Speculators who are profiting at the moment should get ready. Naira will end up around 700 to a dollar. By 2025 when the Dangite refinery becomes operational, the naira will even appreciate further. Why #700 in 2 years, Why not the #150, or better still #250, |

guobe: My darling club Bendel insurance will play against Asochlef of Algeria at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium on the 19th of August and will be the first leg of the African confederation cup. The match will be a very tough one for the Benin boys as Asochlef is a strong team with three foreign player from Tunisia ,Botswana and one other African country. The Asochlef team is worth more than 5 million dollars and Bendel insurance will have to up their game if they will be able to get a good result from this match. Insurance will have to make use of home advantage as the Algerians are very good in their home background back in Algeria. The Edo state Government is massively supporting the team providing free buses that will convey fans to the stadium free of charge as the gates of the stadium will be thrown open free. Wishing my darling club Bendel insurance the best of luck and expecting black burster bullet Imade osarenkhoe our top striker to score in the match. The Benin gunners for the win, Mark it down Sir |

ajepako: Chai...Best of Nigerian soccer after US 94
We all stayed till midnight to watch Nigeria vs Brazil and Nigeria vs Argentina..
Mosques and churches started intense prayers for Nigerian Dream team that midnight when we were head to head against Brazil
Even my dad that never watched football joined in praying for Nigerians triump against Brazil..
Come and see patriotism at its peak that night..
Nobody was Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Efil, lshan or Ibibio
We were all Nigerians that memorable night
All Nigerians woke up to embrace each other after that epic victory!
Joy erupted on the streets even at 4am!
The peak was Lagbaja that composed a victory song with the noise of the street and victory that same midnight ( Charter plenty basket Naija no get respect, ask Brazilia, ask Argentina , when we talk of soccer...eh! Nigeria l'oko iya won)
On my street, we even sang national anthem at 4am after that match!!
Good ole Nigerian

Racoon: The stunning semi-final match against Brazil( which Nigeria won 4 : 3) and the equally victorious 3 : 2 final match against Argentina are the most memorable during this tournament. I remember my dad off the TV when Brazil was leading 3 : 1 and asked my and younger brother to go and sleep - that it is over for Nigeria. I went to my neighbor's quarters to watch the match
The thunderous shout of Nigeria's final goal that Kanu Nwankwo scored in the early hours of the next day sent the whole Barracks into a frenzy. My neighbor almost chopped my head off when he unknowingly lift me up to a ceiling fan above his house during celebration.
We just could not sleep that night but jubilate till we got to government house in Agodi. The final victory against Argentina was a continuation of the one against Brazil. I can't still describe it.
These two teams were the world's football houses then.I know the "indomie generation" will never understand what it took Nigeria to attain this feat, but God was the ultimate pillar behind us as both Brazil and Argentina were really humbled that year to learn a big lesson in never allowing pride be their downfall. nlfpmod Indomie generation no fit understand nau That Kanu injury time go send everybody into a frenzy then, It's cos of school popsi pursue me go sleep around 5am, Omo final match I no gree, watched it outside in my neighborhood, at the next compound opposite ours, omo good old days, days where those big guys will throw party after SE achieves a football milestone |
