It's people who have NEVER been to the South East that get deceived by the tales of "billionaires" flooding everywhere.

Visit ANY eastern state and you'd realise it's the same shithole as the rest of Nigeria. But worse because housing is PROHIBITIVELY expensive since everybody is a "billionaire".

One agent in Enugu took me to an ABANDONED motel that was converted to a residential buildings. Each.room is a "self-contain apartment". No water but it goes for #250K per annum.

It's NONSENSE!

At least Enugu is better. It is even worse getting a decent apartment in Ebonyi State and when I got here, it was one of the things that shocked me the most because Ebonyi is just one of those states in the East and ordinarily 100-150k ought to get a reasonable apartment considering that there are no much paying jobs here.

Here, to get a decent apartment ranges from 300k to 350k currently and worst still there is either no light or no water.

It is really pathetic.
