Cherish things while you still have them, before they're gone, and you realize how precious they really are. Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards. Everything in life is temporary. So if things are going good, enjoy it because it won't last forever. And if things are going bad, don't worry because it won't last forever either. Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and never cross a bridge without knowing how to swim the tides. If you could not add years to your life Add life to your years

I belive in one theory and that is: If you are jiltted by someone you love for whatever reason, that person will for sure one day return to apologies be it long or short cos the law of Gamma will surelly caught up with them, The apology will then depend on you weather to accep it on not, Those that refuses to return usually end up dieing in silence,

A friend of mine once wrote this to me,  I have been in an abusive relationship for three years and in those miserable years i was they one usually making amends for it to work hoping that it will change for better but ending worse than before. I have suddenly realize that moving on is the best option eventhough it is very painful but i believe it will be beneficial at the end as the pain will soon go away.

I wouldn't start blaming her for anything as she is not here to defend herself but I have just realize that i was so use to her that i cant do without her or stay a day without calling even when she messed up big time just to save my heart, well i thank God for the Courage,

The truth is that they were incompatible  So brothers and sister, though it hurt to end some relationship, but you just have to let it go cos it will save you more of the trouble

@ bluespice:

The obvious reason people  why people opt for long distance relationship in cases like this is that Good girls with good ethical and social upbringing are hard to find in this western world,  that is why most people prefer going back to their root,  You know something, most women in the western world sees marriage as a contract that can be cancel at any slightest provocation especially when there is financial gain from it. Some also go back home because their parent want them to marry from home,  It is strange tho:

Now if you look critically you will realised that you are keeping her just because of fear of what people will say or react after that long or how another man will be enjoying her and most commonly how you will start a new relationship again after that long courtship,

Apparently, I think the best medication to this trauma is for you to brace up, have a couple of girls too and make her know about it, make her feel jealous and hurt there she will understand how it hurt to be batray ed.

Suffer her emotionally, for sometime and see her reaction, if she stays, she is truly sorry, if not, then understand that she was just sorry because you caught her. With this, you will understand that you have pay her back and you will not fell offensive in the near future.

After this, that is, if she stays, draw her closer, show her even more love and affection, tell her the consequences of what will befall her next time she tries that.

I have learned that women are emotional junkies, they are slaves to their own emotions. For a woman, love is just a feeling. But for a man, or at least for me, love is a commitment you make in SPITE of your feelings. It is a decision "for better or for worse" to work things out, no matter what. But I can't count on a woman to make that kind of commitment. She is a woman - she will go with her feelings. As soon as she doesn't feel "in love," all bets are off! Because of this, I no longer trust women. I don't think they can be counted on for truth or fidelity, thus I cannot respect them either,  When was the last time you heard a woman say, "word is bond" ? NEVER because they don't think in those terms. I wish things weren't this way, I grew up believing in the cartoon version of romance,
