Yours is dicey. There's no refusal point, i'd say write an appeal letter in English then translate to French. This letter should be a General appeal letter and should focus on how you were refused noting that no Reason was given and doubts if your application was truly examined hence you would kindly request that your next application be examined fairly.
If you have someone in France , you can send the appeal letter via email for the person to print and assist you in posting to Nantes. This will also reduce cost and get to them faster.
Your Appeal Supporting Document
1. Include a clear Scanned Copy of that Refusal Letter. 2. Your application Cover letter with itinenary. 3. The hotel booking used for the application.
Please dont rush off with a Conference letter for a Business visa for now. It would only reek of desperation give it some months before you put in another application else it would result in another denial.
Beverlyhills: If you have some Western Travel history may be lesser.
If you are a Self Employed first timer, please do a business visa application . This business visa can be Business negotiations with invitation from the inviting company, trade events or Fairs from Reputable event companies etc.
Please don't get any Fake Invitations for visa applications.

Hey Beverlyhills, For my application that was refused without the reason for a refusal do you consider I should re apply with the same documents or I should go through business visa route and get conference letter to attach to the document and re apply again?
It's not complicated and you can do it yourself, what you need do is to, use chrome. It might appear in Portuguese but when you right click, you can translate it to English. I made a video on that already, step by step on how to go about applying. One you have to look out for school which will not be difficult for you to pay and know If you would find the course you want. I'm quite sure this video will help.
Some schools have done the !st phase Application for 2022, Like Universidade de Lisboa, Universidade do Porto, Universidade de Algarve, Universidade de coimbra, Universidade de Evora, IPB and others that i can't but you and always wait for the second phase if you want. But universidade de Aveiro have not done their first phase of application, you can as well be checking their websites for more info.
Note that schools in Portugal interacts with the students by themselves, ask any questions and they would reply you immediately, so it is advisable that you do your application yourself, don't give your hard earn money to anyone
I don't know of any, what i know is that most schools in Portugal application fee is 50euros
Some schools i checked their application seems complicated on their website, i don't mind if u assist in applying till i get my visa, i don't mind paying for the stress
Gentlesoul3268: I feel you bro, na wickedness dey worry all these people . You are qualified but God knows the best Sha, try and send them message by asking for the reason you are denied and let see also you will re- apply.
Travel start from somewhere
What surprise me is that they usually give a reason for denied
The advice I like giving to people is don't give any agent your hard earn monies. One thing I know about Portugal is, if you do and follow the right steps that have been listed, Visa would be given to you.
They do not conduct interview, you only submit your application (you can download it from their website) and when you meet the criterias, God's willing, it would be given to you. Besides, decisions are taken in Portugal and not in Nigeria.
Legalization is done at the embassy. You will submit your certificate and you have to pay per page. I think 15euros or so.
Agbataekwe: Hello, please i want to understand how this proof of finance for 28days works witg the bank I arranged with the bank in putting the 10m doposit in my account for 28days, though i saw the alert that it came in, but anytime i checked my balance or check through my mobile app, i noticed the money isn't reflecting. I asked someone, he told me that it works like that, since the bank put the account on what they call LIEN. So i don't know how true that is, if anybody had thesame experience, please let me know, because i assume my 28days has started counting
Try to print your account statements it will show on ur closing balance
Most schools in portugal don't require that you pay school fees. Like universidade de aveiro(my school) Universidade de evora Universidade do Porto Universidade de lisboa Universidade de coimbra.
Infact, de are many. The one that requires you to pay is IPB, and its just the first month because in Portugal, one can pay installmentally. I mean every month, you divide the school fees into 10 equal parts. It's a good place to study
Thanks you, how is the visa application like? Any interview or legalization of documents
Yes, most schools in portugal application fee is 50euros. Admission is on currently. I made video on that on my youtube channel. Bayobi show is really channel's name
Can you list some schools that didn't collect tuition fees till after visa is out, and does Portugal require interview for student visa application?
EarthChild: Lol… as you mentioned you have been to 4 countries within African continent and one outside the continent (UAE). Well, that is not justified your travel experiences. I am talking with past experiences, I bet you have 50/50 chances of getting the tourist visa. It’s better you cancel your planned and make another plans by going with the business trip. Even with your attached via tours booking that doesn’t guarantee the visa. Please don’t waste your time and money.
Boss traveling history start from somewhere, most of people that have gotten Uk, usa, canada visa must have visited somewhere before or through student routes. I can as well apply with a Virgin passport and still get refused so.
Is not late lol . For those denied tourist visa should look for conference online and reapply . I will not advise for appeal because nothing will come out of it
Like me have already applied. I could have go through that before submitting application as a first timer, well i hope it turns out well.
This is the best advise for first time travelers. Is likely to get business visa than tourist visa as a first time traveller for Schenge visa. I have this experience when I first applied I was denied visa for tourist I later got a conference which I reapply and get the visa.
Is too late before you give us this update o. Where can one book a conference that related to the field as Wood carver artist/journeyman. Already Applied to visit museum and some art galleries and i do book some museum tours via Viator
mialate: No one can rate your chances . Hope for a good response . Any travel history? Your intention and itinerary is paramount.

EarthChild: As a first timer for a Schengen visa you have 50/50 chances. However, if you have obtained a Schengen, UK, Canada and the US visas once, then you are a frequent traveler, you are more likely to be granted tourist visa. I will suggest you change your plans to the “Business trip” You can look for a conference that related to your field or business. A tourist Schengen visa can be good for a frequent travelers. The visas are issued specifically for the purpose of travel for pleasure, while a 'business' visa generally permits a traveler to engage in normal business-related activities. So you need a supporting letter to apply for business visa, which a invitation letter from the organizer in France.
Have already applied as normal tourist boss attached with my tours booking. I have travelled history to 4 african countries and UAE.
I think you should check out some of the grand ecole schools though. I just got admitted to one with 5500 euros per year and paying by installment is allowed.
Well mine was a masters degree
For those interested the second cycle of application is now open
