you musto drop sumtin today o"! Dino: "Mama P, I think say Baba don free all ya account, abeg release my gold tie nah"? Patience: "for where! Abeg drop sumtin fast fast before I take my other hand grab that your tin wey u dey carry operate for the oda room. My eye dey chook" Dino: "I no run ma" Patience: "Chai, u don spoil finish. Diaris God o" BOTH LAUGH . . ****************** What could be so funny? https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2017/12/lol-caption-this-photo-of-patience-jonathan-and-senator-dino-melaye.html

I'm not a fan of Nigerian political parties, but I'll choose PDP as a lesser evil. I hope they get it right. For what its worth, the PDP focused on their curroption and some laudable steps in national development. But APC focuses on their curroption and PDP. They are so fixated on defeating and burying PDP to remember that their is a country to develop. No innovation, no new agenda, nothing . . . Just pointless recycling of old PDP structures: efcc, treasury single acc, n-power, minimum wage, agriculture . . . |
. . This is a nice breakdown you have done. No, I do not and have never believed low pay is justification for bad behaviour. On the contrary, what I've been saying is that to properly address bad behaviour, you must tackle pay and conditions of service while enforcing discipline. The army, teachers, and all other civil servants you mentioned all have bad service reputations here in Nigeria, and the reason is not far fetched. I work in an industry were my Company charges clients $1,000 a day for the services of a field engineer. After, massive service deductions, etc. An engineer goes home with about $300 a day. And you can do 30days back-to-back with just 2weeks break between. . . However, once Nigerians started becoming managers in this company, their first line of action was to cut this day rates down to $50 a day and they will owe you this money for months! If you don't want to work you go, they will get someone else. When we come to value our manpower properly in this country, we will demand and get excellent service delivery in every parastatal, institition, or industry. Livefreeordieha: |
Livefreeordieha:It's ok if you find it offensive! Its within your right. My opinion remains: civil/public servants in Nigeria earn crap. The government is just mass producing poverty and then turning around to complain and find solutions to it. |
subcbouy:That's a good question . . . Most of us thought PMB had the answer and solution ![]() |
mgbadike81:Lollz, I live and work in Nigeria, when you want to see well paid civil/public servants don't ask around, just go to . . . NNPC, DPR, CBN, FIRS, and a handful of "special parastatals" Policemen earn crap! |
WrathOfHadez:I disagree with you on this. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. How much exactly is this paid well?? 25k a month? Let's be adamant and truthful about this . . . Public servants are not paid well in Nigeria, police very inclusive! The good pay and money mania is only at the very top. Government must overhaul the entire civil service - good pay, trainings, and honourable conditions of services. Unless nothing will change. Nothing! |
mgbadike81:Holy jizzzzz! . . . Which country? Which police? |
Crixina:First things first! You don't pay people crap and expect good services. You pay for what you get. Let's forget the complaining . . . You give a young man gun to stand under the sun from morning, even at night and pay him 18k at the end if the month. My brother, that thing wey you dey find, you go see am oh! Pay the guys well, restructure, train them and retrain them, send them for courses, let them undergo promotional interviews, give them medical insurance, housing allowance . . . Bro, many will sit up! . . . and of course you can fire or jail the stupid ones! |
Ruggedfitness:After like paying her lawyers for 5years, she will still go to prison with what is left of the black eye. |
Hey God, what has thus child done in a previous life or what to deserve this?? I still don't understand the deal God has with evil! Why does he allow it to still persist for ages? . . . Can't Jesus just come and we get over all this wickedness? Jizzzzz |
. . . How does all this cursing up and down help our condition? . . . When we entertain our minds with some curses, plz let us also discuss some truth. In the name of God, let us stop deceiving our leaders, we hail them too much! Too much sycophancy! Even if you like what your leader is doing, is it not supposed to be his job? If u stay close to any Nigerian leader, PMB, GEJ, OBJ, Governors, even the others like Pastors, Company MDs, etc. Boy the hailing and subservient worshipping is infectious . . It makes these guys not to reason properly! Even rebels like Kanu get so hero worshipped that they loose focus! Mehn! That mad penchant for sycophancy at every level is messing us up badly! |
I guess the question is not complete. however, let's be systematic here: 1) To be ignorant and hardworking is a terrible combination. In fact people like that are very dangerous! 2) To be lazy and knowledgeable is very ok. In fact people like that control a lot of things. |
I still don't know the crime our forefathers committed to make us suffer like this! We embrace stupidity in public places and glorify confusion at every opportunity! Budget Again ![]() |
I've always suspected Nigeria's population numbers are fishy! A population of 180+ million Let's say 160m are adults Let's say 80m use phones (atleast this is close to NCC numbers) Let's say half of this use FB (40m) So with all the fake FB accounts, duplicate accounts and all . . . The real number is just 22million ?Compare this to FB numbers in smaller countries like Malaysia, Kenya, South Africa, even small states in the US easily have 22million people. . . . Point is FaceBook just exposes the fact that Nigeria's population is just an inflated Fraud!!! We have never genuinely taken a proper census. No data, nothing, just manipulated numbers up and dan! |

Proterra upgraded its 40-foot Catalyst E2, now called ‘Catalyst E2 max‘, with a massive 660 kWh battery pack and brought it to the track at the Navistar Proving Grounds in New Carlisle, Indiana, to test it. The Navistar Proving Grounds in Indiana noted that the vehicle covered a long distance of 1,772.2 kilometers (1,101.2 miles) before its battery pack ran out of power. This sets a new record for the longest distance traveled by an electric vehicle on a single charge.
