If you thought the Gionee Marathon M3 with 5000mah battery was a battery king, then you have something coming up your sleeves. Reports making the rounds say that the next Gionee phone simply called M5 is set to launch with two (2) batteries. Gsmarena reported that although the phone will have 2 batteries, one can power the phone while one is hot-swapped and recharged. Gionee claims this phone would last for 4 days on a single charge.
Many questions now will be begging for answers especially how can they incorporate these 2 batteries while retaining the mobility of the device or are we going back to the days of phones that measure up to 15mm in thickness?

No, I don't think they just woke up and announced it. They did it in response to etisalat Easylife 4.0 which was recently launched too and offers the same call tariffs..
So it's more of a panic move.

The Nigeria Communications Commission has moved to halt the tariff plan recently launched the Telecoms giant MTN. According to the statement issued over the weekend, MTN embarked on the promo which charges 11k/s across all networks with a daily access fee of N5. The plan also allows calls to 5 international destinations at a flat rate of 20k/s without permission.
In a letter dated May 19, 2015 with ref No NCC/MTN/18/15 and signed by the Head, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement, Mr. Efosa Idehen and Head, Legal and Regulatory Services, Mrs. Yetunde Akinloye, the Commission said the records of the Commission showed that the operator has no approval of the regulatory authority before embarking on the new promotional tariff plan.
The message says this violates Section 108 (1) of the Nigeria Communications act 2003.

I don't really know howbit works, i started using the line January this year and whenever i recharge 3500 for 4.5gb i get 7k for voice calls to all networks valid for 7 days. I also get 400 for voice calls whenever i recharge 200. My brother Airtel is da bomb ( no be marketing things oh) just call their customer care and they would put you through

Let me also add that on beta talk, your charge is flat rate while if you u use that 400 on super saver for about 4 days, your talk time will reduce after U've paid N24 daily for days.
