This was the biggest issue I encountered Infact, I almost gave up here before it was later accepted.

This was how I did it, don’t use a saved picture in your photos/gallery.

Go out to a well light/bright area with white background and take a clear/crisp picture, screenshot it, then submit it.

Better if you can get a very good camera phone like Iphone.

Good evening so I went for capturing today at alimosho office Lagos and I took along all the documents I uploaded and they asked for everything and am done with it very quick and easy . No bribe no extortion.... On the confirmation I saw that the collection date is 25/09/2025 that's more than 6 weeks can I go there when it is 6 weeks. Also the slip says alausa Lagos whereas it is alimosho that I did it also my guarantor name on the confirmation slip isn't who I entered.

As the prices for passports has been geometrically increased starting from September 1, 2025, as announced by The Nigerian Immigration , I quickly cashed in on the old prices.

32 pages of 5yrs validity that was 50k now becomes 100k while the 60 pages of 10yrs validity that was 100k now becomes 200k.

just did mine this afternoon on the website for same old price, 60 pages,100k plus 4k processing fee making 104k in total and already booked an appointment for Biometrics on September 8.

No, you got it wrong.
You went to start application for Nigerians in overseas, hence it brings out list of countries .

Once you’re a Nigerian living in Nigeria, you just click on the green tab and start your application.

Sequel to the announcement that passport will now cost 100k, I tried to go to immigration website and book one down at 50k. I should have done this since 2023 when it was 25k but I knew there was no money to do anything like japa. Then 2024, it increased to 50k but I still don't see any urgent need as there is no money to process japa but today, I thought of booking one down at 50k before it is increased to 100 by Sept 1, I realize that they intentionally remove Nigeria from the list of processing countries.

This is wickedness from the Nigerians authorities. Upon the hardship this govt has put us through, they still decided to increase INTL passport fee by 100%..... This govt has come to destroy Nigerians..... This is pure wickedness and hardship brought upon us by senators, representatives, governors and President.....
