Responsibilities:

As one of our Onshore Security Advisors, you’ll coordinate our security personnel and materials to provide first-class security services in the Lagos area. You’ll report directly to SNEPCO’s Head of Onshore Security and your work will involve:

Intelligence gathering
Managing the area security personnel deployed to assets and project teams
Investigations and prosecutions
Crisis management
Ensuring security contractor performance and monitoring this with key performance indicators
Coordinating all security logistics, transport and communications
Populating the corporate security database with quality operational data (SREM input)
Ensuring compliance with company security policy and procedures
Coordinating the pre-arrival, arrival and general security briefings
Constantly assessing the security situation
Collecting and disseminating useful security information
Ensuring compliance with the journey management system
Maintaining liaison between SNEPCO and the national security agents in the division

Requirements:

With a degree in law, social sciences, criminology or any relevant discipline, you’ll have a minimum of ten years’ industrial security experience. This will include access control, guarding and patrolling, loss prevention, asset protection, investigation and information security.

You’ll have knowledge of ISO 17799 (Information Security Management), ISO 28000 (Security Management Systems), a range of security systems and applications, and security planning and budgeting.

Excellent at building customer and stakeholder relationships, you’ll be a first-class analyser and decision maker with the ability to motivate, coach and develop junior members of your team.
