Hi everyone. I need advice please. Forgive my explanation, I don't know much about cars.

I drive a 1998 Honda Accord EX I4 Automatic transmission (4 gear). Recently, I noticed that whenever I'm on a journey, the transmission performs very fine but after about one hour of constant acceleration above 100km/h, the transmission begins to misbehave and the gears take much effort to shift. Furthermore, when it starts misbehaving and I engage the gear, it doesn't respond immediately until I rev it up to 3000 and then it responds and takes unusual time to shift to the next gear and then stops at the third gear. But after letting it to cool off for like 30 minutes, it returns to normal. This has prevented me from using the car for journeys.
I took the car to the mechanics and after checking, they said the fault was from the sensors. I changed all the sensors and on the same day, I noticed the same problem.
Please what could be the cause of this problem and how can I go about fixing it?
