I just bought this pot in idumota days ago, but when I boiled eggs in it, the used turned brown.

Please has anyone here witnessed anything like this before?
I am thinking that this could be a result of the chemical used by the manufacturer of the pot.

After scrubbing off the brownish colour with power, I boiled water in it but it turned out brown again.

Please what could be the cause? I don't want anything that will affect my health. Should I discard the pot?

I just bought this single pot from idumota days ago, but when I boiled eggs in it, the inside turned brown.

First I was afraid that it may be some chemical used by the manufacturer of the pot. I used scrubbing powder to wash off the brown stain.

Later I decided to boil water to see whether it will turn brown again, unfortunately it burned brown again.

Please has anyone here witnessed Anything like this before? Is it save to eat food cooked in this pot? I don't want anything that will affect my health. I am ready to discard the pot.
