there is nothing bad with this policy, but these thing should be done in phases. And more education of these policy to the market women.

I was around oilmill market yesterday, those women were just raining insults on the cbn governor. I feel people should be given time, and appropriate measures should be put in place to educate ppl

The best candidate would have been

1-Someone with the loyalty bestowed on Asiwaju and who has contributed to the political scene by at least a decade and understands the terrain.

2-Someone with Atiku's political clout all over the country....Don't forget Atiku has gotten 11 million votes in the past.

3-Someone with Peter Obi's zest and energy and connection to the plight of the youths

But none of them have all these qualities....

We cant vote Obi because no be energy we go chop.Obi is naive and the owners of Nigeria cannot even trust him, because they dont have direct access to him.He is popular in the East.Nigeria is too complex to be presided by a nobody like Obi.

Atiku is also dicey because i just dont trust a man that has a second home in Dubai, his economic policies might be towards his own pocket. After being VP for 8 years with a president that was anti-corruption(Obasanjo). He has nothing to show in terms of contribution to national development.

Tinubu's wealth is stupendous, which is not unexpected as he became a king in Lagos state.....after acquiring power democratically, This is a dangerous precedence.He is also weak and old.What if he turns Nigeria to a monarchy...and becomes the de facto king of Nigeria.

All these 3 candidates are not competent to rule Nigeria. I wish something happens and all these 3 people go away for some nothing to lose, no nonsense person to fix the whole country.

1. the new measures could restore confidence in the local currency as the bulk of naira notes stalked by politicians, criminals and other illegal operators would be returned to the banking system helping the cbn to monitor the currency in the economy

2. currently Nigeria is having challenges with terrorist and banditry across the country. with money being paid to kidnappers as ransom running in billions of naira. it is expected that the ransom money is yet to find its way into the banking system. when this policy is implemented, the money would be brought out to be exchanged with the newly designed notes, and this could lead to crime detection and prosecution of many.

3. it is also expected that with the new notes, most tattered naira note currency pushed into the system would be eliminated while counterfeit would be refrained for a couple of years.


NEGATIVE EFFECT.

1. THE COUNTRY WILL SURELY BE UPSET BY THE CHANGE IN THE CURRENCY AS MANY MERCHANT AND PETTY TRADERS WOULD START REJECTING THE OLD NOTES AHEAD OF ITS IMPLEMENTATION

2. The cost of food and other items will shoot up as the naira notes for transaction will become scare while many people may go hungry because they could not get new naira to make necessary purchase

3. Armed robbery would escalate as they will be targeting bullion vans which will be transporting the new currency

4. the banking hall will be jam packed with people scrambling to exchange their old currency for new notes putting pressure on the lean capacity of the banks to process currency

Atiku might not be the best, but right now atiku is the only man I feel that can take Nigeria forward. Tinubu just wants the also rock for his retirement plan. Peter obi doesn't have the muscles for the many challenges facing Nigeria.

Atiku is a unifer, he is a business man, he is a patriotic individual. he understands Nigeria and all that intells being a Nigerian

it is better I vote for atiku than voting for tinubu. obi would have made the right candidate, but I don't think he has the muscles to combat Nigeria issues.

This one we are hearing of islamitization, by the time tinubu becomes president, it will come a reality.

I just pity this our Christan religious leaders who have sold their souls for money. by the time they convert all this their mega churches to mosque and members stop paying tithe na that time their eyes go open.
