Ebony, whats with you and this Jesus Talk. If u read through my text i did mention that i cheated in the past even before still water brought stuffs forward. Also i didnt deny the cheating story after it came out.

Ok, i cheated, i did it. but that was not the problem, that was not the reason for the break up!

even after everything, my question simply was, Why return my gifts? i have listened carefully to every ones contribution and i think i have a well rounded understanding of the situation. the past always comes back to hunt you! it mite not b in ur face but b sure its under the table. lesson learnt!

Most of u girls who feel any guy who cheats is not worth it being with,  u probably have not checked into your boyfriend's activities. but the truth is, if u do trust him den you dont hav 2. thats d fact, u mite agree wit me or u mite not. there is a slang that goes, "everyone is a virgin, but d one who gets pregnant na im nak pass".

Even your mother would tell u that at one point in her married relationship with your father, there was a case of infidelity or a problem with some other woman, but would that give u d authority to insult your father?

Look the point im trying to make is this, we all make mistakes, if u feel u hav d right to judge your partner for a mistake and then hold on to that mistake to use it against that person; then quit frankly u shouldnt be with that person anymore.

I have forgiven myself of anything wrong i have done in the past,  No relationship is prefect, no individual is perfect, i admit that but can you?

People on nairaland will never stop to amaze me, someone puts up a post and you go as far as reading the person's previous posts. Haba!!!! Stillwater, do u think i am not aware of the post, it was a true expereince which i shared that was why i removed it. You can as well give out the links to all my post so that people will hate me .

I aint here for sympathy, im here for the truth and nothing but the truth, it mite be harsh, it mite be insultive, it mite hurt but its only the stupid that will hear the truth and turn their ears away. I pasted that post because i felt guilty, i did wrong, i cheated and t[b]hat wrong had already been corrected before the past caught up with me.[/b] it was the mixed feeling that made me share my experience on nairaland.

that story was posted last year May, the incident of cheating took place in 2008. If u still want to judge me feel free, but my breaking up with her is not my problem and like i said before i dont feel guilty about it.

1. There is no guilt! I honestly dont want her back.
2. We had a misunderstanding (AGAIN) and i hadnt spoken to her in like a week, this time around unlike before i didnt even bother to get across to her (hence the reason for my statement that i wanted to give her space). She called me first and said she is no longer interested in dating me and i did not object or question her about that. Next thing she's in my office to return stuff, may i add that i did not ask for anything.
3. I need this confrontation and discussion because i sincerely want to let it all out but like i mentioned i dont want to share it with people that i know (reasons best known to me). Guilt really isnt the issue, its more like hurt, not for what she did but for what i have lost.

Hope u get my state of mind!

simple, gather your evidence and let them know u are aware. do this without makin trouble!

Ohh! No, i get wat ur saying, i hav painted the picture of a sweet loving guy who has never done wrong. Thats nt d case, we hav had problems between us, some she has caused, alot of them i have caused but we have over time worked through our problems.

Break up is never easy especially when you know clearly you are not responsible for it and like i said she came to me asking for a break up. I definitely wont come out to say i did her wrong to lead to the break up but if i did why would i hide it, nairaland peeps wont be dishin me an award 4 my story. to cut the long story short, i felt we needed space between us and i was hoping that she would figure out the kind of relationship she wants and go after it. the items she returned where just little things, cards, letters, clothes, female accessories, bible, prayer books, rings, make-up kit, phones and stuffs. She knows clearly that there is more, she drives a car which i bought, i have paid her school fees for like 3 sessions, i have spent money on her in ways that i cant even remember.

anyway my head is too hot to hold it all, im still deeply depressed becos of the break up but i aint going back that road. i like 2 talk abt issues on nairaland becos u get all sorts of opinions here and people tell u what they feel with sentiments. i cant talk 2 my friends abt my break up becos most of them, especially the girls didnt like her.

We have been together for 4 years and after several misunderstandings she decides to end the relationship which i do not object to but she returns all (most) the things i have bought for her since we started dating. I'm wondering whats the deal with that; but in order not to create a scene since she came 2 my office 2 do this, i didn't question her-i just collected them.

I must say the Abati guy has some valid points
Main reason why i cant be bothered about Nigerian songs anyway, from day one, i have never been a fan!

Conclusively, Nigerian artistes need to step up the game and people like Reuben Abati should be more cautious about rants in the future!

If you say Eldee was rude, then u assumed in your head that Abati's write up was written with the respect for the people he was referring to.
Please be corrected that regardless of your age and status in society; when you occupy sensitive positions there should be a manner and attitude in communicating with people; regardless of your personal opinions.

Eldee spoke to him like his mate because Abati obviously did not take in account the amount of hardwork, and effort this young people have put into the music industry. He has played no role in the entertainment world and does not have the audicity to make such open condemnation. Also i fault him for calling out names and quoting their lyrics and referring to it as nonsense, for doing that he insulted them directly and hence deserves what ever response in what ever manner it comes.
