I understand why this issue is becoming more pronounced. Today, people are more aware and conscious of what's happening around them, we see pastors flaunt wealth on social media and live a luxurious life, almost close to politicians.
Tithe is an avenue where SOME pastors get money to upgrade their lifestyle.
The Church is supposed to complement the Government by providing Free education, healthcare, help the less privileged and impact their immediate environment from tithe and offering, hence they are tax exempt, but what we see today is different.
I think Tithing is biblical, how is the utilised is what people should respectfully ask their pastors/bishops/reverend and ensure they are accountable for it
Please do not let them cajole you with Psalm 105:15 or I Chronicles 16:22.
