Tecno by far has the higher feats in this, Mwc confirmed

MWC 2025: How Smartphone Brands Are Redefining Mobile AI & Innovation
The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona set the stage for the next era of smartphones—where AI isn’t just a feature but the heartbeat of user experience. Among the standout brands, realme emerged as a visionary, pushing boundaries with accessible, AI-driven innovation. Here’s how the industry’s key players, including Samsung, Xiaomi, and Tecno, are shaping the future—with realme leading the charge in intelligent, user-first technology.

1. realme: Making AI Smarter, Faster, and for Everyone
MWC 2025 Highlights:
- realme AI Turbo Engine – A groundbreaking suite of AI tools designed for real-world use, including:
- Instant Language Translate – Seamless, offline-capable translation across 50+ languages.
- AI Gaming Coach – Analyzes gameplay in real-time, offering personalized performance boosts.
- Smart Battery AI – Learns usage patterns to extend battery life by up to 30%.
- Realme GT 6 Pro – The world’s first smartphone with 3D nano-ice cooling + AI thermal control, keeping performance at peak during marathon gaming sessions.

Post-MWC Momentum:
- Just weeks after MWC, Realme launched the Realme 13 Pro+, featuring "AI Portrait Studio"—a revolutionary camera system that turns basic shots into professional-grade portraits with simple text prompts.

2. Samsung: AI Gets a Holographic Upgrade
MWC 2025 Focus:
- Galaxy AI 2.0 – Introduced holographic call assistants and predictive AI for productivity.
- Galaxy Z Fold 7 – Thinner, more durable, with AI-powered app pairing.

Post-MWC Moves:
- Launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra with enhanced Nightography AI.

3. Xiaomi: Personal AI Takes Center Stage
MWC 2025 Focus:
- HyperOS 2.0 – AI avatars that adapt to user behavior.
- Neural Smartwatch – Measures stress and adjusts alerts.
Post-MWC Moves:
- Released Xiaomi 15 Ultra with liquid-cooled gaming AI.

4. Tecno: Sustainable Tech Meets Bold Concepts
MWC 2025 Focus:
- Phantom Ultimate 2 – Upgraded rollable display with solar charging.
- Eco-AI – Reduces energy waste in background processes.
Post-MWC Moves:
- Teased Camon 30 Ultra with AI astrophotography.

The AI Race: How Each Brand Stacks Up

While Samsung dominates with premium on-device AI and holographic tech, and Xiaomi focuses on ecosystem-driven personal assistants, realme stands out by making advanced AI accessible to the mainstream—packing flagship-level intelligence into affordable devices. Meanwhile, Tecno explores futuristic form factors like rollable displays and solar charging, but realme’s strength lies in delivering practical, user-ready AI innovations today. The key difference? realme proves you don’t need a $1,200 phone for smart features—bringing gaming enhancements, professional-grade photography AI, and battery optimization to mid-range devices that real users can actually afford.
Which AI feature would you want most in your next phone? What AI feature have you seen the brands implement and who’s killing it in your opinion? Drop your thoughts below!

I knew Tecno would be number one, can't they split the transsion so we can see which is really higher
Valkingtheboss:
Canalys is worldwide smartphone analysis company has released the list of the top 5 smartphone brands Nigerians purchase in the first quarter of 2025.

The smartphone brand with at the first place is Transsion with a market share of 56%, followed by Xiaomi at 26% , Samsung at 7%, realme who recently entered the with the realme Note 50 and C61at 2% followed by HMS Global at 1%.

In 2025, the competition among smartphone brands has intensified, with global and local manufacturers striving to offer devices that balance innovation, affordability, and functionality. Nigerian smartphone users are becoming wisers now ditching Transsion inferior products in the mid range category for worthy options like the realme and Xiaomi.

Pop 9 definitely
KeplersCross:
When shopping for a budget smartphone, one of the most advertised camera specs you’ll often see is megapixel count. But here’s the big question: Does a higher megapixel guarantee better image quality?

To help answer that, tech content creator Benjamin Freeman compared two popular entry-level smartphones — the Redmi A5 and the TECNO POP 9 — in a real-world photo shoot.

Both phones are affordable, aimed at users who want simple, reliable cameras for everyday use. But surprisingly, more megapixels didn’t mean better results.
According to Benjamin Freeman’s video review, the TECNO POP 9 produced brighter images with better overall detail, despite having a lower 13MP rear camera compared to Redmi A5’s 32MP sensor.

POP 9 Images are clearer, brighter, and more color-accurate in normal lighting. While the Redmi A5 Images suffered from a bluish tint and occasional red color cast, which made photos look unnatural. Source-

Basically the Camon 40 and 30, it has it all
doointernationa:
Hello friends,

Considering that in a world there are various people with different specialty and interest, so it is in the world of technology and mobile phones.

Let's dive into talking about certain specifications we consider when making a purchase decisions on Smartphones. What are the features that we want as an individual when buying a new phone?

Those features that make you go for a particular brand at a particular price.

Going first, I tend to be someone who has over 50 apps on a phone cause of how intense I always use my phone on various platforms at the same time. Hence I love to go for phone with larger storage so while roaming I don't run out of space or my phones get to lag and hang.

Another feature I consider when buying a phone is the toughness of the phones. Sometimes I get to be so clumsy while busy and trying to rush up thing hence my phone can fall off at anytime.

I also look out for the camera quality, can't go for phone with lesser MP of camera if it's not 50 and above.

Then the price comes next, checking my pocket with the qualities I am going for. So far Two brands have been my options so far.
Choosing between any series of Tecno and realme based on my budget.

Most times I often go for the realme devices because they are more tougher and stronger.
What about you?

Gonna take a while before y'all can fully competeb with tecno
bibistar07:
Hello everyone,

realme officially entered the Nigerian smartphone space just a few months ago, and they're already making waves. With devices like the Note 50, C61, and now the super-rugged C75, they’re clearly aiming to compete with the big names—TECNO, Infinix, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc.

Here’s what stands out about realme so far:

Great specs for budget-friendly prices

Sleek, bold designs

Features targeted at young, digital-first Nigerians

Plans to grow after-sales support and local presence

In a market this competitive, realme’s strategy seems focused and aggressive. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out over the next few months.

What do you think?

Have you tried any realme phone? How was the experience?

Can they actually disrupt the current market?

Would you choose a realme device over TECNO or Infinix? Why or why not?

Let’s hear your take!
And if you’ve used a realme device, feel free to upload photos, performance tests, or short reviews. The more feedback, the better!
