You have a point but if thats the target of the Arsenal board every season then all of them are a clown......which i doubt.
This I think is the reality. They are well concerned about the financial aspect of things, and that is evident in the amount of money the club makes every season. I must say Arsenal make a staggering sum of money for a club that doesn't win trophies.

So it seems the aim is about finances. I got to learn about this some 3-4 seasons ago and since then I fully grasped the idea behind Wenger's mode of spending and him not winning trophies as fans would expect, and also why his job is ultimately secured.

Now have you sat down to imagine if the board were to give him or rather have always set in stone the objective of winning trophies, they wouldn't have sacked him long before now? No matter how patient they are or can be, if his objectives were a negation of what I posted above, then I think he would have been showed the door.

Let's see what happens though. But unless they change their season's objectives, then I think Arsene will remain for the foreseeable future.

^^^^ it is safe to say whoever attacks ARsenal and Arsene are plane ignorant, wailers based on the above aim of the club.

Hmmm NAwa o.
True. Until the board changes its objectives, then Arsene is doing just fine.

No. All i want is for PSG to win it. Zlatan deserves 1 UCL medal
The reality is that, there is always gonna be a title that will elude almost every footballer. El Fenomenon deserved it as much too but didn't see it. It's like that sometimes.

Honestly Arsenal has been a disgrace you cant even vouch for them cos you dont know which of the Arsenal that will turn up, inconsistent has been their slogan. A season where the so call BIG four are playing below par, Arsenal cant even cease the opportunity.

The players at spurs, westham, leichester are not better that the one at Arsenal the only difference is the coach, Arsene may have lost the golden touch and feel too comfortable at Arsenal,so is time for him to go so that a younger coach who is ready to impress and who is motivated to win can take up the job.

The best coaches now are coaches below 50 years old.
First things first... What is the aim or the objective(s) of the club each season? This will enable one to properly evaluate Arsene. If their aim is a top-four finish and Wenger gives them that, will it be termed bad? I don't think so. But if the target is to win trophies, then that is when one would say he is underachieving.

The last time I checked, the board's main concern is a place in the following season's Champions League. As long as they make enough on the financial aspect of the game they are ok. Now, has it changed? That is what we need to know in order to properly assess Wenger.

'ARSENAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN PENALTY AGAINST BARCELONA'
By Chris Davie

Former Premier League referee Howard Webb claims that the Gunners should have been given a spot kick for Javier Mascherano's trip on Alex Iwobi

Arsenal should have been awarded a penalty in their 3-1 defeat to Barcelona, according to former Premier League and World Cup referee Howard Webb.

The Gunners were trailing when Alex Iwobi was clipped by Javier Mascherano as he was running into Barcelona’s area, but Russian referee Sergei Karasev waved play on.

Mohamed Elneny had cancelled out Neymar’s opener before a stunning strike from Luis Suarez and a neat finish from close range from Lionel Messi wrapped up the victory for the Champions League holders.

“On first viewing, I thought Iwobi clipped his own heels, but when we look at it a bit closer, we see Mascherano actually makes contact with the left leg of Iwobi, which causes that leg to go onto his own heel,” Webb told BT Sport.

“Mascherano has a duty of care not to be careless, not to cause that contact, would Iwobi have gone down if Mascherano has not been there? No he wouldn’t. He would have stayed on his feet.

“For me, that’s a foul, doesn’t have to be intentional, just careless, it’s maybe just on the line so I think it’s a penalty.”

Alejandro José Hernández Hernández, hailing from the Canary Islands, has been appointed to referee the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the Camp Nou on Saturday 2nd April. The game kicks off at 20:30 CET.
Any comments....2weeks 2days before the game
Comments? By this time?

For me it's one game at a time. When the time comes, especially during the international break, we will have enough time to deliberate on it. As for now, let's look forward to tomorrow night's game, after which we will look at our weekend game against Villarreal at El Madriga.
