Tell her u dont have money to buy any gifts for the season. she should wait till her b-day or any other day u want to surprise her. This may be signs that she's after ur money. I watched the match live so i heard all the chants. i saw the whole thing. Ur problem is not with me as i can see i am gradually being roped into a heated debate. if you read my first post to nateev, i said he has silenced those critics that said he couldnt defeat anyother team in the top 4. and i think i also said i was one of those critics. But that does not mean, i am cool with some of the other games. those matches that ended with 8 goals apiece for example left a bad taste in my mouth. Chelsea had a reputation of having the best defence in the league, but this season its different. Which also leaves me as a critic in some other department.

What i am sayin in essence is you cant please everybody. no matter wot u do, someone will always talk even if wot u do is good. AG hasnt silenced ALL his critics and he will never be able to do that. Fergie has some too even with the myriad of success stories he has brought for man-u. In one of my earlier posts, i noted that if u can score many goals and not minimize conceding then of wot use is scoring. Honestly, as much as i liked JM for being a result-oriented professional, i didnt enjoy watchin chelsea games because i found them boring. we were not attack minded. we were not scoring many goals like man-u. but our defense was blocked. Now even after, winning all the available trophies in the EPL in his 3yrs as manger, did the critics stop saying "Chelsea plays boring football".

We all have individual expectations of the club. In our popular nigerian proverb - one man's meat is another man's poison. i like a team that can attack well and still be able to not to concede. I am sure u have a different approach to playing the game too(little wonder why we have the FIFA 08 and Pro evolution soccer games. they give us the liberty of designing a team to our taste). Unfortuanately, JM did not satisfy me. But that didnt stop me from liking him because like i said in my first post to nateev "the end justifies the means". he got the job done and thats wot matters. So i am still a critic in some way and i am still a fan.

let me re-iterate that we cant please everybody and maybe i'll make it my status line. AG will never fully silence all his critics.

Finally, lemme just say with all due respect that it is possible to get ur point accross without insults accompanying them . Clearly, some of us fans are more passionate than others.

i'm sorry o, but i don't remember ever using the phrase "silenced ALL his critics". i can almost swear. Unless u can't quote me. And if u can't do that then, there's no way i could have backtracked.

And it seems you're two different people or it seems you're different person here. your last post he makes u sound incensed with some of other posters. you're even indirectly insulting them, but you're advocating maturity and non-use of insults in the manu-u forum.

its a crazy world we live in. no matter how we try, we can't please everyone. even if we wear a blue shirt, someone somewhere would be like "why didnt he wear a red shirt instead? my point is before now we have all raised concerns about chelsea performance when they meet the big four. i am one of those people. i have always shy'd away from praising him when i hear we score more that 3 in a match. But, we must give him credit. he got the job done and silenced those critics that said he cannot beat anyone on the top four.

i may have to agree with when u say u don't start against arsenal with 4-3-3. its arsenal and their midfield stops nothing short of being venomous. he got it wrong. But i always say the end justifies the means.. correct me if i am wrong but didnt kalou finish the match. if thats true, then we still finished with 3 strikers and 3 midfielders. which means that we retained the formation. Anyway, i am not sure i fare well when it comes to tactical matters. my problem is some people(somze alike) don't want to give him credit for silencing those critics(i repeat in bold:[b]"those critics"[/b]because its not all of them) that said he could not defeat any one of the big four. And to be honest we weren't lucky to have defeated them. it was fair and square.

Since nateev spoke your mind, i think i should only be talkin with him then. or wot do u think? . Anyway, i agree with u about the defense. we can safely give lectures and seminars about defending set pieces because we have been on opposite ends. currently we are on the bad end. i must confess, i get scared when the free-kicks and corners are awarded against us because 9 out 10 times, the are goal bound.

Plus u have admitted it is a big win. And that has silenced some critics. definitely not all of them. i'll still criticize him for all those our matches that ended 8 goals apiece.

Ultimately we desire a trophy from our manager. Anything less, should not be a celebrated achievement. But then again, we were castigating AG for not being able to conquer anyone of the top four teams. That is what i believe we mean when we say he silenced his critics.

And Drogba had been in the match from the start and missed two chances. When AG made two tactical substitutions( in which majority the spectators in the stadium and fans like your self started chanting "You don't know wot you're doin") the game changed and chelsea got two great goals. C'mon men, give honor to whom it is due. Do u know wot would have happend if AG didnt make those changes? I'm sure u don't and honestly no one knows.

I believe we should criticize a manger(constructively or destructively) about his changes(tactical or otherwise) after the match when the result would be available.

We are all fans and we want the best for the club but we must always be objective when making judgements

Most times in competitions, its not always the best team that wins. Luck seems to play a role in someway. I hope it works in our favour But the truth is we do not deserve the premiership trophy. As for champions league, Lets wait and see how we play in quater finals.

In all fairness, we don not deserve the title (even if we eventually win by some miracle such as Derby surviving relegation) this season. Over the previous games, we have clearly put establishing our attacking prowess over defense which was JM's priority. I remember when ASS[/b]anal defeated [b]toto-ham by 5-4 and JM's comments were something of like; ", if i had my defense concede more than three in training, they would spend extra hours, " or something of that sort. This season we have proven to critics that we can score goals but if u cannot defend them then of what use is scoring?

Dont get me wrong i am a chelsea fan(somze can testify) and i am goin nowhere. But we just have to call a spade a spade. Hopefully, Champions league(which the club claims to be top priority) will be different.
