To be honest July 5th seems to be when an officer actually opened your file for review. Seems these people are sitting on applications and taking their sweet time and not considering resumption dates 😩

Omooo nawa oo. And I heard that school might even ask for stamped visa page like a month or 2 weeks to resumption

Any applicants from June received any decision yet? Submitted June 5th, no decision yet, school resumes in Sept 4th, is it advisable to send webform at this point?

Honestly I’ve been thinking about this too. Applied since June 3rd. Although my biometrics was done on June 10th, it took some time before it was updated on my portal (July 5th), but when it was eventually updated, it still showed June 10th, so I don’t know whether I should start counting from when I did the biometric or when it was updated on the portal. I really hope they respond on time and positively.

Just be calm. Mine took about a month before it was updated on my portal. I did biometrics 10th June, it was updated on 5th July so you just have to be patient.

Same situation here. Biometric done June 10th, "Biometric completed" Updated on my ircc portal July 3rd. Crickets ever since lol.
I read on the Canada visa forum that "Biometrics completed" Usually means someone has actually started reviewing your case, so hopefully we get a good decision.

Thats good to know. School resumes by 3rd September so I’m a bit anxious .. fingers crossed anyways

The fact that it was updated on your portal does not mean that IRCC did not receive it before then, just be hopeful for a favourable response.

I did biometric on 10th June and it was updated on 5th July. But when it got updated on my portal, it showed 10th June …so here’s my question
Do I start counting from 10th June or 5th July?… I mean do I assume that they’ve received it since 10th June and started processing it or they started processing it when it reflected on the portal?
