Umtiti - Despite the penalty resulting from your handball, you rarely put a foot wrong. Pairing with Mascherano to lock the defence. What a signing! This is the epitome of a steal to have signed you for such a measly amount. Kudos bruv!

André Gomes - Started the game somewhat averagely, but grew into the game and showed how classy you are. Your combo with Messi to setup Arda for the first goal was spot on. Your touches and understanding with your teammates is just spot-on. Nice one dude.

Denis Suarez - Well, not your best game but a great game nonetheless. Really wonder how lucky we are to have you in our team. Your understanding with teammates, your Xavi-esque way of passing and changing the tempo of the game is laudable. I mean, for a youngster of your age, you are unbelievably good. I couldn't be happier having a player around.


Special Mention: Arda Turan my MOTM. Yeah the demigod was on fire as usual but I have to give it to Turan this time around. Turan was just... Sadly, you couldn't make it a hattrick with that lob of yours, but I must say this is your best game as a Barça player as far as I am concerned. Keep going like this and improving and prove the coach was right to have you remain with the team despite heavy criticisms prior.


Bravo - Well, I would love to see you stay as usual, but I would also love to see MATs get the nod aa the number 1 just for the sake of the future. You have done well I must confess, but let's see how things unfold here-from.

Please you don't have to paint MATs in a ba light just to make Bravo look good. Without calling MATs out, one can still say Bravo is a very good goalie. Plus, everyone makes mistakes. I can mention how many games (just last season) Bravo made errors or allowed cheap goals. I like Bravo and I like MATs too, but it's obvious I like MATs more because of his age and with the fact that he is only gonna get better.

Do you know MATs is the number one target of Pep? He is only going for Bravo because Barça ain't ready to listen to whatever offer anyone has. That's to tell you something about MATs. Agreed, he ain't at Bravo's level yet, but that can be attributed to the limited gametime he gets. But his age, his feet and the potential to get even better makes him a better choice than Bravo if we were to choose just one of them. Every goalie wanna keep week in week out, and not just after every 2 weeks or sometimes 3 to 4 weeks.

So relax for the guy abeg.

Read the content of the screenshot again. he was not referring to only busquets performances after world cup. Coded01 said busquets has been reeling out poor performances over the years. He even tagged him biscuit.

During and after the world cup, almost everyone here including myself clamoured for Mash to be deployed to the DM role, not because Busi was not okay but because he was far from his best in that period and we all wanted Mash due to his heroics in the world cup as a Dm. Our prayer was answered as Busi got himself injured. Mash was tasked with the responsibility but alas! We all ate our words and prayed for Busi's quick recovery as it was obvious Mash couldn't fit in to the holding role in Barca system.(I am sure you know what I mean by the Barca system)
Every Barca player had at one time or the other been subjected to criticism when they didn't live up to expectation. Even god-Messi has been subjected to harsher treatment by the fans. Or how can you explain a full blooded Barca fan asking for Messi to be sold? Does that mean such a fan still holds same opinion till today? I can bet he doesn't.
So, a fan can say something harsh about his players in the heat of the moment to pass across his displeasure, that doesn't mean he holds same opinion for life.
