when Buhari was saying subsidy was going to stop in 2023 why didn't you talk? When 2023 budget was prepared and allocation for subsidy was set to stop in June why didn't you talk ? But when Tinubu says it's gone knowing fully well there was no budget allocation for it anymore he is insensitive 😒........

i am not a fan of subsidy, but your reasoning is very poor at best and at worst cloaked in ethnicity. there is what is called supplementary budget to capture omitted items why didnt tinubu do that if that is the reason for him not continuing the subsidy regime

Politics / Re: Nigerians Are In Poverty And What The President Needs To Do by dmz1: 10:23pm On Aug 10

Nigerian government should not spend money on anyone claiming to be organising protest because they are not. Hunger and poverty is responsible for the protest. Mr president create jobs at least 50 million for the youths, make food affordable, reduce inflation, free education from primary to university level and free Healthcare service. Mr president once you have done this protest will disappear, peace and security will return to Nigeria. This message is from Make Nigeria Great Again and we are ready to help Nigeria Government achieved greatness.

Tinubu should resign if he's not that One Man. We are too tired of senseless excuses.

Selah.

i never thought this way before. one man can actually change the world. why did i not think like this when I am a christian? i have our saviour Jesus, Paul, Peter and innumerable others as examples.

Romance / Re: Why I Can't Marry Below My Economic Class. by dmz1: 7:36pm On Apr 20
okoroemeka:
your views is very valid and on point, but nature has made it so that women are loved unconditionally but a man is loved and cherished on the condition of what he provides,a rich man can date a poor girl and lift her up but a rich woman will not even see a poor man as a human being, nature has also made men to be the head and the providers and whatever happens it is good and healthy for a man to be providing with the wife's support but if a man relaxs for a woman to provide them you will know how wicked women are,but to aspire for a woman to be in same economic class is not too much to ask, even to be in similar intellectual class is also a necessity

Politics / Re: Approach Zimbabwe For Solution To Inflation, Obasanjo Tells FG by dmz1: 8:56am On Mar 06
Beverlyjean:
The only reason Naira is depreciating is due to those hoarding the dollar... what those that have excess naira are doing now is to buy up as much dollar as they can to make profit... dollars should be for only those that need I for traveling or to pay for goods and services in USA alone ...

Outrightly ban the dollar, make it illegal, anyone caught with dollars should be arrested... give all those that are holding onto it one month to submit it to the nearest bank at 1k per dollar or have the risk of loosing it entirely once the deadline is crossed ...

All domiciliary accounts should be shut down , and all foreign currency should be converted to naira ... all BDC should be shut down ... if u need dollars , go to the banks ...

Again, FG should arrrest 5 bank MDs along with the execs to use them to set example for those bankers that round-trip ....

For those saying it's because we don't produce, know that Nigeria has always been an importing nation... let's also know that usa import their oil, USA also import some of their goods due to cheat labour in China and Indonesia .... we should ask ourselves why Benin Republic currency is doing better.. they don't need the dollars to hoard... they also import massively and they don't even have any tangible export to earn dollars , but their currency is doing way better than ours ...

I'm not saying that local production would not have an effect, it will , but not as much ... Nigerians are the reason why the naira keeps on depreciating... cos we wanna use it to make money... we are the only ones that do this nonsense in this whole world ... u can't go to Spain or Portugal or Kenya or malaysia or Bolivia or Lebanon and u will see their citizens buying up dollars to hoard so that it creates scarcity to make gain thereby destroying the country... our president is also guilty of this cos he shared dollars to delegates tk get elected ... why wudnt the naira keep on crashing

MAKE THE DOLLAR ILLEGAL AND WATCH HOW NAIRA WILL APPRECIATE

Only those that genuinely need it should get it thru the banks and u will not even get it in cash ... it will be wired electronically to the company or person that needs it only in the United States... if u wanna buy good from China, u don't need dollars , u need yuan , if u wanna import from Europe, u don't need dollars, u need euros or pounds... and only the banks will run that for u... when coming into the country, u must declare and submit ur foreign currency to the cbn stand in the international airport and then u will get the equivalent in naira, and when travelling, ur bank will give u a special card that can act as PTA or BTA with limited amount to spend ..

Do this and watch the dollar to naira crash to 150- 200 naira in a couple of months
I am thinking, why cant people that want to hoard dollars be encouraged to hoard gold instead?
Politics / Re: Nigeria Must Recruit Selfless, Transformational Leaders – Obasanjo by dmz1: 8:02am On Mar 06
Lalami3232:
When it comes to selfless, transformational, good, goal oriented leaders in Nigeria, just forget it because it's impossible. It's like seeking for a virgin who's decent and not a regular borehole in Nigeria. Somethings are better not searched for because they're impossible to find in some parts of the world. But look at it again, the citizens are even worse than the government itself. They sell a bag of pure water in the south for 400-500 but in the North, it's less than 200 or just 200. Do we blame the government for this again? We deserve the leaders we get jare. What do I even know sef aside enlightening my fellow men nationwide with the good news.

Oga if you no meet your wife as a virgin, oga go for DNA test oooooo because boreholes aka non-virgins can't be trusted

oga you no know wetin you dey talk.
all things are possible
the cost of living is generally lower in the north due to some factors which you know of

Politics / Re: Sanwo-Olu To Request FG To Permit Importation Of Rice Paddy For Imota Rice by dmz1: 5:02pm On Feb 24
Zupay:

Sanwo-Olu is lying that rice is not growable in the South. It grows very well. For example, Ebonyi state grows and mills thousands of tonnes of rice yearly. The money Umahi wasted on building their white elephant project airport would have bought have bought hundreds of tractors, harvesters, threshers, build local dams, irrigation system for all year farming and set up mini mills in many communities.

I did hustle back in the day as a mobile rice thresher operator. I hired a locally fabricated thresher from one guy who is an Agricultural Engineer and fabricates machines. I hired from him during the rice harvesting season in Anambra rice growing communities, I will carry it to farms with Okada and couple it there, fill the 4 litres tank of the thresher and would operate it for a total of 8hrs which the petrol would cover. I used to thresh heaps of rice stalks already harvested and we get about 30 bags of rice paddies of 100kg each. Sanwo-Olu is yanning dust!

please can you introduce me to the thresher fabricator? I farm rice in the south east
