We've started a movement on Twitter:

#Operation Bring Back Boateng's Share Of Hype and Overrated. grin
I dey talk about how to get my own you dey talk about Boateng. Wetin concern me and that one na? All man for himself ooooo

actually that was my first post on the lame terry-boateng argument, that iniesta-lampard even blind man go vex for that kind thing, the terry-calvaho defensive pairing is one the greatest in football history
The problem is that most of these EPL guys in a bid to argue with points blow things way outta proportion. And also make ridiculous claims too.

This is what happens when you allow sentiment to blind you from fully grasping what someone posted coz maybe it doesn't favour Messi. Na wa for you o. Read carefully what I wrote before you lie against me. I'm not too dumb to think one man can mark Messi excellently without help. Here's what I wrote. . .
Bro you mean I was sentimental because it was Messi? I guess you didn't open your eyes to read properly then.

For the records, I'm a realist. If it favours Messi, fine and if not, fine. Nothing you and I or anybody will say that will change Messi or anyone's status, either good or bad.

The same post of yours you quoted, if we were to go with that, that would not be fair. I said the entire team defended against Messi and not just Terry. You made it seem like Terry was the catalyst. Boateng was in the world cup final and was among those who helped shut out Messi. So?

My point is, you read my post outta contest. If anything, you picking out Terry in your comment wasn't fair on Messi. The same way you highlighted Terry's involvement is the same way someone else will highlight Boateng's involvement in the world cup which doesn't help the argument.

As for the argument itself, Terry over Boateng for life. Terry is one of the defenders I respect and will always do. Just that in a bid to make your point some of you blow things outta proportion.

okay let's not use that, but terry nor be boateng mate na.
Una no dey tire for all these arguments? Na so them say Iniesta no dey productive. Say Lampard better pass am because him get better stats, but the same people no gree say Lampard better pass Xavi and Zidane even though him get far better stats than both too.

All these kind arguments no dey make person know anything worthwhile. But as for the comparison, Terry over Boateng na. Make person see truth talk am.

Terry of that year coupled with Carvalho. Mehn those guys... Them dey use all parts of their body dey chop shots; belle oooo, head ooooo, everywhere. I respect those guys mehn...

For those of you asking me where hype and overrated are sold, I come bearing bad news. Reports reaching me have it that Terry the Patron Saint of Hype and Overrated Suppliers, has given an immediate order to CIA, British Intelligence, MI5, NYPD, SARS, DSS and FBI to lock up No. 2 Pound Road, Aba and 53 Iweka Road, Onitsha, where hype and overrated are sold legally. The instruction is for the remaining 50 Hype and Overrated to be given to Boateng so he can finally join the likes of Terry that have passed the nomination stage. Terry is really sorry for the dashed dreams and inconvenience this might have caused to the likes of Níhilist looking for 6-packs. grin grin

Besides, no be only Nihilist dey find six pack ooooo. I dey find 8 packs to help this my gulder belle.cheesy

Hypocrisy is his surname.

He didn't remember they didn't play in the same league or even the same country. But when it comes to Neymar vs Hazard we keep hearing the stale and silly excuse about both of them not playing in the same league. Nonsense!

I will personally pick Terry over Boateng any time any day. But, I think it's unfair using Boateng's fall against Messi to ridicule him. Afterall, Messi can rubbish any player at any moment. If in doubt, ask Madrid defenders grin
Honestly. I wanted to react to the post by erusen but decided to let it fly.

The argument is not my business but come on, Messi would do that to anyone. And for sinizia who said Terry shut Messi all the time they played against eachother, you should know the entire team shut Messi and not Terry.

Tell me who will go round a spiolt train (10 men in 2 lines) without being tripped by someone or without someone dispossessing you?

This is not to discredit Terry as he was great IMO but using such as a yardstick isn't fair.

People are now using hype and overrated anyhow. If only Terry appeared just once in those FIFA n UEFA awards it would've been term hype/overrated, but f.kin 5 times. Ha! There is God oo.

You will not see debroslink, nonsoroyalty, dmcdad(his fellow sentimentalist) here because their sentimental mind agrees with him.
Bro what do you expect me to post on here on this matter? I don't even read the posts anymore cause I am already tired of the endless arguments. Abi e never tire you sef?

I don't do sentiments. If anyone is to be tagged sentimental, it is surely you. You always refuse to call a spade by its name. You'd rather call is a hoe or a shovel just to back up whatever assertions or arguments you put forth.

Anywayz, we are on international break, hence the less posting on threads.

what will you do if someone say's walcott is a better player and finisher than aguero and ronaldo?

What you will do if someone told you wenger is better than mourinho and vangaal?

What will you do if someone says arsenal are going to win the league when we were still on october?

what will you do if someone says giroud is the best striker in the epl?

what will you do if someone says ozil is better than zidane?

Don't you think someone like that deserves to be burnt alive at ladipo market
The aforementioned can only be proclaimed by the spy. I think with such atrocious and ridiculous proclamations, he needs to be made to go unclad in the market square and saddled with masquerades who would flog the heck outta him.

...Rakitic was in tip-top form as usual...I consider him the deux ex machina in our midfield & squad in general...he scores goals & his immense work-rate cannot be denied...I wish we had 2 of him manning our centre field...

...Masherano also played well today...he made some crucial tackles especially towards the 87th minute...

...Neymar did well too...
Mascherano was easily the MOTM for me. Although special mentions to Ney and Rakitic. Suarez didn't play today obviously. Why was he benched? cheesy

...Busquet as usual was nowhere to be found; couldn't read the game accurately & was still seen holding on to the ball unnecessarily in our own half...

...we already had the game under lock & key at the blast of the whistle for halftime, then some ill-timed substitution by Enrique put mockers on that status...

...I've always bellowed that acquiring that lanky albino was a wastage of resources...I'm still yet to see why he was purchased for a whooping £29 million(him papa get shares for Barça?)...that money could have been used to buy Seun Sogbeso from Nassarawa united FC & we'd be seeing the results of our investments by now...

...can Enrique stop fielding Sergio Roberto as a RWB for crying out loud?...it cannot work for fück sake...that chap is a natural AMF & you're only hindering his progress by making him play a role he isn't fully comfortable in...
I'm logging in Facebook to make a lengthy comment about S.Roberto on our fan page right away!!!...enough is enough....

Dani Alves should stop doing drugs...it affects his brain when he plays...that's all I have to say about his performance today...

...Well, half bread they say is better than none...at least our unbeaten run still dey kanpe...

All attention shifted to El Clasico slated for next week Saturday.....
Clasico is in 2 weeks' time after the international break.

In all fairness, Villareal got a well deserved point.
Pique should have seen red in the 1st half, we were 2 goals up in the 1st half albeit fortuitous 2nd goal. Alves and Mathieu were then sent in to help crown Villareal's effort with success.
I admire their fighting spirit.
