Firebox123:Thanks for the suggestion. Do they have an annual plan? |
I spend average of N5,000 daily on Airtel data which amounts to about 2 million naira every year. Recently, I observed that Airtel just shuts me out of the internet almost every 2 hours, even when I have robust data. This has continued unabated for the past 6 months, and they are relentless about it. I have called them several times to complain, what I get is the usual questions, which ends with 'switch off your phone for 5 minutes'. I hold virtual seminars and meeting on DNA testing and genetic testing with both local and international clients. Getting shut out of the internet while you are doing this can be very embarrassing and financially costly. Why should I have data and yet struggle to browse the internet, even when the costs of their data is now so exorbitant. I need a lasting solution and alternative. What is the best hitchless internet service provider and how much does it to subscribe. Business owners, internet gurus please bring your suggestions. I want to cut off Airtel for good. I'm tired. |
In the next 20 years, many DISCOs and GENCOs will be irrelevant to many families. People are going off-grid everyday, while embracing solar. They are telling 'NEPA' to go hell because it is now obvious that even 'NEPA' has given up on the provision of constant electricity. |
Image123:Leo is a saint's name. St Leo's Catholic church is in Ikeja, Lagos. |
Okay.. Check siggy |
Ok |
Firebox123:Our phone number is on our profile for further consultations. |
O- Negative donors are urgently needed to save lives. You may contact the phone number on our profile and signature via WhatsApp. If you stay around Ogba, Ikeja, Iju, Agege, Ajuwon, Abule Egba and environs, the blood donor center is not far from you. |
One rule I have learnt in the business world and in life generally. Do not beg a bully, connect with a power higher than that bully and the bully will scamper for safety. You were too quick to take the 'out-of-court' settlement. Your lawyer has to squeeze the tie around their necks and let them beg for fresh air. |
OP, that test is a urinalysis test that serves an 'indicator' or 'pointer' to the presence of certain ailments. However, it is not an exhaustive or comprehensive test. Do a comprehensive check and stop being miserly about your health. |
Bintabisiriyu2:Why do you people like to give fake verdicts. What parameter on that test indicates that he has Pyelonephritis (Kidney infection)? You lots just enjoy opening your mouths and giving unlettered opinions on issue that you have not the slightest inkling about. |
Cmanforall:It was a great political error that his brother joined APGA instead of LP. That was serious political myopia.. Heck, even Okada riders were winning elections on LP. His elder brother would have definitely being in the National Assembly by now if he were in LP. I hope they learn from that mistake. |
Goodadvice01:There is no easy way. You young men want to 'hammer fast', because you see your peers who are fraudsters buying cars and houses. Then you feel pressured. No one wants to learn a trade and put in the work anymore. To see a level-headed young man ready to serve for 4-5 years in apprenticeship is like looking for a needle in a haystack.. Go learn a trade in Onitsha, Aba or Nnewi. There are even a lot of Yorubas in Aba doing extremely well in fashion design, shoe designs. Wetin dey for Sokoto, e dey for your shokoto (pocket). |
Uwa bu ndoli ndoli, Ka ma o ga nwu, ya-adoli wa.... One of his favourite songs. |
Ebubu:I doubt that a Senator has such immunity. Are you for real? |
Quarterpast:Go for medical tests, include fungal studies in the investigation. It could be Jock itch caused by Trichophyton specie fungus. No amount antibacterial will heal fungal infections, and no amount of antifungal will heal a bacterial infection.. So go for tests and get the proper diagnosis. |
MadamExcellency:I know the place in Eke Mgbidi, on Onitsha-Owerri expressway..That house survived the war. |
While reading the script I could sense the flow of AI language. I am a Professor in an online Institution and I read tons of articles weekly. I know when students use AI for their assignments. Dr. Alex Adekunle, apart from your written name, the body of your text is 100% AI generated. A medical professional should be able generate articles with his raw intellect. I do not care about your political leanings. I am apolitical myself. However,I was salivating to read a well thought-out article, but was disappointed reading the mechanics of AI-language in your text. Haba na. Do you want people to mock and laugh us in the medical field? I would advise you to read Newspapers columnists like Prof. Kperogi and Prof. Odinkalu if you want to enhance your article-writing skills in the field of politics. See attached evidence.

hafeeanubasy:Nurse, Pharmacists, MLS are not paramedics. Paramedics are EMTs . Get your facts right. |
Kobicove:That's why I keep driving in the rain regardless. If you wait for all the Lagos motorists taking shelter during the rain, when the rain stops, you will find yourself stuck in crazy traffic. All the cars will be out at the same time, clogging all the arteries of the roads all at once. Nobody would want to obey traffic signs because they wanna get home on time. |
Fiscus105:I am of the opinion that people like her from ultra-rich families should stay of the public domain, especially the ever-chaotic entertainment industry. She would have been married by now, and then go into politics to solidify her family's status as one of the most Powerful families in Nigeria.. |
TinubuCriminal:If Simon and Chukweze can just stop their showboating and get the ball in the opponents boxes more frequently, then we might have a chance. For a misfiring team like the Eagles who is yet to have a coordinated attack, you may need at least 40 crosses or inswingers to get just one goal. That means you don have time to dribble or pass to defenders at the back. Just get the ball in the opponents red zones. Na their back pass gan gan dey always vex me. You are looking for a goal, time is ticking, dem give you ball for attacking area of midfield, you carry ball dey pass go defenders for back. Where is the sense of urgency and why then are you an offensive midfielder? |
Wow.. That house in the background is still standing. |
ItisWell22:If you don't believe in lab tests for documentary evidence of your clinical findings, when you practice in the US and patients overwhelm you with malpractice claims you go know how far. |
Basic123:We are also well aware that Hospitals and Physicians employ only Lab Technicians or graduates of Science Lab Tech instead of licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist to run their labs in order to cut costs. Don't you think the employment of quacks and non-qualified personnel contribute significantly to these medical errors and disregard of lab tests? |
Basic123:Do you have any data on the prevalence of clinical misdiagnosis in our hospitals? It was 32.4% when I did my M.Sc few years ago. Are we sure the disregard of medical test results do not contribute to these figures? Nigeria is one of the easiest countries where you can get away with medical malpractice/negligence. We all know that and we know why. Illiteracy on the part of the patient/patient's relatives contributes to a part of it. I am very much aware that many patients and relatives are now getting to know their rights in a country like Nigeria with a chaotic healthcare system. May God help us all. |
Basic123:The second to last paragraph says a Medical Laboratory Scientist sees causative organisms more than the Physician as part of the exigencies of his job.. That is a known fact. Do you carry microscopes during ward rounds? If you dispute it, you can provide counter evidential facts. We are on a public forum, and people are reading and learning. Let's enhance their knowledge about the medical field. |
Basic123:If you are making on your own clinical diagnosis by only the observation of sign and symptoms, nobody is quarrelling with you. You are well within your right as a physician. Whether you patients would be satisfied is a different thing entirely. However, headache, Fever, Anorexia are symptoms shared by thousands of different diseases, the Medical Laboratory is there to make differential and definitive diagnosis based on the patient's demographics, clinical manifestations etc..as it did during the COVID-19 global scourge. Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics is entirely within his professional purview. As long the diagnosis involves medical laboratory input, he is requested to write a report based on his investigatins. He is an expert, expected to be very much grounded in one of the many subfields of medical laboratory diagnostics. The job descriptions are clear, the MLS is well-versed and can discuss the diseases he investigates in the lab. Infact he sees the causative organisms and agents of these disease more often than you do as part of the exigencies of his job. So, pray tell, why do you think his opinion should hold no water when diseases and diagnostics are being discussed? |
femi4:Did you read the piece? The man is AA, but used the excuse of 'My genotype changed to call off the wedding'. He found another girl. |
Basic123:If he graduated from those places I mentioned earlier or has a PhD..He is a Doctor of MedLab and a primus inter pares in his field. The Physician has his own job description, just as the Pharmacist does.. The MLS guy did not tell you he is a Physician. He is a Medical Scientist and his opinion on Medical Diagnostics cannot be dismissed. He definitely knows more than you do on Medical Laboratory procedures and the validity of clinical laboratory testing. That is his field and he is expected to be an authority therein. He does not need to back to any school to claim what he already has, if wishes to remain and practice in Medical Laboratory Science which basically involves the study, investigation and diagnosis of diseases in the medical laboratory. Just as the opinion of a Pharmacist on drugs cannot be dismissed by a Physician. It is not about ego, it is about the lives on the line. The Pharmacist is king in that field. If you had told us the MLS guy was arguing with you about Surgical procedures, then I would fault him, as that is not within the purview of his training. We must not mislead people here on public platforms, because you feel the urge to sustain a certain bias or agenda. |
Basic123:If he studied the D.MLS in Ghana, India or US, yes he is a Doctor of MedLab. And yes, interpreting medical laboratory results accrued from clinical laboratory testing methodologies is within the purview of the job of the Medical Lab Scientist/Biomedical Scientist. Ask Grok or Meta. This is also dependent on the level of education, training and experience of the Scientist. For instance, to perform and interpret High-complexity test in the US, you would need higher experience as an MLS, specialized training or even an M.Sc. In the UK, you would need to be a Specialist Biomedical Scientist on a higher Band. Any well-grounded MLS can interpreted Low-Medium complexity tests. The same thing applies to physicians, you can't compare a fresh Post-NYSC green-horn physician to a Consultant in Nephrology. |
