How many remember  a time when brick games were like the PS4, PUB G's of today.
When if you didn't have a brick game you didn't belong, how we loved pressing the buttons on those handheld devices with our fists 
tightly clasped on both ends of the brick game.

Whether it was blue, brown or black it didn't really matter because all we wanted to see was those bricks aligned and falling into place
if we were building a house or to avoid incoming brick cars if they were coming to hit us.

My cousin George was given a brick game to play and he was like " I can't play this old outdated thing" , give me PS4.

Only for him minutes later to go press the button of the brick game after he reasoned all the things he was missing.

OP,
The people going 'this is great' are doing you a great disservice and aren't providing you with constructive or good criticism that can drive you to improve.

The UI is extremely basic. The title screen itself shows a lack of attention to detail. The last screenshot in your OP shows how poorly aligned the 'Corona Wars' and 'tap anywhere to play' text blocks are.

Surely you can get better UI icons off the internet or even designed by a local designer ?

The sound effects can and should be improved. I'd like to see better lighting effects on your ship models, especially while firing. The 'bullets' are also rather basic.

It's disappointing you tweaked the difficulty over uninformed feedback. Shooters usually start slow, to allow you get a grip of the controls and learn how the progression works. All enemies should be killable in the game. But here the enemies pop up in parallel, take an absurd number of shots to kill and thus your gameplay is spend dodging enemies vs killing them.
Since the enemy rate of fire is so high, you're already spending way to much time weaving in and out of the firing line right from the very first screen!

The coins are basic in design and are all over the place. Because of how unsatisfying the combat is, I suspect most people will spend time just collecting coins.

Basically the game needs improvement but the intro text is good, the game play and the bullets are also okay, this is an indie developer we are talking about here, the graphics need to be improved, beside that the game is good.
