Hello What do you guys thinks about these two cars as a first time buyer and driver. The first is Peugeot 307 and the second is Toyota Corolla Obama. Which would you advise I go for as Nigerian used and why? My mind is tilted more to the Toyota Obama but I hear most of them usually develop electrical issue due to them being converted from right to left hand driving when they come in Nigeria.

Start by regulating the agberos and touts harrasing people when their vehicles break down on the road. It is becoming too rampant. |
WizardOfNG:Is Eyo a gang, is Eyo a cult, is Eyo a cartel. You gave a very lame excuse there. So, you will need to go to the extent of comparing Eyo to street gangs in other to give justification to the eyesore we are seeing being displayed before the world. Your major goal is to condemn the rubbish first and then strongly call for a fix to the problem so that next time your so called children of hate will not see an excuse to insult you. |
otunbakolawole:and how many security personnel follow a president's child? You guys will leave the core of the matter to start giving weightless excuses. Nobody said he should not be protected, the issue is how many of these personnel does he really need for such protection? |
This tax thing coming up I still don't understand it o! I keep hearing tax on "earnings", what exactly does this "earnings" mean? So, if I send my wife 1 million to buy things for the home, that will be considered earnings for my wife and FG will tax it. Me I am still not understanding. |
Erc606:No, I have not been able to fix it. I don't know why NIMC is acting as if this is not an issue. It's either there are too few people like us experiencing or talking about it enough for them to care. It's sad. |
virginchaser:If GEJ continue to open mouth he thief, if GEJ close mouth he no thief. |
I knew this was coming as soon as I heard GEJ condemn the state of emergency in Rivers. This is a Tinubu signature move. |
BreconHills:I don't understand. Can you be clearer on this? |
OKOATA:for real? I hope that thread was pushed to front page, Nigerians need to be talking more about this |
writetopoka:Honestly, we accept too much nonsense in this country. |
Honestly, this country has a notorious way of consistently defying logic. Why do we always have to pay more, only to receive less in return? How do you explain increasing the cost of data while simultaneously reducing network quality? Did anyone else notice that as soon as data prices went up, internet speed and overall service quality dropped significantly across all networks? Why is no one talking about this? |
osayuwamwen:what brand of inverter refrigerator are you using please? |
Moneyboyz:Which inverter freezer are you using. I mean the brand? |
fashrola:does it freeze your food or it's just very cold? |
AK481:Nice. do they freeze very well and retain the freeze for long? |
yinkus6750:for real? Why is this so. Is it that the inverter freezers do not freeze as good as the regular once? |
Dubem5000:Why not open another thread for this instead of trying to hijack someone else's thread. |
I know this is primarily a NIN/NIMC issue, but it directly affects passport renewal and travel, so please hear me out. I'm unable to renew my international passport due to an error in my NIN details. When I entered my NIN during the online renewal process, my information auto-filled, including my place of birth—unfortunately, it was incorrect. It does not match my actual place of birth, which is correctly listed on my old passport. I believe this mistake happened when my NIN was first registered years ago, but I only noticed it now. After submitting my passport application and making the necessary payment, the discrepancy was flagged at the passport office. Officials told me that my place of birth on the NIN must match my old passport, which it doesn’t. I went to the NIN office to correct the mistake, but they only allow changes to the date of birth, not the place of birth. I also checked online, but there’s no option to update it there either. I’ve emailed NIMC twice with no response. As a result, I’m unable to renew my passport. An immigration official mentioned that they could issue my passport with my actual place of birth, just like my old one, but I worry this might cause issues in the future. Both my NIN and place of birth will be visible on the new passport, and a detailed check could reveal the mismatch, potentially causing trouble later on. I am stuck at the moment and do not know exactly what to do from here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Moderator, please consider pushing this post to the front page so others facing the same issue can contribute. If more people share their experiences, it might prompt NIMC to address this problem. Espeacially the problem of inabillity to change other details in NIN like "Place of Birth". Thank you. |
Does anyone here have experience using an inverter deep freezer or fridge? I know it's a relatively new technology in Nigeria, so not many people have used it yet. I’m considering buying one, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. While it consumes less power than regular freezers, some say it doesn’t last as long and can be difficult to repair when damaged. Most importantly, how is the cooling like. Does it stay cooled for long after power outage? If you’ve used one or know someone who has, please share your experience. I’d really appreciate your insights. Thanks!

I have been to the NIN office here in Asaba but they keep mentioning change of "date" of birth even when I tell them "place" of birth. I do not want to change the date, I want to change the "place" of birth. A wrong place of birth was recorded in my NIN and I need to make changes to it to apply for international passport. Event the online modification site does not include change of "place" of birth. Anybody here done change of "place" of birth? Please help. |
immortalcrown:Thank you. |
Chinjo2:Thank you. I appreciate. |
I just want to find out if it is possible to do International Passport in Asaba, Delta state. |
MrIcredible:Leave women alone. They are not your problem. How many of you men have come out to fight for this country recently, with all the oppression and abuse you suffer everyday from your leaders and politicians. The kicks and blows your leaders give you in this country everyday, e no pass the one wey Diddy give that girl? Yet una put tail for yansh dey shout women women. |
Labour don dey get sense small small. Instead waisting their time attacking the government directly, which will be seen eventually as political, they should target erring institutions instead. |
