TPAND:Peace corps is not an initiative of the FG, but that of one man who has understood the desperation of Nigerians and decided to exploit same for his personal gains. Since 2003, people have been buying forms for Peace corps and have been going for orientation too, without anything coming out of it. whereas the head of the organisation is living fat off the proceeds of these people. the organisation is registered with the CAC as a non profit, non governmental organisation. But somehow, the masterminds believe they can convince the FG to make it a federal agency, hence they keep pushing a bill to that effect to the national Assembly. Many times the has gone to the house, and many times it has been thrown out. However, each time the bill is read out on the floor of the house, the leadership of Peace corps goes to town with the story that govt is about granting them recognition and then, a fake recruitment drive begins. at the end, people spend as much as 70000 only to come back home and wait for the second coming. Now they will always sell the story that that was how Civil defense started. but that they will even be more powerful than police and Civil defense... and the gullible will believe hook line sinker and fisherman. |
baybeeboi: baybeeboi:[quote author=baybeeboi post=51406036]This should be a serious concern. DSS has been executing duties of police, army, navy, airforce, civil defence, immigration, customs, peace corps, vigilantes, Lawma, RRS, JTf, boys scout, girls brigade etc. Why go after financial crimes when those crimes are under EFCC's jurisdiction? Even if the DSS had perceived such corrupt practices, why not petition or in otherwords communicate the EFCC or better still hand the accused cases over to the EFCC? Someone should please enlighten us on the duties of DSS pls, Modath[/quote Among the various duties of the DSS is the handling of economic crimes of national dimensions. Now let's not forget what the illicit activities of these judges portend to this country and is judicial system. meanwhile, the DSS is not doing the job of anybody, how much less Peace corps wey no get work yet. But you would rather find other agencies wanting to do DSS jobs. Thanks |
Hmmm. For over a now that I recharged #1000 after a long period of nonperformance, I have not been able to even open a google page successfully. And the days are counting. Anyway, just waiting for it to expire. |
I watched Killiwe perform in my primary school in 1985. Then we used to think the feats were not so ordinary. But today, when I watch strongmen competitions, I understand better. Then he pulled a bus with a rope to his neck. lifted an engine block with his teeth. Had a bus run over him. Carried six of the school's teachers with two hands. However, I had he died performing a dangerous stunt...a rumour though. But indeed, Killiwe was a legend. |
I am not discouraging anyone rather I am simply advising for reason. I know many fake agencies that are laying the same claim to being approved by NASS. VGN, PCN, ACVC, NMN, Man O' War, et al. The Peace Corps bill has been "passing second reading" since 2003. Well, good luck guys. But I have genuine info, una go hear. As for NIS matter, please don't expect much so you will not be disappointed as over two thousand persons have been recruited so far in the name of replacement. However we will keep watching. |
When will Nigerian youths stop being gullible? For over thirteen years now Peace Corps has been deceiving people into believing that they have of gainful employment. Many have left in frustration to better their lives. Nearly every year, the PCN will embark on a recruitment exercise based on the story that NASS will soon pass their bill. Thousands will pay as much as 45000 to get in. They will also be the ones to feed themselves during the sham they call training. They will be extorted with promises of juicy postings. But in the end...all na wash. Please my people, two questions... what is the total sum of all the money you pay times the number of applicants? That is good profit, yeah? Now if you say that a bill is about to be passed, why don't you wait until after it is passed to know what your budget and subvention is before embarking on a recruitment exercise? Finally, what is the current strength of PCN and what do they need more. My guys, a word is enough for the wise. |
