The last adminstration wasted the opportunity to save from the high oil revenues, paying trillions on subsidy. Now this administration doesn't have high oil revenues and doesn't pay subsidies.

Yet no progress in petroleum product supply, the economy, or anything.

Please I need to know how different Buhari is from Jonathanhuh??

.

I am now convinced that Buhari and Jonathan are 5&6, one is salt, the other is pepper!

- One had money and didn't know what to do.

- Other had no money and didn't know what to do.

Make no mistake, the way one was betrayed and booted out! So the other shall be betrayed and booted out! Clueless human beings.

PoliticsRe: Between #ENDSARS and #EndKillerHerdsmen which is more important? by DMathematical(op): 1:13pm On Dec 12, 2017
Exactly my point. Victims of both crimes are different. One is urban, the other is rural.

I really pity these #KillerHerdsmen victims, they are really the poorest of the poor. . . You can imagine a governor giving ultimatum to them to find a way to live with the Herdsmen.

#EndKillerHerdsmen

Bevista:
Tbh, the #EndKillerHerdsmen should worry the society more than #EndSARS, due to the barbaric activities of this group. We are talking about scores if citizens losing their lives unlike the SARS situation where it is largely extortion or/and torture.
---
However, the reason why the #EndSARS campaign is gathering momentum is because most of the direct victims are social media class, so they can relate to the issue on a personal level and therefore help to promote the campaign. Contrast this with the herdsmen situation, where most of the victims are rural dwellers with no one to push the campaign on their behalf.
PoliticsBetween #ENDSARS and #EndKillerHerdsmen which is more important? by DMathematical(op): 12:49pm On Dec 12, 2017
The increasingly brazen rampage of Fulani herdsmen across the country is very very disturbing! They are attacking the poorest of the poor. People who do not have access to Twitter, Nairaland or other platforms to tell their stories!

SARS operates in cities, that is why their actions are eliciting viral reactions online and offline. With Nationwide rallies on this matter.

I have never seen a rally against the menace of the rampaging herdsmen. SARS does not even have the record of entering a community and burning them in mass, like the herdsmen. Yet #ENDSARS is a much more serious movement today.

Granted, both evils can be tackled at the same time. But plz the campaign to stop this Herdsmen menace should be given more voice! #EndKillerHerdsmen

I love the stupidity of human nature grin

See Buhari that has been roundly defeated by a westerner, South southerner and even late Yaradua. A serial looser that even cried publicly in the last defeat to Jonathan.

Just because of the cluelessness of Jonathan, he managed to win narrowly and all of a sudden! His sychofants are preaching him as undefeatable.

I pity our leaders and the way "eye service" followers confuse them. I pray, they don't deceive Buhari. If he continues like this, he will loose to someone he never bargained for, someone that may not even be in the picture yet.

Let the bragging continue . . .

I'm not a fan of Nigerian political parties, but I'll choose PDP as a lesser evil. I hope they get it right.

For what its worth, the PDP focused on their curroption and some laudable steps in national development.

But APC focuses on their curroption and PDP. They are so fixated on defeating and burying PDP to remember that their is a country to develop. No innovation, no new agenda, nothing . . . Just pointless recycling of old PDP structures: efcc, treasury single acc, n-power, minimum wage, agriculture . . .

This is a nice breakdown you have done.

No, I do not and have never believed low pay is justification for bad behaviour. On the contrary, what I've been saying is that to properly address bad behaviour, you must tackle pay and conditions of service while enforcing discipline.

The army, teachers, and all other civil servants you mentioned all have bad service reputations here in Nigeria, and the reason is not far fetched.

I work in an industry were my Company charges clients $1,000 a day for the services of a field engineer. After, massive service deductions, etc. An engineer goes home with about $300 a day. And you can do 30days back-to-back with just 2weeks break between. . . However, once Nigerians started becoming managers in this company, their first line of action was to cut this day rates down to $50 a day and they will owe you this money for months! If you don't want to work you go, they will get someone else.

When we come to value our manpower properly in this country, we will demand and get excellent service delivery in every parastatal, institition, or industry.

Now back to the topic...I will only try this once to ask u this and whatever u say will determine the future of the conversation..

Are u saying the police criminality, extortion, harassment, impunity and extra judicial murders are justified because they are underpaid and aggrievedhuh

If your answer is still yes like it was prior...Then please remind me how much the minimum wage is for the following...Civil defense,prisons,immigration,FRSC,Army...
Teachers etc...You think all of them are satisfied?

Hold on...Before you bring up that sentimental BS that they risk their lives...Please tell me which job has no hazard...

And mind you if a teacher slumps in classroom end of story ...But a police officer will be celebrated nationwide and immediately paid and family taken care of..

Now i took my time to help u sort that out...And so our friends here also can see...Even looking at the salary structure of a mere ASP and the life of opulence an ASP lives in the society should even tell a Fool that there is something fundamentally wrong with that institution.. It reeks and oozes of corruption, bribery and extortion...An average policeman in Nigeria doesn't depend on their salary.....

Please be calm and be truthful even though you don't have to..But for the sake of nobility pls do...Ciao!

The problem with the Nigeria Police Force is indiscipline, poor training, illiteracy and lack of professionalism.

You’re not even ashamed you were able to talk police men on duty into drinking alcohol for 4 straight hours.

I think the moral of your pathetic story is blowing your own trumpet.
I disagree with you on this. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

How much exactly is this paid well?? 25k a month? Let's be adamant and truthful about this . . . Public servants are not paid well in Nigeria, police very inclusive!

The good pay and money mania is only at the very top. Government must overhaul the entire civil service - good pay, trainings, and honourable conditions of services. Unless nothing will change. Nothing!

I've always suspected Nigeria's population numbers are fishy!

A population of 180+ million

Let's say 160m are adults

Let's say 80m use phones (atleast this is close to NCC numbers)

Let's say half of this use FB (40m)

So with all the fake FB accounts, duplicate accounts and all . . . The real number is just 22millionhuh?

Compare this to FB numbers in smaller countries like Malaysia, Kenya, South Africa, even small states in the US easily have 22million people.

. . . Point is FaceBook just exposes the fact that Nigeria's population is just an inflated Fraud!!!

We have never genuinely taken a proper census. No data, nothing, just manipulated numbers up and dan!
