Do African Christians hate their ancestors?

To me, I have never heard that anyone hate their ancestors.
It is ignorance will make a person hate something that do not exist

If we do not accept that most of our ancestors were primitive traditionalists who never saw western education in their time, and accept them the way they had lived their lives in Africa, then there is no way we can make amendment to solve the African problem.
Taah! You lie so confidently. You and your kind call our ancestors demons... labeling evil spirits as ancestral spirits, and somehow you think you can just get away with the lies. It depends on where you are standing. Presently, you know nothing about our ancestors and see nothing, except through a Eurocentric lens. Civilization began in our land. Our ancestors were the founders of civilization—language, writing, science, astronomy, medicine, agriculture, technology etc. You know nothing besides what white man permits you to know.

Whether Romans where black or white is not really my concern. It is still the same old worship of mother(Lucifer ) and her son.
Why should I partake in it.

What the Ethiopians know about Jesus is what the Roman empire told them. But the Egyptians had their own messiah before the Romans invented their own Jesus christ. Here is an artifact from the Egyptians.
You're correct, but the civilization known today as Egypt was built by black people from our land. Our people took civilization there. The name for the saviour was stolen from my people. The so-called Aramaic name Isho, which was later translated as Yahusha or Yeshua in Hebrew and Jesus in Latin, is from my hometown. The name Isho is the name we call God in my dialect.

The ancient name for Egypt is Kemet. My tribe is called Nkem. They say Kemet means black land, but it's a lie. Like many other ancient civilizations, they either do not know the meaning or they hide the meaning. Nkem means circumcision. Kemet is Nkem land- the land of circumcision

There is an agenda to create confusion on this thread, this is why they are lying and saying all kinds of nonsense. Stay with me

Black and white is a dichotomy created by Rome, Latin is the language of Rome, in Latin, anything called black is of a low spiritual state and anything called white is of a high spiritual state

Anything Rome labels black is useless.

It was never so simplistic as to be a matter of skin colour. Empirical evidence shows you that the nation of Whites are the prosperous developed nations. The nations of Blacks are the poorest most underdeveloped nations.
You are still tied to Latin, Rome, and English because you are still bound by Babylon. What nonsense empirical evidence? Would you have said so if we lived in a time when black Africans ruled southern Europe from 700 to 1492 AD? Would you have said so if you lived in the time when dark skinned Africans colonized and civilized Egypt? Or when they built the Akkadian, Roman, and Greek civilizations?

The term Negro is of Latin origin and it was adopted into spanish. When the Moors ruled the world, they were not black mentally or spiritually.

Being dark skinned is not the same as being black. And being white skinned is not the same as being white. White or Black is a spiritual state, white is glory, black is servitude
Who told you that? Your ancestors or the white man? Even in bible days, you could not enter the temple with pale skin. There is a difference between the color black and darkness (spiritual). Even spiritual darkness may be positive or negative, depending on the context. This is too high for a Eurocentric mind to grasp. Before day comes night. The Earth is often referred to as black. The Earth is where life springs up from. Put a seed in the earth, and it dies and life springs forth. The blacker the earth, the more fertile. The earth is like a woman's womb, which is a dark place. From her womb proceeds life.

It was a missionary called Frumentius from the Roman Empire that took the story of Jesus to Ethiopia in the 4th century CE. So the Ethiopians themselves did not see Jesus to know what he looked like.
You must be kidding, He was born among them. His story was known in the Nile valley and the region of today's Ethiopia. Even the earliest Romans were black North Africans, but you do not know. He was not a global Lord, as he was repackaged to be in Christianity.
The idea of the Christ is more ancient than Egypt, Greece, and even Roman civilizations. He was called the SUN of Righteousness, whom our ancestors had known thousands of years before any of the above-named civilizations began.

MrPresident1:
What is the connotation for Black in Latin or Aramaic?

There is no glory in being called Black.
Where does this glory come from? What is the glory in being called white?
Go and find out... the name negro began in Spain and it was used to refer to the most noble and respected class of Jews (our people) who ruled Spain and Portugal along with the Moors for 700 years. MOOR is another name used to refer to the dark skinned North Africans who also ruled parts of Europe, including Spain and Portugal, yet due to certain factors in history, the name was and still is respected.
You probably don't know that the Character or reputation of a person or people bearing a name often gives the name its meaning.
Today, no one wants to bear the name Judas, even though the name means LORD, praise, etc.

Our people have fallen from grace and their position at the right hand of their God and rulership over the kingdoms of this world to become servants and slaves. Do you recall that there was a time "jew" was an insult? Like they'll say, "see this jew guy...". But today, it's a respected name because of media propaganda and global politics by the powers that be.

Jesus is a white European. That is the colour the people who created him presented. You cant be more Catholic than the pope. You can't be more Christian than the pope. What nonsense.
They gave their God Europeans attributes and brought him to you as a conquered man to worship and now you want to change the appearance of their god. It is like a white man trying to change sango to white. When the original owners of the deity is saying it is black.
Why argue with them? You can either accept him the way it was presented to you or you don't. I didn't, because I know it will amount to idolatry.
It is not a must you follow him. If you want to worship a black deity. Then come back home. There are enough to choose from.
Why should I be arguing whether Jesus is black or white? Makes no single sense..
The Romans of today are not the original writers. Before the Renaissance of 1400s, all images and representations of the Christ, the saints, the church etc were of black people. Ethiopian bible which is the oldest still has those black depictions of Christ the apostles and the prophets. It is not an argument but a statement of fact. I will simply state the fact anytime any day

However, I agree we should leave their Jesus and religion for them, even though they all originated from our land. We should rather be mindful of ourselves and our Fathers (ancestors).

The Ejagham Akwanshi refers to Ancestors in Nsi/Nshi (eternity/the ground). Akwa has the root "Kwa", a word used to refer to " Great ones", "the greatest" or "the highest" since ancient times. Words that are derived from Kwa include Akwa (EFik/Ibibio), Ukwu (Igbo), Kwa (Zulu, KWA people), Qua (Ejagham), Kwushi (Kush) etc.

The Ejagham Akibansi refers to the Ancestors. Akiba-Nsi meaning: "coming from Eternity" (Ejagham) or Aba-Nsi meaning they Abide in eternity (EFik/ Ibibio). Akibansi is mirrored in words like Abasi (EFik/Ibibio word for the Creator), Akbar- Arabic, meaning "the greatest", Abyssinia etc.

Be careful of that teaching that makes you hate and despise your ancestors. The agenda is to remove us from our inheritance of greatness and dominion on earth. The enemy who does this knows who you are and knows that the ownership of this earth was given to you. He can't take that from you unless he deceives you into hating and disconnecting with your ancestors who are the true founders of civilization.

If you have a problem with evil spirits or demonic oppression, deal with it, and leave our ancestors alone.

Honestly, I am almost persuaded to believe everything you put up here until I have to disagree with you where you said the Ejagham preceded the tower of Babel. You really have a touch with history and would be great if supported to dig deep and refine such a fine brain.

God's never afraid of mankind. He knows when and where to strike him whenever he wants to play God or equate with him.
Our people know the Creator, not according to the religious books. According to your Bible, man is just about 6000 years on earth. So what happens to the more than 10 thousand year old pyramids of Egypt? The images of our people are on the pyramids. You will see our wisdom on display in ancient Kemet. And Kemet wasn’t even the earliest civilization. The sooner we agree that we were taught many lies, the quicker our recovery.
Culture › Re: Statements Form An Ibibiio Woman That Annoyed Neighboring Tribes by donnie(op):
psucc:
Interesting read. Civilization may have started from Ejagham where they tried building the tower of Babel and got struck with diverse languages that put confusion among them.
Ejagham land is indeed the birthplace of Civilization. The Babel story is just an allegory. We’ll discuss that later, but first let‘s talk about the name Ejagham, because there is where the mystery lies. The name Ejagham can be divided into two parts. The first part is “jag”, a word that is derived form Efik, Ibibio and Ejagham and means to ket go or separate (from a person). An Ejagham person. Will say “yag me ubo”. An Efik person will say “yak mi ubok”. Both expressions translate as “leave my hand“ in English. And by the way the “y” and “j” sounds are user interchangeably by the people in this region. Hence, pronunciation of words like junction can often be heard with the “j” sounding a “y” and vise versa.

Very importantly also (even though they claim the origin is unknown) the English word “jag” is borrowed from these African languages and means: to cut into uneven pieces. The second part “gam” is an old English word for “come”.

So there you have it… Ejagham is the place of the beginning… where the original families of the earth were separated and the point to which they will reunite.

psucc:
That's why every village there has their own almost distinct language. Confused, they develop pidgin English to help themselves communicate. This two is civilization
Speaking of Babel, like I said, I see it as one of the many allegories in scripture. Frist, going by the Bible story, my people preexisted Babel and even Adam.
Historically, there are several references to such divisions, separation or scattering. Beginning from Sumer which Sumerian writings say was dispersed by the coming of the Elamites . Interestingly Elam translates as trouble in Ejagham. Can you now see what difference our understanding of Ejagham brings to contemporary history and even scriptures?

And as for the God of the Babel story who was afraid or intimidated by man’s growth and ascension and scattered the people… or the God of Eden who forbade knowledge and drove them out of the garden for acquiring same… what can I say? And scattering the people seems to be a favorite strategy of his. What is He afraid of? Or were the stories told to us correctly or were they misinterpreted (whether deliberately or ignorantly)?

What you don’t know is that world religions were designed to deceive and control. Any devil can use any religion as long as it helps his agenda.

In the same way, Satan can use any person or situation to advance his plan against YA’s people. The question I have now is, do you know who YA’s people are?

This is a long time, I see you posted this since 4-5 years ago. I followed the thread and I find you very intriguing (You and not the topic). I have a question for you please.

Do you identify with those Black Americans that call themselves Black Hebrew Israelites?
They are our people. Descendants of the same ancestors and founders of civilization. I do not identify with any religion or sect. However, I understand that the peculiar situations or challenges they face gave rise to the various black movements which seek or focus on the redemption of their own people.
