It's only recently they re-introduced the "trades school" back into their educational curriculum because white collar employment is now looking bleak for college graduates. I watched a segment on Candace Owen's podcast where college graduates were lamenting their woes on the job market. If not for the accent and skin colour, I would have said these were Nigerian graduates lamenting. Some of them have gone to trades school to learn a trade. It's good to see thay some high schools are incorporating handy skills that students can learn and earn from in case they're unable to get office jobs. Lagos has its equivalent in technical schools across the state. Students from SS1 upwards can go and learn skills alongside their school curriculum

I NEVER went to any man's house to cook and clean. When I was dating my husband, I never went to visit him to cook or clean except for one time when he was very ill. I visited mostly on weekends when he had heaps of laundry and I never washed or ironed any clothes when I visited. There is no written rule that a female must always do house chores whenever she sees herself in man's house. You're 100% wrong. If you turn off your engine and your car is on drive or reverse especially if the terrain is not straight, the car will move forward or backwards. I have experienced this a number of times. There are some very sloppy roads that if you don't apply your handbrake after you park, the car will move if you as much as rest on it. A story made frontpage some months ago where a a parked car moved down a sloppy road in a school hitting and killing a student in the process. Not much was said about how the car got to move but most likely people rested their weights on it enough to push it down and it's handbrakes were not applied.

All the vaccines kids are receiving today are the same ones we received in Nigeria except for the flu vaccine. We just give different doses of the same vaccines at different intervals because some of them have to be received at least two to three times to get the full dose.

This includes measles vaccine (covers measles, chickenpox, mumps and rubella), Polio, Hep B series,

We get all this in Nigeria. At least I got them because my mom made sure we all did. In fact we get more vaccines in Nigeria than they do here ( TB and smallpox vaccines are not given in America but we get them in Nigeria).

1) correlation is not causation. Are there more incidences of mental health issues or are we getting better at diagnosing them? We complain of mental healthcare deficiencies in our country but we are now demonizing vaccines for the ability of another country to provide adequate diagnoses and treatment?

2) if vaccines are causing mental health issues, why are kids in Nigeria not suffering from them too? maybe we’re not providing our kids with adequate mental health services. We just call them stubborn or lazy and beat it out of them. When they could just be depressed or have attention deficit disorders.

I don't want to believe the adminstration will outrightly cancel out vaccination, we all took the routine polio, tuberculosis (BCG), measles vaccines. I have seen a reel of children battling degenerative diseases like dementia, the comment section was filled with parents sharing experiences about how their children are battling such diseases. There was a time my Facebook algorithm kept bringing up children on different behavioural disorder spectrums, some are verbal, some non verbal. I kept asking myself, has it always been like this. There's hardly a family these days that don't have either one child on a spectrum, or diagnosed with some kind of mental illness. Has it always been like this? We need to look inwards and ask ourselves what are we doing differenti that is being such drastic outcomes in the new generation. Is it the food? Is it the water? Is it the air or what we're injecting into our children as infants? I honestly don't know myself but I am very worried about all these foreign substances being introduced into infants' developing immune system.

Does an infant need this much vaccination within the first six months of their lives? I don't think so

But why are babies born with immune systems being made to take up to 15 different vaccines? Compare now to 20-30 years ago before babies were bombarded with a cocktail of vaccines, did you see this many cases of children with autism and other plethora of behavioural spectrum? How many of these tests have you personally observed to come to this kind of conclusion? Have you ever been to a DNA test lab before in this country? You're saying people are running double tests to the tune of hundreds of thousands of naira, how many Nigerians can afford that. How many labs are even well equipped to carry out these tests?
