THE presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Maj.-General Muhammadu Buhari, has assured Nigerians of his neutrality on religious issues. He urged the electorate not to be bothered by the propaganda tagging him an Islamic extremist.

In a grand finale south-east rally speech at the Imo International Conference Centre (IICC), Owerri, Imo State capital on Monday, Buhari, accompanied by the governors of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, Rivers, Chibuike Amaechi, Lagos, Babatunde Fashola, APC chieftain, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, former governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige, and other party chiefs, noted that in past elections as a presidential candidate, he picked Christians as his running mate, wondering the reasons for the hate campaigns against him.

According to him, he was worried why in the last 16 years, the nation’s economy has experienced a great downturn orchestrated by the “high level of corruption, insecurity and decay in infrastructure among others,” adding that he would address this if elected into office.

His words: “The case of religion as a vote against me cannot hold. Now you have to cough out N230 to get a dollar. In the past 16 years the price of crude oil has dropped from $140 to $50 per barrel. The economy is in doldrums. Everything has failed – security, economy. We are really in crisis in this country.”

Earlier, Rochas Okorocha, had stated the relevance of the people of the south-east in the nation’s politics, stressing that their desire was to ensure that Igbo are not made to go through a total of 28 years before the presidency could get to the zone.

Okorocha decried the alleged sealing off of the premises of Imo Council of Traditional Rulers by security operatives, accusing the Presidency of this action.

He also decried the posting of state commissioners of police from their present posts to other states except the police boss in Imo.

Onu, in his contribution lamented the allegations of Islamic extremism against Buhari. He said the APC presidential candidate is a man of honour, having served Nigeria in various capacity, including being head of state.

Let me talk from my understanding of genetics and inheritance, the height of the parents as a matter of fact affects the height of the children. These genes are inherited from both parents and it depends on the dominance and recessiveness of the genes for tallness (T) and that for shortness (t). So if U have the dominant gene and ur husband provides the recessive gene, that particular child will not be short but if it goes the other way round I'm afraid the resultant offspring will be short. However, environmental factors also play a major role in the height of the child. Adequate nutrition (not too much carbohydrate), less stress, mental and physical exercise etc are also important.
You can also get a rough ESTIMATE of ur children's height by adding the heights of both parents ( in inches), add 5inches for males and substract 5 inches for females and then divide by 2. This will give u an estimate of what to expect their heights to be like. Although it's just an estimate. But finally, God is the one that gives children and He makes them beautiful for His name's sake.

I just stumbled upon this pic in my gallery and decided to share... Last year the Imo state government gave land to Thai Agro and Allied to set up a pilot cucumber farm in owerri. Guess who they called to set up and manage the farm? Me! so, yes, it's one in a long lists of farms I co-own or manage.
Imagine my surprise to visit the farm and see the governor eating my cucumber. . Remain small make i shout Ole! Lol. Long story short, that visit has helped me access a lot of ministry of agric facilities in Imo state.

I laugh at people when they queue up in government house to submit proposal. My belief is that if you aspire to be the best, and actually get there. you won't stand on any queues

Moral of this story: Whatever you are doing, be the best at it and watch world Leaders queue up to meet you.
