Most of you cules are talking smack. Are you guys really watching these games?

Bayern go beat us oh. I don't trust Enrique. His secret desire has been to switch to 4-2-3-1 with double pivot. Every time he has tried it, the result has been horrible. The only area where he has done well in my view is managing player fitness. Our guys have relatively come to the business end

We have been mostly better due to our fearsome attack, which can easily be neutralized by cutting off supply, as well as e. We don't have the players to control the middle of the park. Check out the last Clasico and the game against Valencia. We won both games, but the slimmest margins of errors, coupled with poor luck on the part of opposition.

Yeah, we won, but one thing was clear to me from both games: against really tough opposition, Lucho doesn't prepare matches very well. He comes with a pre-conceived idea of how he wants to play, not based on how the opponent will play, and what the opponent's strengths are. Playing 4-2-3-1 against Valencia was a big mistake. A highly mobile, aggressive, and physical side that will press high up the pitch against our players, and will likely win 90% of 1v1 balls. We were very lucky to survive the first half without conceding at least 2 goals. He immediately corrected this in the second half by getting rid of Adriano (worst player on the pitch who could simply not cope with the pace of Sevilla players on the flank), moved Mathieu to the left, Mascherano to central, and Rakitic in at midfield, and the game evened out much better.

Pep knows the team very well, and he's someone that can prepare a game much better than Enrique. He also has aggressive ball players, better ball players than we do. All he has to do is put us under pressure, and force errors. Our team doesn't have the pace, the pressing intensity is not the same as it used to be, our play is more vertical now, and we don't have as many defensive-minded forwards or midfielders as Bayern does.
Let me even ask you... Do you watch Bayern games? You are saying all the above because you watch our matches week-in-week-out. Bruv gbagbé, we go beat Bayern well. If Sharktar, Porto or even Man City dey follow Bayerb drag, how e be say na Barça no go beat them hands-down?

Prior to playing Man City at The Etihad stadium, we lost to Malaga right? While City won their match and were oozing confidence. Kompany even went as far as saying, we wouldn't be able to play Stoke City blah blah blah... Wetin come happen?

Truth be told, you guys are just underrating this Barça team. That's all! How many big matches have we lost this season? PSG-Madrid right? We played PSG 4 good times and won 3 of them. Played Atletico 3 good times and won all. Played City twice, and you know what the outcome was. Who else...? And you still dey under-rate the team? I give up!

I believe this is the season to avenge on all those who have hurt us for the past 5 years!
My biggest regret of this season is that we did not meet Chelsea

We have a very strong team!
Yeah... We have a very strong team capable of eliminating anyone. It's just that we (and the media) often blow our weaknesses way out of proportion. Whereas, in most cases, our rivals suffer such weaknesses even more than us. But nobody dey complain about them.

Imagine, no one is saying how Lucho has really worked on set pieces on both ends of the pitch. Just wait and see the day we will concede from a set piece one more, then all the media and haterz alike would take no time to pounce on us and make a mountain of it.

I could remember what I said after the Sociedad game. I said, it's offical that we were gonna end the season without a trophy. Fast forward some months later, I believe we have everything it takes to win the treble, and ultimately the sextuple. Now, we may not end up winning the treble and so on, but things have changed that one cannot but hope for every trophy out there with the kinda performances the team is putting out week-in-week-out.

If any team is capable of taking off any of the others, then it's US.

I wonder why people would continue to say they would become emotional to see us paired against Bayern because of their everlasting love for Guardiola. This, to me, is ridiculous. We must agree that Pep is now in the past of Barca as he said sometimes ago that Barca is in his past. He's managing a rival team. So I see no reason why we shouldn't tear him and his struggling Bayern apart, were we to be paired together. As for me, the only coach I always like is the current Barca coach. grin

I can smell a certain level of confidence(albeit, inkling toward over-confidence and arrogance) being exhuded by some Barca at the prospect of winning the UCL this year. Most of you think you can easily beat Pep's Bayern if paired against them, even considering they could still be without their key players. Well, you guys might succeed if you get your game plan well. If there are few things we have noticed about Pep's UCL performance,it is that they are vunerable on the road. If we look at Pep's UCL record when playing away from home,we can see that he is mostly vunerable. But playing at home, his team can be devastating and deadly at home. Take the last two recent knockout rounds against Shakstar and Porto for example, you notice that Bayern got a goalless draw in Ukraine and a 3-1 loss at Portugal, but they were able to turn the deficit and inflict maximum, devastating damages on these teams, scoring 13goals at the Allianz Arena alone.

What am I trying to say? Keep over-confidence aside. Pep know Barca in and out and both teams play possession-based 'tiki-taka',forget Luis Enrique's counter-attacking static. If you guys want to beat Bayern and proceed to lift the UCL at Berlin, then if you people are lucky to get the 1st leg to be played at home(Camp Nou),assuming Barca and Bayern are paired together in the semi-final,then,you should try to inflict maximum damage, with atleast a wide goal margin, otherwise, you will pay dearly for it in the return leg at the Allianz Arena,as Shakstar and Porto have learnt the hard way.

On the other hand,if the first leg will be played at the Allianz Arena, then you guys should combined a disciplined defence with devastating counter-attack and be clinical with whatever little chance you are afforded. Remember,MSN will be playing against the reigning world best goalkeeper.

I can imagine some people saying that Shakstar and Porto are small teams and are not in the same class with Barca, but you should remember that this is football and the fact that they were able to get to this stage shows they are no small teams or pushovers.
There is a difference between confidence and over-confidence, albeit, there is a thin line between them. What I have as regards this team is confidence. If you tag it to be over-confidence, then you are on your own.

To be pessimistic with the prospect of meeting Pep's Bayern is ridiculous to say the least. A whole Barca, na im you dey use Sharktar and Porto dey weigh? Because e happen for Porto and co like this, then e go be like that for Barca? I no blame you, na Porto wey let their guard down I blame. So you mean say if we win them with Porto score for Camp Nuo, then same fate for befall us abi? Keep dreaming...

Bayern are a great side. I would continue to sound that loud and clear. And any attempt to undermine them as a threat would be crest-fallen to say the least. But, you forget it's Barça you are talking about. With MSN, I repeat, with MSN, they are dead.

They have the world best keeper right? Same keeper who was the custodian in the first leg against Porto? Not selling him short or something, but tone down the hype abeg.

I no wan talk much. But e go be una like home video.

Are we in last season or this season? wetin concern the form of last season with the form of this season? we're talking 2014/2015, you're talking 2013/2014.. you funny o...

Bayern is the ultimate threat to our UCL quest from the list of the remaining clubs.... Even R. Madrid can't stand the heat..

if you're given 4 clubs to pick from, who would you go for?

Bayern
R.Madrid
At. Madrid
Juventus..

Infact, arrange them in your own opinion according to the threat they pose to our UCL quest.
Real Madrid
Bayern
Atletico
Juventus

Frankly, we dey hype Bayern too much. Infact, I no blame Chelsit fans wey dey talk nonsense yesternight, say if Bayern catch us, we don die. I guess na Cules make them dey talk all those nonsense. As at last week nobody talk any better about Bayern oooooo. All of a sudden, Bayern are the team to beat. Abi we be Porto ni? Tell me say na we dey 3-1 up, Bayern go come qualify ahead of us? Draw sef them no go see for that match.

Bayern are a great side no doubt. But to pit them against us, they would need a miracle to qualify ahead of us. You are forgetting we play the same kinda game, barring our quick counter attacks. But then, we have better personnel than them. We are better at it than them. We still have quick counters at our disposal also. With MSN, I pity their defence. The midfield battle would be fierce, and would be equally contested for. Forget names, we are better organised at the defence than them. We are all squared when it comes to the custodians. They have one of the greatest coaches, but we have a potential one. One who is on the verge of doing what Pep himself did in his first season.

Bro... Nothing dey happen! Bring on Bayern!

don't count on that bro, do you know pep still watches our matches? that guy knows us in and out. if Diego knows us better, how come he gets beaten by us most of the time?
How many times did we beat him last season? That is to tell you that he already figured us out as at that time. He was surprised what he saw this tome around, with Barca mixing possession football with quick counter attacks.

If Pep watches our match, do you think Simeone doesn't? Plus, it's a different thing to watch a team play, and to play the team in the real world. You wanna tell me Simeone didn't watch our matches prior to the times we met this season?

Let me ask you... What area exactly are they (Bayern) better off than Barca?

I am not writing them off. That would be foolish of me. Just saying there is no need to panic. As it stands now, we have instilled fear in every team in Europe. Even Madrid sef dey fear the fearsome trio of MSN, much less Bayern. Yes! I said that, much less Bayern. If Madrid catch them anytime soon, them go soon chop am.
